After double bypass open heart surgery (CABG) at EIRMC performed by Dr. Riveron with assistance from Logan Cutts, normally the cardiologist would do followup, but Dr. Riveron was a visiting physician helping out for a week. I had the pleasure of having Logan Cutts do my followup for the next ten weeks. The first post hospital followup had Logan enter the room, glance at his notes, and say "Lose 20 pounds." Not a suggestion, a statement. His kind, but blunt statements were impactful and effective. (I've lost 25 pounds since then.) I had significant blood pressure issues after that and Logan adjusted my bp meds to keep it in line. He also advised me on cardiac rehab, saying I should delay it until other rehab could be done. His manner was friendly, informative, and calming during a tough time. While in the hospital, I heard many times - "Logan? Everyone knows and likes Logan!" After ten weeks, I had found and had one visit with my new cardiologist (my previous one had retired), so Logan passed me on giving me best wishes and continued health. So I went about it the old fashion way, I picked up the phone and started interviewing the people answering the phone for these doctors. This office was by far the best! The lady who answered the phone was friendly, informative and inviting. I love that the doctor was in business over 25+ years. We were able to get in the same day. The rates were very comparable to every other office I called. The office visit: the place is clean and adequate for a chiropractors office. I'm a stickler for restrooms at any place I go to. The good news, the restroom was spotless. The pride in ownership was evident. The actual adjustment: my son was the patient. His back had been bothering him for weeks after a snowboarding crash. Dr Mayo was great at explaining everything to him and easing his mind as to the issues. We left after about 30 minutes including the stimulus treatment he recommended as well. He is on the way to recovery and will be seeing this office regularly. Thank you very much for the visit today. My wife and I had several visits with a bad one 4 years ago. A bad one can literally destroy your spine! My wife was very active and in good overall health when we went in for routine care. After a few visits she was clearly not responding well, so that Dr said that she simply needed more adjustments. After a few more visits I took her to Doctor Moss for a second opinion. Doctor Moss saw right away that there was a serious problem and said "You need to get some imaging, something isn't right.". The imaging showed several herniated disks with her C4,5 so badly damaged that it had to be replaced. She's been predominantly bedridden since then because of unbearable nerve pain. The other chiropractor would have continued "care" until my wife was paralyzed or dead. I say that because he saw the same symptoms and kept twisting her spine while Doctor Moss saw it once and recognized that there was a problem. My wife and I both accredit Doctor moss with literally saving her life that first visit. Doctor Moss is a rare find. He does not force everything to Crack and send you off. I would not recommend Jones Family Medicine…read more It is very difficult to get a prescription filled. Multiple calls to the office try and stop by no one is at the office. He is not even always there during office hours. A very frustrating experience. And then there's billing, just got 2 bills in the mail from service provided over a year ago. And 2 more bills that I had already paid that I had to show receipts that they had already been paid. I always pay my bills and on time, wish this had been a different outcome, I would never recommend his office with this service.
