The staff here were fantastic so helpful in the gift shop, and our tour guide was cute with all her cheesy jokes. great tour and lots of fun. This is a dry cave, so there no stalagmites or stalactites, but it's still amazing. It does stay a brisk 52 degrees, so a sweatshirt is a must, in my opinion. The walking is easy a little uneven at times, but it's also a cave. Great family activity.

We had a great experience! Really interesting place. Braden and Karlee went out of their way to show us a great time! So accommodating! Highly recommend

Drove to Hannibel and took the City tour from here. This is my second trip to Hannibel and this time no cave but Bobbie on the tour was funny, informative. Was able to see a side on Hannibel we would not have if we didn't take the tour. It is an open air trolley thru the historic downtown to parks, Lovers Leap and more. Well worth the hour or so on it.

    Too many trees!

A basic campground with helpful and friendly staff that is expensive for what is provided. The roads and sites need maintenance since many large puddles with almost no gravel were present after rain and anything touching the ground was covered with mud. I asked for a site with no trees, but got stuck in one with so many that Starlink would not work. Interesting area for history buffs.

" The Film is Different Than The Tour " We visited the Mark Twain Cave and saw a film about the cave before we did the tour. When we took the the cave tour we did not see some of the colors or water falls. But we did see graffiti on the cave walls and we did not see cool colors etc. It was a little disappointing when we went on the tour . All in All it was just OK !

Super nice place to visit. Kids like it! Whole town is likable, nice restaurants and places to chill out.

This cave may not be filled with spectacular stalactites and other formations, but it is rich in history, since it is the cave from the Tom Sawyer novel (and four other Mark Twain books). Walking through its labyrinthian passageways really brings the book into focus, and the guides do a great job of identify various locations mentioned in the book. It's a very easy cave to traverse, with flat floors, no steps, and no climbing. It's also a cool 52 degree respite on a hot summer day, so bring a jacket!

Our tour guide Michael? Maybe, I forgot. But he was amazing. High schooler very energetic, knew a lot about the cave and the history. His puns were also top notch. We went during the winter and it was 1° the whole time but the cave was very warm. Great for all year round.

Fun & easier to traverse than most caves. Paved and only one could be a problem. Stairs & you can skip those.

If you like having wine for your event at a rustic place, this place is perfect! Update: 2 days after, we came back for a friend's wedding. There is a big parking lot and entrance & exit ways are separate so people can drive easily without confusion! Bathrooms are also separated, they are in a small building next by. This place is like a little village that has everything needed for any event like a wedding! Also the Manager was so helpful and I can tell, she is a very organized person and she made sure everything is going perfect and she was smiling all the time. :) It was a beautiful october night, the ceremony took place on the bluffs by the vineyard. There is a big log house by the bluffs for wedding family, so they can have their own privacy before the ceremony. (Btw, walking in stilettos can be challenging since the area is all grassy and soil) After the ceremony, we walked to the 2 story barn to attend the cocktail, and had their complimentary hot apple cider, was delicious. Then we headed to upstairs to have wedding dinner and after party. This place can handle more than 100 people. Very neat and clean. Service was perfect.

Totally blew me away…read more I moved back to the area almost three years ago, but had not come to WPW. Then recently, I found out that my 50th class reunion was going to be held there. Hearing that news, I knew it was time to come and check it out. When I arrived mid-afternoon on a Sunday, I was shocked how large the venue was and how full the parking lot was. I quickly realized, Wild Pickens Winery is a hot spot and the place to be seen on weekends. They have a fairly extensive wine menu, it was larger then what I was expecting. I enjoyed two glasses of Cabernet and was impressed with its robust flavor. When my server told me, all glasses of wine were $7, my frugal personality smiled. To my surprise they had an extensive menu. I was expecting a very simple menu of only a few items, but they had it all. Their menu had entrees, burgers and wood fired pizzas. I had eaten brunch earlier so I wasn't that hungry, but wanted to try something. I ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms and they hit the spot. They were stuffed with spinach, cream cheese and parmesan. The order came with three good sized mushrooms, so it would be perfect for one or sharing. They had a band playing in the main room inside and the music was super loud. Friends that I ran into there, told me in good weather the band is outside and makes for a more enjoyable listening experience. The loud music is why they only got a 4 Star rating. The service was small town, down home country friendly. WPW is only open Thursday thru Sunday and I'll definitely be back. I gotta come back and try one of their wood fired pizzas.

We were immediately greeted by the owner, Todd, who was behind the bar servicing customers. He took the time to thank all of us for coming in and shook each of our hands. Todd, separated us from the dry wine drinkers to the sweet wine drinkers, sharing with us his top recommendations for each category. Unanimously! We all enjoyed the blueberry wine the most. We all literally bought a bottle! LOL. Todd had to leave us for other duties, but left us in the care of his staff. These ladies were great and fun. After our wine tasting, we sat to order food. We ordered the meat lovers and the loaded baked potato pizza and a few side salads to share. Never thought of a baked potato as a pizza, but this was sooo good!! The food in general was delicious, fresh, and made to order. The winery itself was super cute. The outside seating area was packed with folks, rocking out to some live music. The inside seating area was surprisingly very large. A large dining space with a separate event space and video gaming area. Thank you Todd for welcoming us and thanks to your team for helping to make our experience enjoyable. We look forward to visiting you all again!
