I took it this time to Quick Lane cause they are basically Ford used cars right next to Atchinson Ford. They know Fords. Without a doubt they were some of the most knowledgeable and straightforward people I have spoken with on the phone in quite some time. It is very hard to find honesty in that business. I have done all my own oil changes for years so it's refreshing to find someone who's honest when you know the answers your listining for. To the extent I actually found myself calling them back even after I disqualified them! I found mysyelf wanting to drive almost 20 miles outside of my way just to give them the business,. ...ie: making an attempt to find a coupon online from Valvoline. Which sadly you cannot use at their location because apparently corporate has screwed them over in the past I cannot blame them for that! it's just a shame because I would have loved to give them my business.

On…read moreAugust 28th, just a few days later, her check engine light came on, so she took the vehicle to the dealership to have it inspected. The dealership found that there was no oil showing on the dipstick and that the gasket had not been installed correctly during the oil change. We contacted GULF Auto, and Mike initially stated that they would reimburse my daughter for the oil change she had paid for on August 24th, as well as whatever costs she incurred at the dealership. However, they are now refusing to pay for anything. I spoke with Trish, who contacted the manager, Sam. We were told that they are not going to pay for anything, despite the issue occurring immediately after their oil change. This is extremely disappointing, especially when dealing with a brand-new vehicle. If you are trusting a shop with your vehicle, you should be able to expect the work to be done correctly and for the business to stand behind its work when something goes wrong. I would not recommend GULF Auto based on this experience. I strongly encourage others to double-check their oil level and the work performed after using this shop.

Moe's Auto is the best…read more I dropped my 2002 Nissan Xterra off at another place called Henry's Auto Service on April 10th in the morning because it was hesitating when I would hit the gas pedal. It was doing this for about 3 weeks and getting worse and more frequent. I was afraid that if I tried to make a left turn and it hesitated like this I could get in an accident. That afternoon they called and told that it's a transmission problem and they do not do transmission work so I have to take it somewhere else. I asked them if they checked the transmission fluid and they said they did. I picked the car up the next day and took it up to Moe's. Moe's had worked on my car previously, over a month prior, and my car wasn't as bad as it was on this day. Moes called me back the same day and told me that I had a small dripping of my transmission fluid and I was about two and a half quarts low on transmission fluid. Imagine how shocked I was because Henry's had told me they checked the transmission fluid, which obviously they did not do. Moe told me that he would fix the dripping but he could not guarantee that it would be a permanent fix. I agreed for him to do the work it was only $150 and I have been driving my car ever since and it is running perfect it actually has a lot more pep than it has had in a while. Moe did explain to me that if this did not work I would probably need a used transmission and it would run $2,300 parts and labor. About a month or more before this instance took my car to Moe's because I was driving it and I lost my power steering my brakes and gas pedal did not work. I took it to Moe's and he call me the same day and told me he thought it could be the distributor but then in the afternoon he called me back and said that I need a new timing belt. He had it done within 2 days and it worked excellent. The thing that I like the most about Moe's is they treated me with respect. I'm a 71-year-old lady and I really appreciated that they were honest with me they did not BS me like Henry's and other shops have done and they get back to me on everything and ask before they do any work. Very respectful clientele. I highly recommend them for everybody they will not be dishonest and their prices are affordable and their work is the best. Another good thing about this shop is he has a lot of mechanics on board and he's open way more days than most other repair shops are.
