I almost didn't come here because of the negative reviews about the staff but nothing could be less true. I thought they were all so friendly. The staff are wonderful and you can joke with them too. Dr.Forman is a board certified podiatrist who has a wonderful bedside manner. I have a fungas in (2) toes from pedicures and I am having a hard time getting rid of them and painful. I will not get pedicures again although he recommends the brand of nail polish called "Butter" (never heard of it) but will try it out. It was easy to get in to see him although the office has limited hours but he is worth it. He has a pleasant smile. He is gentle how he touches your feet too. The only thing is he recommends prescription strength Biotin which is $50.00 per month which seems expensive for a vitamin and another prescription copay is $75.00. I didn't start on either yet. Interesting I had my hair done today and a hair customer and I both were raving about Dr. Forman. A shout out to this wonderful facility and its staff. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Forman's for several years. Dr. Forman and his entire staff has consistently been attentive to my ankle and foot needs consistently. I was always greeted warmly. The entire staff has been highly responsive. I've been treated for Achilles tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, and gout. Every time I went in for treatments, the staff was able to see me quickly, there were minimal wait times in the lobby, and my symptoms and conditions were explained in English so that I could understand them and learn from them. I travel a lot. I've had issues with my feet while out of town, and the staff was attentive to me through conference calls and over the phone and made helpful recommendations until I could get back into town to be seen. I have been a patient of Dr. Forman for many years. I was recently in the office to get a cortisone shot in my left foot, since I will start doing trade shows. I stand all day at trade shows and I have issues with my left foot. The cortisone shot makes standing all day bearable. read more

I can't gush enough about Dr. Forman and his staff. The receptionist to the nurse and billing, the ladies are all super fantastic. I've known their services since I work in the same building but never needed to use them. At was, until I had an unfortunate incident from a pedicure gone to the wayside, I needed their immediate attention. They squeezed me in and made me feel at ease despite the excruciating pain of my toe bleeding and getting an infection. Trust me, it's not a pretty sight. Dr. Forman demonstrated knowledge without the stuffiness of most doctor patient conversations. He walked me through the steps and explained everything so easily understandable to a terrified patient. He's really kind and wonderful. And my attending nurse was just stellar. She made me feel so calm despite watching big needles go into my toe. I have to say if you ever are in need of a foot doctor, this is the place to be. Hands down the best service provider. While I am not happy having to forsake my heels while my foot heals, I couldn't imagine anyone else tending to my injury...proof that cats don't land on their feet but Dr. Forman and his staff will get you back there soon enough. Their front desk receptionist (lady) was so mean it made your new patient to be cry. We left this office and will never go back! This mean staff lady needs to be taught a lesson on proper etiquette manners. Listen Before Speaking - Respect for others is a requirement of good manners. Listening to others is a way to show respect. Be genuinely interested in others; learn their names, and encourage them to talk about themselves. Never interrupt. Look them in the eye, and listen carefully. Any doctor that allows their staff to be this disrespectful should be a concern to all other potential patients. I think Dr. Forman is a good podiatrist. However, his front office receptionist is terrible. She is rude and tries very hard to not be helpful in any way. It was almost impossible to make a follow-up appointment. She kept asking me what the appointment was for. I told her that it was a follow-up to my last appointment. Dr. Forman had asked to to schedule a follow-up. Julie told me that she could not schedule an appointment until I told her specifically what the appointment was for. That is only one example. Crazy. Dr Forman performed surgery to straighten 2 crooked toes caused by a bunion. Surgery was performed in his office under a local. I'm now 4 weeks post-op and couldn't be happier! it was minimally invasive surgery and an easy recovery. Dr Forman and his entire staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Unbelievably rude receptionist! All I tried to do was make an appointment and she said she was in charge of all the decisions and I was required to 'do it her way'! She was very cold and unfriendly when I asked if I could get in any time in the near future. "Give me All your information first, then we'll talk about it". I have had issues with my feet for years due to my job and I am VERY particular about the podiatrist. Not just the Dr but also the staff since you are working with them as much as the Dr in most cases. I needed a new podiatrist as my former one retired recently. I was recommended to Dr Forman from a coworker. Right off the bat I found his office to be professional and efficient. The front desk took all of my info first to make sure my insurance was accepted and made sure I gave them a clear explanation of why I needed to see Dr Forman. Much appreciated on my end since I do not want to go in and find out they cannot help me. I spoke with a lady named Julie and she was very professional in what she needed from me and why she needed it. On my appt day the front desk staff was so kind and helped calm my nerves while I waited to se the Dr. Tracey the nurse was fabulous. She listened to my issues and helped me explain to the Dr. Dr. Forman is wonderful and so kind and caring. He carefully went through my options for relief for my feet. I just have to pick which way to go now. I will be back soon. I completely recommend this office and Dr if you have any medical needs for your feet. The lady on the phone was extremely rude when I called her to tell her I was running 5 minutes behind and told me I would have to reschedule my preop when I was scheduled to have surgery the following day. There was zero attempt for them to reschedule the surgery and when I called them back the following week she turned it on me and said I was the rude one and was told they would not reschedule my surgery. I had a bad taste in my mouth about the staff from the beginning and should have followed my instinct. Look elsewhere! Terrible practice. read more

