I knew that the tooth could use a crown but might not have to have one if there was no decay under the remainder of the existing filling. I intentionally sought out a smaller practice with conservatives signage. This office is right across from the post office and I just walked in and inquired. Nothing fancy but I wasn't looking for fancy. I was looking for unpretentious and non-greedy quality care. Many practitioners now consider pushing the most expensive options on patients as quality care because after all aren't they helping them prevent any possible surprises? But I don't choose to drive around in an armored tank and not every tooth needs to be crowned that has a large filling. In fact, the filling that lost a piece had been in there for 30 years and the tooth could've used a crown at that time. The difference in price of the filling and the crown is several hundreds of dollars. Getting dental work done is never lots of fun but Dr. Atchenson was gentle and it was painless dentistry. He and his staff did a great job at a fair price and I'm greatly appreciative.

I came out with a clean bill of health on my teeth just some initial cosmetic work on a small chip in my front tooth. Husband needed a lot of work, extraction, crown and bone graph but they took good care of him and gave us up front cost before we even started. Luckily they're a preferred provider with our insurance. I couldn't say more about the level of care and compassion given here because I hate dental work of any kind. Unfortunately my husband's stitches came out 2 days later and the bone graph didn't take?? I don't know what is the problem because we're back to see I will update the progress.

I have hated all things dentist for years. Recently, I had to have a root canal immediately. My…read moredentist got me in with Dr. Reed at Flathead Endodontics and I was completely wowed. Dr. Reed and his whole staff are such kind and compassionate people. During the procedure, Dr. Reed was very kind and friendly. He made sure I was completely out of pain before beginning the procedure, and it was the fastest root canal I've ever had - he was finished in an hour and a half. No second appt to "finish up" like I've had in the past, where I had to go through the whole process of getting "numbed up," etc. Additionally, while I was undergoing the root canal, he and the assistant Bailey, who was new, talked about how great the other doctors were. Not in a cheesy, "we're trying to impress the new patient" kind of way, but in a sincere attitude of mutual respect. How refreshing in this cynical world! Bailey was very sweet and friendly, as was Jerilee, the receptionist. I highly recommend this office if you ever need an endodontist.
