AMBER G. PART 2 First review was too long…read more 2. Karim Improperly Conducts a Final Walk Through a. May 1st 2021 we conducted a final walk through of the home. I had just mopped the living room floor and the hallway floor. We entered through the front door and viewed the living room together (which is where he made the comment that we were tracking dirt into the home), viewed the kitchen together, viewed the back yard together, viewed the 1st bedroom together, viewed the 1st bathroom together and I watched him peek through the master bedroom. He asked that we exit the home because were tracking dirt through the floors. He asked if I had wipes and I said no. He went to his car to grab some wipes. He went back into the home to clean the dirt we tracked in by putting the paper towels under his feet. He was in there for about 5 minutes. When he exited the home he made a comment that I needed to put the trash cans in the street. So I did. He stated that the small kitchen trashcan and mop I put at the curb would most likely not get picked up. That was the only issue he mentioned. He said everything looked good and we parted ways. I had two other family members present with me and not once did he did not mention any deficiencies beside the kitchen trashcan and the mop. b. May 17 2021 I received my deposit back. I assumed the reimbursement for the days I did not have hot water would be included in the check but it was not. I texted Karim today asking him about that money and stated that the house was dirty and that I would not receive that money. I asked him what was dirty. He showed me a photo of the small mudroom (which you walk through when entering the front door), the fire place in the living room, and the kitchen trash can and mop left behind. I was aware of the trashcan and mop and take responsibility for that however, this was the first time Karim communicated with me about a dirty floor and the fireplace which had ash on the brick flooring of the fireplace (which I was not allowed to use because the gas company stated it was unsafe to use and that it could cause a fire). I have attached the photos he sent me on YELP for reference. In my opinion, it does not cost 300 dollars to clean that small floor space. I then asked him why he did not point this out during the walkthrough and he stated that he was unable to inform me because "we were unable to do a final walkthrough because the floor was wet". This statement is not true. Karim and I walked through the front door together and viewed the living room where he found the deficiencies. Karim willfully lied for reasons unknown. Furthermore, it is unclear to me why Karim failed to mention this on May 1st because if he did it would have taken me 5 minutes to clean the small amount of debris for him. Lastly, it is unclear to me why Karim chose not to mention this at any time between May 1st and May 17th. I challenged his irrational logic and grotesque lie by asking him the aforementioned questions but was ignored. It is now 10pm and Karim has yet to respond. I could care less about the money. It is the principal that matters in these particular situations. His inability to resolve the hot water issue in a timely manner, the grotesque lie about not being able to communicate to me the deficiencies within the home (because according to him the floor was too wet) when in fact we walked through the very room he found the two issues in, claiming that it cost 300 dollars to clean a small amount of debris that would have taken him or I 5 minutes to clean, and his inability to communicate to me that he would not be reimbursing me for the days I had no hot water. I am not disappointed about not receiving the money. I am disappointed on how he handled the entire situation unfairly. I do not recommend that anyone hire him as a property manager until he can rectify his behavior. This review is written from an objective point of view and is solely based on facts.

Starting with the consulting…read moreappointment, it was definitely different than other appointments that we had in the past since it was virtual, yet, Karim took the time to explain the whole home buying process and walk us through the paperwork even before we started looking at houses, he explained all the contingencies that we will have during the escrow process and even provided an explanation of what to expect after we have bought a home (when his job was technically complete) . One of the main qualities that we appreciated in Karim is that he is honest. He's straight forward in his advice and if he sees a property as a no-go he will let us know right away. He was always available to talk and answer any questions that we had and was always prompt in sending us potential homes to visit and was efficient in booking appointments that fit our schedule. Once we found a home he was always present in the discussions with the seller and helped negotiate a great deal on our behalf. Also, Karim has a great network of support functions (ex: lender, home insurer, appraiser and interior designer) that are very efficient in providing their services during and after the home buying process and it really makes it a great one-stop-shop experience. Overall karim was great to work with and we're glad that we now have a go-to top agent and a friend.

At the beginning everything was fine. We have always been amazing tenants and have many letters of recommendation. All the owners at the property have offered us to buy the place but unfortunately the property needs more extensive repair that it outweighs the price. We have never lapsed or had any issues with rent. The staff over the years got very rude. They would blame us for nonsense that had nothing to do with us because the HOA would mistakenly send us letters that would be for the neighbor in front. We had gotten into so many arguments with HOA to correct their mistakes but of course they are useless just like Mission Realtors. We advised Mission Realtors that we had nothing to do with what went on with the neighbor's disputes of HOA violations and were meet with an awful attitude to fix the issue when nothing in our end needed fixed. If something needed fixed, we always did right away. When major stuff needed fixed, they would act bothered and argue about fixing anything. Typical greedy landlord who just awaits the nice check for overpriced rent and fix nothing. The property unfortunately got vandalized during the holidays and I remember I called the emergency number to seek advice after authorities were called. Instead of them being worried we were met with anger about why we were calling the emergency number. I was told by Cindy that she was at her Christmas party and that we shouldn't be bothering calling because it was interrupted. Just proves that they would rather enjoy their lavish parties and who cares about the tenants? They worry about their lavish lifestyle and seeing their nice check coming in instead of being professional. Good riddance we don't deal with them anymore. Very unprofessional and rude. Pat and Cindy are the worst. Hope they get the same awful treatment as awful as they are. Overall STAY AWAY. Very hostile and rude. I don't know why they are still in business. Wish they would close and be replaced by someone more professional. Close them down!

I had a signed lease agreement that was wrongfully voided after the fact. I submitted my security deposit and first month's rent exactly as instructed -- first via Venmo, then by cashier's check after they abruptly changed their payment method. Despite fully complying, they refused my payment and canceled the lease without a valid reason. The pattern of their actions made it clear to me: I was denied this lease because I am a Black man. The experience felt deliberate, deceptive, and discriminatory -- a blatant example of unfair housing practices that no one should ever have to endure. Their conduct caused serious emotional distress, wasted valuable time, and revealed a complete lack of professionalism, ethics, and accountability. If you value fair, lawful, and respectful treatment, I strongly urge you to avoid this Remax office. What I experienced was not only wrong -- it was discriminatory and unacceptable.
