I'm not one to leave a negative review very often but here goes. We have purchased three vehicles from Mark Chevrolet through out the years, so when we were looking for a specific truck we went there. They had one truck in transit that we would be able to see when it came in. JC pulled the invoice and ran the numbers to see if this truck was going to be in our budget and he came back with a lease quote that was in our price range. So we told him we will leave a 200.00 deposit and gave him our debit card and then he brings our debit card and receipt back for a 300.00 deposit. That was the first red flag in my mind that this dealership doesn't do business in a trustworthy manner. When the truck came in we seen it and yes it was beautiful and it was everything my husband wanted but now JC informs us that the truck is nicer than they originally thought it was even though he looked at the invoice and seen what it had when he gave us our price quote. So now the payment is now going to be 200.00 more a month then he first quoted. Yep the old Bait and Switch! Sorry but we are not your suckers this time around! Mark Chevrolet could be more forthcoming on actual price quotes on leases upfront, and stop misleading people and wasting their time. I would not have left a deposit on the second price quote he presented us with. Car salesmen earn their shady reputations by doing business this way. Transparency would be a much more respectful way to run a business! read more

They worked with my budget beyond belief and truly went above and beyond to work with me! J.C. is a stellar sales associate and overall person. He showed me the utmost respect and truly listened to my requirements in the features I was seeking in a vehicle. As a women it felt wonderful to trust that I was getting the best deal possible, and I most certainly DID!! Recently purchased a 2017 "certified" used car from here and two days after buying the engine light come on. SA says they are swamped it'll take a three days to look at. This place is no place to take your car for any repairs!!! BEWARE!!! First thing, when you walk in the service door and you are ignored. The guy behind the computer acts like you are bothering him! The place is a rip off! Took more than three times to get the job done right. One thing turns into 5 or 6 and a few thousand dollars later, you'll be lucky if the reason you brought it in for was even worth it. I say "three strikes.. you're out"! Their phone answering service is a joke too, you go round and round in a loop and still won't even say on the recording what their hours are. It's a joke and so is this place. Well, had my cruse in the body shop for some minor repair . App to 1000 worth mainly on the hood. When the wife brought it home I looked at it there is run in the paint. And the whole bottom edge is sell rough from were the paint ran off to the tape. And they pulled the tape when it was still wet. They scratched up my chevy logo on the front at some time working on it. During prep while the hood was on the car. They took hood off to paint and when they put the hood back on it hits on one side now. They took my rear lic plate frame off and put there's on , the problem with that is my car is silver and had a white plate frame there's is black and looks ugly. I called 3 times now and to talk to upper management or owner of dealer . But just have to keep leavening messages. And no return calls. I font know how new sales are but the service dept. is bad. I suggest stay away. read more

My car is part of the Cobalt recall disaster of '14 with the ignition switch issue. I called on April 23 and ordered my part. Called back multiple times and told it wasn't in yet. I understand that wasn't their fault. So, I called early last week (week of 6/9)and asked for a loaner car if my part was going to be delayed any further. All of a sudden - my part is there! Nice. I should have stayed away. I make an appointment and inform them I have a remote starter. I was told it wasn't a problem. Dropped the car off for service at 8am on Saturday, June 14 and informed the person that took the keys that I had a remote starter on the car. Great. Three hours later - car is ready. Go and get it and try the remote starter. It doesn't work. I walk back in and talk to the person at the desk who gets the manager. Older guy in a suit. He tells me it's an aftermarket remote starter and therefore not his problem. I ask how this is possible since it worked when I dropped it off. He continues to tell me it's not his problem. I call him a few choice words and leave. Except - MY CAR WON'T START. Get the manager again who tries - nothing. He goes to get a tech. It starts. The tech says he's going to check it out. We wait. Wayne, the technician, came back out to talk to us with the name and number for a place i have to go to get the remote starter reset. He apologizes for the issue (THE FIRST PERSON TO DO SO!) and was the only good thing about this place. I now have to go to a different place to have them reset the starter before it can be used. If I hit the button - my car is on lockdown for 5-10 minutes and won't start. I understand that the dealership isn't responsible for making my remote starter line up, especially since it is aftermarket. However, I informed them twice that I had one and was told it wasn't a problem. Then, when I told them it wasn't working, they acted like they had no clue my car had one installed....guess the remote started on the keys I gave them needed a BIGGER NOTE??? The way the manager spoke to me was unacceptable. It's not "his problem" is never something a customer should be told. Bottom line - Wayne, you should go to a different dealership. You don't belong with this group. I will NEVER go here again, and because of this experience and the recalls that GM has been plagued with, I will not be buying a GM. Good luck on continuing to cause your customers pain. read more

