From the moment we entered this dealer (which was highly recommended to us by friends who had their 22 footer worked on) we were treated as we were family. The sales person, Angelo a really funny guy with a great deal of knowledge and understanding, knew exactly what we were looking for. They don't try to push you into something that is just not right for you. He led us to a 2013 Tidewater with Yamaha engine. It was like Cinderella and the glass slipper, it fit us and our needs to a fault. Then came the hard part, Fausto the finance manager took our trade and application and in no time had us financed with very reasonable rate. It really only took a couple of hours and we where off the great big blue and a new Tidewater 20 footer. We spend the next few days either on the water or preparing to go out. This has been by far the best experience I have ever had in purchasing any type of vessel. I highly recommend The Marine Collection.

From the get go he has been very dishonest with me about the condition of the boat as well as the mechanics of the engine. These are the first impressions I got from him, how am I to trust him about anything else related to purchasing a boat. Another thing is I cannot find him as a licensed broker nor is he attached to lifestyle marine as a broker/ employee. Many red flags about this man. I would caution anyone that has dealing with him. I've dealt with many very professional brokers in my years of purchasing boats/ being in the industry, he doesn't hold anything compared to the honest brokers I've met.

My experience with Angel, the owner, was a complete nightmare…read more After dropping off my boat for service, I was promised updates on costs, but communication quickly fell off. I went two weeks without any word, and when I finally heard from him four weeks later, it was an excuse about back surgery, something which he could of let me know in advanced but instead choose to ghost me. By week six, the bill was an outrageous $5,500 with no prior estimate. I paid it, hoping the repairs were done, but upon testing the boat, the motors wouldn't start. After bringing it back, I faced overheating issues and was promised a follow-up trip to ensure everything was fixed. Despite this, Angel had the audacity to send me another invoice for accompanying me to the marina. After I had gone 3x to test the boat after his "service". The prices he charged were ridiculous, and every other shop I've consulted agrees. This was my first boat, and unfortunately, I learned the hard way. I hope my experience saves someone else from making the same mistake.