Dr. Forman has been treating me for almost two years. I have had him treat me for Ingrown Toenails, Cortisone Shots and he did a phenomenal job on my Bone Spur Surgery. This was done in his office using a Minimal Invasive technique so I had hardly any downtime. He was kind enough to come in over the weekend to deal with a injury I got and removed over 30 cactus needles from my foot as well as treated me for a wound. Went to see Dr Mark Forman dpm last week for my bunions . His staff was pleasant punctual and when I met Dr. Forman he explained all tests and X-rays and unlike other podiatrists he was not anxious to do bunion surgery on me since my pain level without meds is 2-3. He made suggestions the other podiatrists I saw did not . He is professional knowledgeable honest and cares about his patients . I've had foot problems throughout my life and seen many podiatrists but Dr. Mark Forman is the best one I've seen to date. I came to Dr. Forman for his assistance on my foot and ankle that was broken last year from a high fall. Dr. Forman has a very outgoing and professional demeanor. Very gregarious and mentally sharp. I like the mentally sharp part. He went over hospital X-rays and X-rays he took in detail with me. These were much appreciated. Most of all he comes across as very knowledgeable in his area of expertise in foot remolding and orthotics. He designed the best, most comfortable and effective orthotics I've ever worn. That speaks volumes on itself. He graduated from one of the top schools in podiatry and furthered his education by taking addition training in the latest advances. Dr. Forman is cutting edge. While all the surgeons recommended surgery, he told me that surgery would not help my situation. And I saw at least 3 surgeons on the matter. He recommended foot remolding instead of surgery. If a doctor recommends surgery on your foot, at least see Dr. Forman to get a second opinion. Surgery can cause lifelong problems on your foot. Wait time for appointment was usually less than 5 minutes except on first visit where they had to check the insurance. Fastest I've seen. Receptionist is very nice. Dr. Forman saved me much pain and headache. I consider him to be one of the best doctors out there. read more

Really a pleasure to see a podiatrist who doesn't try to sell you therapies not covered by insurance and not proven to provide relief. After two unsuccessful visits to urgent care, Dr. Forman and his staff actually dealt with my problem. He didn't just prescribe a pill but actually cleaned out my infection. Recently moved to North Scottsdale, I am establishing myself with new physicians. A good, local podiatrist was on my list. Clearly Dr. Forman qualifies. Wish that I could comment on an exam/treatment with Dr. Forman. I could not get past the nasty receptionist on the phone who grilled me about my insurance apparently to determine my financial qualifications before making an appointment to see Dr. Forman. That is the impression that this person made. Perhaps this medical practice is not inclined to assist senior citizens?? Not an asset to this medical practice. Medicare & supplemental insurance aside, I am more than capable of paying privately but this person just could not or would not get off of the insurance topic! She was argumentative & insulting after I reviewed my carrier with her. When the conversation was not going her way she hung up the phone saying, "I'm going to hang up now". Perhaps she had a bad day, you think? That said, no one deserves to be treated poorly. Fortunately I do no have an urgent need & booked with another podiatrist. People employed by a medical office should understand when functioning in a service environment, the physician is only as good as his last patient. Patients are customer's and pay the wages of all employee's in a medical practice. Potential new patient beware! This gal needs a lesson in manners & customer service recovery! Perhaps she will read this review and rethink her behavior! Or in the very least will address her abysmal public persona and begin to treat potential new patients regardless of age with kindness & respect. After really hurting my foot during a rec. soccer game I decided not to wait and look for a podiatrists. I looked on yelp and couldn't find much for once so I googled my local area and found this location. They have 3 I had Dr. Bates. This was my first visit to a podiatrist. It's strange for me to say this matters but when most offices in Scottsdale seem like a resort, at times going to a "medical plaza" that seems straight out of the 80s is a little disturbing. Should he change his location, I'd probably give 5 stars but after visiting another podiatrist there was a clear gap in small things like technology that can matter more to some (like myself) than others. Dr Bates and his staff were friendly. They have an onsite xray room and it's probably convenient for most people. I would have continued to visit and would still recommend Dr. Bates had I not found Dr. Richer who I feel even more comfortable with. read more

Super friendly and helpful office. Made an appt less than 24 hrs ahead of time (for a painful ingrown toenail) and was seen as soon as I walked in the office. The doctor is personable and did not harass me for choosing to get pedicures and paint my toenails! Dr. Forman is one of the best doctors I've seen since living in AZ. The wait from check-in to seeing the dr. is always less than 10 minutes and usually right away. The staff is very friendly as is Dr. Forman. I came to him with a cyst on the top of my foot, which turned out to be from a broken bone that also tore my tendon (resulting in the cyst). After chemo, my big toe nail started falling off it was so painful and infected. Dr. Forman knew exactly what to do and now 2 weeks later my toe is not infected and the new nail is growing back. I had a bunion and two hammer toes all on the same foot. Wearing shoes was becoming more and more difficult and extremely painful with the passing of each day. If I didn't do something soon, flip-flops were going to be my only shoes. When I spoke to my Primary Care doctor about having this surgery, he really discouraged me because he said it was a very painful operation and it came with no guarantees​. I waited as long as I could before deciding to go ahead with the procedure. Dr. Forman came highly recommended to me. I had the surgery and he sent me home with pain pills. I never took a single pill. Each passing day, I would wonder if today is the day that I will begin to be in pain. That day never arrived. Dr. Forman knows and uses the latest techniques to make sure that his patients get the very best care and the very best results. I am now back to wearing all my shoes and six weeks after the surgery, I was able to return to tennis. He is a wonderful surgeon!! read more