2009 Saturn Outlook, 3 weeks ago my truck will remain running after I have taken the key out and the tranny would act as if it was slipping, it would rev up but not go anywhere. I took it to the dealer and they said it was a bad battery, I changed the battery out. Total lost: $170 for the battery, $80 for the Rental, $110 for Diagnostic = $360 for a Battery that, has me right back in the same damn situation. Today it started happening again. How are you a GM dealership but don't know how to analyze and fix a GM vehicle. Oh I get it, Money, Money, Money. read more

This dealership did not do a single thing to meet my expectation. Upon my arriving to my appointment, my salesman Rick Perry, answered a phone call and told the person on the other line he would be free in 30 mins...I thought to myself, "Well I hope I can find the car I want to buy in less than that." I test drove a couple different vehicles (2), neither of which were shown to me, rather the keys were tossed to me, and I was told to: "Drive around for a while because I'll be busy anyway with other people." Although I was baffled by the lack of professionalism, I did find a car I liked and couldn't wait to talk to Rick about the financial details. Upon telling him which car I had preferred, I asked which colors were available, especially being that this was a new 2016 lease option...therefore, colors should be in excess; Of course, Rick was right there to ruin my experience further, by expressing the so-called fact, that they only had black or grey, and if I had wanted a different color, it was going to cost me transfer fees...Disappointed, I chose a color and we negotiated a price, which worked out well for the both of us. I was told to head home and he would call me the following day to come in and pick it up. One day went by, then another, and another, until finally, 5 days later he txt me....that's correct, he txt me. He had sent yet another unprofessional communication, this time in the form of a txt message as if we were girls in high school, not a salesman to a customer. The txt said I would have to come in the following week, rather than the following day, as we had previously discussed. 2 weeks pass, until finally I call him personally-Upset with the lack of communication, as well as the unprofessional posture I had been shown over those weeks. I was told to come in one morning and that everything we discussed was still in effect. I called my work, asked if I could come in late and went to pick up my new car...I arrived when I told Rick Perry I would, 9am-sharp. Still, although he knew I was scheduled to work that day, as well as the fact that he asked me to come in at a specific time, he still had me wait for over an hour, until I finally had the chance to speak to the finance department. This is the part where I finally get pissed-After having me wait for 2 weeks, when it was suppose to be 1 day-After offering me 2 colors when there should've been 13-After txting me, rather than calling-And after we had discussed, settled and agreed on a price, I walked into a room where they told me my only option, if I had wanted this lease vehicle was $275/month...Now that may not seem too bad, however, the price we discussed was less than half of that ($135/month) This dealership is a waste of time, they do not have any tact, intellect, care whatsoever about the people they supposedly wish to do business with, they're simply lazy, uneducated, hypocritical sleazy salesmen. I am a graduate with a business degree, and I can tell you, this business needs an intervention. Although, if they continue to play ball the way they have been, they'll be out of business soon, and they should be. read more

Went there on my day off to take care of my ignition recall and to get a leaky tire fixed. The guy who helped me seemed new and clueless, taking two phone calls while helping me. 45 minutes later, the service manager tells me that their technician cannot find a leak. So it never gets done and I just wasted my time. I bring it to a Walmart and they find and fix it with no problem. From now on, my Impala will be serviced somewhere else. read more

There were many things I liked about this dealership - small- family oriented- friendly ( everyone) and although we had to play the negotiation/ numbers game between Mark/ Gordon... Mark made me feel like they wanted my business- they made me feel like although I couldn't be there n person to negotiate, I was just as important as a person who was there physically- I picked out my car online ( they had great inventory) , called for a quote and within an hour or so I received a call- Gordon's kept me hanging ( which I was surprised) and once Gordon's gave a number- Mark beat it by $100 a month- they kept telling me that no matter what Gordon offers call back- I HATE the number game and was very skeptical and thought for sure it was a trick ( like several of the big Chevy places pull). Nope- they beat it every time and finally I didn't give Gordon's the opportunity to beat Mark- They had earned my business by being honest and treating me like they wanted my business- Ryan M was my salesman- he was nice, funny and easy going- not a slick willy will be back to see them and will refer others to them read more

