    Clean bathrooms

The campground is clean and well maintained with full service sites to primitive camp sites. 4-5 bar free WiFi throughout the park. Clean bathrooms. Laundry (also severe weather shelter). Lots of old growth trees for shade and some spots with no shade if that's what you want. Very nice playground. Lighted Pavilions. Walk to the cave, gift shop, trolley tour and winery. Uniformed, friendly, professional staff. Gift shop prices were reasonable. Our families stay here often.

    Tent site

This camping site is pretty much the only one close to town. It has nice big trees that make good shade for tent camping. From what it looked like all the campers and RV were super close together but the tent sites were nice a big with good grass and lots of shade. The fire pits are a bit of a pain. I get that it might be safe and convenient but they are these huge tall bowls. You hardly get any warmth from them and if you want a nice big fire you have to have a lot of fire wood. This campsite isn't like a KOA with amenities but that is okay we were camping just to pass through town. Good price for what it was!

We had called many times just to be left on hold for 10-15 minutes at a time, which i understand but not only that my family had nothing to do at a place where there's activity's every hour. Not only that the employees were driving like maniacs and almost hit our family a couple times when going around the lake, but they are so understaffed. Maybe if they got their staff under control my family would actually enjoy and want to spend our money here.i wouldn't recommend coming in on a thursday nothing to do and kids will be upset and bored.

I really wanted to like this place. I loved the idea of a Jellystone yogi bear campground. The kids…read moreliked it. The new splash area is really really cool. My main complaint is the cleanliness. I know it's a campground but with shared bathrooms they need to be cleaned way more often and probably hourly. The door knob fell off when I tried to go to the bathroom and it's clear to me that's not a new issue. I for sure did not break it, It just fell off at the touch. The activities are fine but I think I'd rather try a different jellystone next time. I'm editing and adding one more star because we really did have a lot of fun and Cindy's birthday party was a blast.

They gave me a 10% off discount for being a veteran. Check in is at the coffee house counter. The person working the day of our arrival was friendly, kind and professional and made the process simple and easy. Navigation into the park is a bit tricky, as it sits on a fast moving truck route highway so caution is advised. GPS takes you past the entrance and requires a Uturn when traveling from the east. If you turn at the cross over exit just before the uturn it takes you right into the park. Making entrance much easier. Gravel packed roads throughout the park are a little tight in places. A long pull through with FHU and shade trees on both sides of our rig. Split utilities, water on one side with power and drainage on the other. It made hooking up a bit more complicated but we made it work. Relatively level gravel site, a little on the thin side. I had to adjust my rig a couple times to get it where the slides could be opened all the way. Once I got the rig squared into the site it was okay. We could not open our main awning all the way because of a close tree lower branches. We adjusted again and made it work. This park has river frontage on the Salt river, which made for a nice break floating on the river one day. There are a lot of outside activities here, tetherball, volleyball, rental kayvaks, an outdoor music stage, walking trails, a boat ramp and the then river itself. Our site was fairly comfortable for our visit, the shade trees made a huge difference. There are a lot of long term campers in this park, so spaces are limited for overnight and pass through travelers. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. The highway noise is significant at the front of the property. Where we were, you could here trucks going by all night. Ear plugs or white noise is necessary to cancel the road noise out at night. 3.5 Stars rounded up for the kind desk staff and working with me to adjust our stay 01309

For the price we paid we could have gotten a clean, bigger, quieter, and pet friendly VRBO and still gotten tickets to the rundown water park that anywhere else in the country would have been shutdown. My families advice: stay else where. Tent camping would have been more comfortable than the hard mattress on the floor with unfinished 1x4s (may not be the correct size) for "trim" and pulled up floor boards. See our pics.

Our cabin for one night that ended up being over $400 after we had to keep paying for passes because we went to check in and they said our 6 person cabin didn't include our children. They said all the activities and amenities where included for the kids but they wanted the kids to pay $10 a person to also do that. Forgot to add check in is at 4pm but the pool closes at 6pm. Pool opened this morning at 10am but have to be checked out and gone by 11am. We will not be back. There's no hot water in our shower in our $350 cabin, there's no tv in our cabin like advertised, shower house showers are also cold. The bathrooms and lockers room to the pools smell like everyone has been peeing on the floor and there's an inch of nasty water on the floor. The kid pool/ frog slide had algae growing all over it and the water spout that was suppose to be coming out of the top of it was laying on the floor. The pool floor was slimy. This place place is disgusting. Tj called and spoke to a lady and she told him that she'd cancel our reservation but we wouldn't be getting our money back. Blood on the pillows, smells like mold as soon as you walked in our cabin, then found black mold growing on the wall, pubes on the toilet, bugs everywhere, and just dirty. Our friends had to clean the toilet before they could use it in the general store. Everyone please share so no one wastes their money like we did. We spent way too much for this disgusting place. I've tried calling calling calling to take this up with someone but no one can call me back or answer the phone.