Went Saturday (5/13/2017) to look at a used truck. Got there and started checking things out. Truck was in good shape for its age but when started up it had check engine light on and service airbag system light/message. When asked it those would be fixed before purchasing they said flat out no, and that I'd be made to sign a waiver for the safety issue of the air bag system not functioning. Now I've been a dealership technician for 13+ years and I know that legally they can not sell a vehicle with safety issues. And they can not make anyone sign a waiver. On top of that, the used car manager stated if they were to fix the air bag system that they would only put in a used impact sensor. If I could score them a 0, I would. It's no wonder they are always hunting for technicians. read more

Poor service. I made an appointment on my first experience for an oil leak and oil change . They changed the oil filter saying it was defective and didn't change my oil. They told me they didn't know I wanted an oil change, and make another appointment . I made another appointment for an oil change and was told I would be out in less than a hour. 2 hours later I was late for work. When I left a bad review they gave me two free oil changes and assured me this is a rare occurrence. 3 rd try I made an appointment a week ahead of time for an oil change and to find a clunking noise in front end. I Told them I only have the one vehicle to fit my family of 7 and the service manager assured me I would have an answer by the end of the day. When I drop my suburban off at 745am I'm told I was only down for an oil change.... really ? The service manager told me himself over the phone I was down for both. I hear nothing for two days and I leave a message at the end of the second day. Half way through day 3 I get a call and I'm told they can't find the noise !! They say bring it back when the noise gets louder and more frequent!!! Really? This Father of 5 doesn't have multiple blocks of days to drop off a vehicle repeatedly for garbage service. Waited over two hours for an oil change. Any other dealership I have went to takes about 45 minutes to an hour. To top that off I had called in advance (THREE TIMES) to verify a part would be available for pick up and was assured it would be here waiting at 8 AM on Saturday morning. Of course when I arrived the part was not in and I was told to come back on Monday (I live 30 minutes away). Will avoid this dealership in the future I suggest you do the same. read more

I bought my 2014 Equinox in November 2013 at Mark. I was very happy with my salesman. I have had all my oil changes since that purchase completed at their service center. They do some kind of check on several of my systems and check them off with a green dot to confirm that "all is good". I started having trouble with my windshield wipers. I mentioned it to my husband, he bought new blades, but never had the time to change them out. I went in for my oil change this past week. The mechanic told me it was recommended to have some kind of a fuel injection flush on it. Something didn't seem right with this, especially at a cost of $109, but I trust them and told him to go ahead an do it. I'm a nurse not a mechanic. I picked my car up, paid the $170 (cost of flush and oil change), and was told everything was good. When I got home and looked over my service order I noticed a bunch of green dots, one on the windshield wipers. I forgot to mention it to the mechanic (was busy thinking I was being snowballed with a fuel flush). I asked my husband when he got home to look at the wipers. A few minutes later he brought in the old one that were torn to a shred. My husband (the welder, not a mechanic), fixed the wipers and all is good. This caused me to be even more suspicious over the flush I paid so much for. Lesson well learned! read more

I took my car in to figure out why it wasn't starting, and it took them a whole day to figure it out. I had to call the center twice, for updates because no one called me as was promised. The very next day, I was called about what the issue was, and that it would take about 2 hours to complete. I didn't get a callback until 4 hours later, and that was to tell me that the part wasn't there yet. So, at this point I asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with a service manager by the name of Rick, and he wasn't helpful at all. He actually sided with the service girl. So, I called back and wanted to speak with the General Manager, his name is Chris Cabana. He was the worst of all, he was very condescending. After, I explained my displeasure with my experience there, he asked me about trading in my car and getting a new one with them. I told him, I don't plan to ever come back his exact words were "why not, you don't like us". I swear to you, at that phone I wanted to scream. I called again and spoke with the receptionist, and said I have spoken with a service manager and the GM, and this is by far the worst experience ever. She gave me to another person, who sold himself as a manager, when in fact I later found out he is a service guy. However, he was the most helpful of everyone I encountered, and that's not saying much. I told him him that Chris Cabana was a condescending jackass over thr phone, and that I would not ever come back to this dealership for service, or to buy a vehicle. After much back and forth he was able to knock of $40.00 off a bill that equaled $340.00. I was so disgusted with that place, I wouldn't recommend anyone go there. Their are many other dealerships in the area that have better service. The only reason I went was because they had GM parts, and I read some decent reviews on goggle. It was by far the worst customer service, I've ever experienced. Please look else where to get your vehicled service, or if you are looking to purchase a used or new one. read more

Let me start off by saying this is my first car I've bought as far as making payments. When I first came to look at cars here they seemed very nice & helpful & honest so after shopping around I ended up choosing to go with them. They were helpful and very responsive & they got me into the car I picked out ... SO I THOUGHT. The first sign was after I told the guy I only wanted to put 1500 down he later calls me and says the bank wants 1000 more. He said that they'd work with me & make the deal happen cause it's the first of the month & they want the deal to happen . I signed paperwork March 1st and drove off with the car . I had a balance of 500 dollars & I was told I can just pay that off later. I paid the balance off and I was told that once I paid it off I'd get my plate. I paid it off & 3 weeks later & STILL NO PLATE, not only that but I didn't know i wouldn't get my plate until I paid the balance off until I asked after a couple of weeks where my plate was. The dealer would simply say "idk that's strange idk why we haven't received it yet" then a couple of days later tells me it's because I had a balance. I let that go & simply paid the balance thinking that I was going to get the plate . After continuously asking about my plate and going up to the dealer I stopped getting answers from the dealer whenever I'd call or text. In result I went to the manager & he is the EXACT SAME he can't give me answers he says "it's something with finance , I'm not finance so idk." After speaking with him the salesperson who sold me the car texted me saying "we are working on a better interest rate for you for the car." I replied asking how can you get another interest rate for me if I already signed my paperwork ? I then got no reply. Then the manager turns around & tells me the same thing! He claims it's taking so long because they're working on a better interest rate for me. This is BS there is NO WAY I should still not have a plate or my paperwork done if I've had the car since MARCH 1st. Then not only is this a problem for almost 80% of March they had my vehicle because of issues with it. After finally getting my car back IT STILL HAS THE SAME PROBLEMS. When I bring things like this up all I get is excuses or they blame someone else. I was told the reason why my car had the problems it had was because they just fired a guy who wasn't doing his job right when servicing the cars that come in before selling them. But they have yet to still fix the problems. For example when I bought the car it pulled to the right. I told them& the explanation I got was because the car has only one new tire and the rest are older so the tread is newer and the car is pulling towards that new tread . The solution they came up with is to use MY INSURANCE to fix something they should have done BEFORE SELLING THE CAR . This is my first car buying experience & it has been pure HELL for me. I have several friends looking for cars & I would NEVER SUGGEST THESE PEOPLE. I've had to call & harass these people as if I owe them something when In reality they owe me. I call this place along with the manager and finance EVERY DAY TWO OR THREE TIMES A DAY & rarely get answers. When I do I get an excuse & then they'll tell me they'll give me a call back and they never do. I wish I would of took my money elsewhere because the car is nice but it isn't worth it. read more

Horrible customer service...wanted an estimate on a trade in and tomfind out how much a certain car was that I was interested in. Mike in used cars was rude and aggrevating. I did not want to go into a vunchnof paperwork until I knew they would deal with me. I was told by Mike to bring my car to him andnhe will move the one I was to test drive. No please, no thank you, just do it. I came back from the test drive to find copiesmof my information sitting on Mike's desk and he was no where around. REALLY!!!! That was strike two. I then said let's skip to triple dog dare and get your manager over here so we can talk instead of going back and forth. Mike didn't like that but went to go and get the manager, as he was doing that he reached across my son and myself and took MY car keys. I thensaid to him" I didn't tell you you could take those put them back.". It took the manager another 5 minutes to get no less than 4 feet to speak to me. He asked what the problem was and I told him about my personal information being left on the desk when no one was there. The manager then had the gaul to say I was sitting there the entire time!!! Strike three! He then wanted to know what he could do, that he would help me. I went to Mike's desk took the copies of my information and walked out the door. I did send an email to the website and responded to a snarky one sent to me by the manager. I do not recommend this dealer. I went to Gordon Chevrolet and had the best experience ever in a car dealership. I came home with the car I wanted, they took my offer first time, ans they were more than happy to say please and thank you. Mark Chevrolet needs to learn a few things from Gordon Chevrolet! read more

i recently purchased a certified used car. i have only had the car since thanksgiving and had to go in twice for repairs, i should not have had to gone in twice, the certified car should have already been checked out before i took it home. they sold me the car with a broken grill, needed new front struts, breaks needed cleaning (they debated with me on cleaning the breaks, almost charged me $90) and the alignment needed to be adjusted. i was honestly disapointed becuase that should have been taken care of before i drove the car home. the second time i took it in for service, i had to call to find out what was going on. i spoke to the tech and told him to check the car from front to end, i did not want to have to go back a third time. makes me wonder how well they really inspect the certified used cars. just really dispointed that i had to take the car in twice. hopefully i wont have to take it back in for service. debting on wheather i want to go back there for my next car or even tell my friends or family to go there for a car. read more
