I went from "nervous" to "wannabe Fast & Furious: Ocean Drift edition" in about 3 minutes. I was out there ripping through the waves like Miami Vice had called me in for backup. At one point, I'm pretty sure I hit a speed that legally requires a cape and theme music. Was I graceful? No. Did I accidentally scream every time I hit a wave and caught a little air? Absolutely. Was it the most fun I've had while still wearing a life vest and gripping onto dear life? Also yes. So this marina has location and a lot of slips available going for them. Other than that it is highly overrated. For this price point the service & amenities leave a lot to be desired. We were on hold over 15 minutes to reserve our slip & our dock attendant who did a good job helping us fasten our lines told us he hated his job. The marina showers were disgusting with literally a dead lizard on the floor and panty liner wrappers on the wall with no blow dryer or towels. The pool wasn't available for use. The pilings to the slips are shared on both sides with only one cleat so all the lines are entangled. When one boat goes to leave they literally untie your boat to get to theirs. If you are not on your boat at that time and there are winds serious damage can be done to your boat. read more

positive - I stopped for fuel and water here a month ago before sailing to the Bahamas and again today when I returned. both times I had great service at the fuel station. Negative - Both times I asked about a landing fee for my tender and was told it was $20 and not a big deal. I came in to land where I was told, dropped off my daughter and luggage and was told it was a 40' minimum fee (my tender is 15') at $3.50 a foot. That's $149.50 for 10 minutes. Great customer service told me I can load back up and leave and not pay that price. Forget that I was told twice at $20. They will tell you that this is only under many different circumstances. Really a pretty good very clean marina with a friendly, helpful staff and decent amenities. Though most of the boats here are larger, meaning bigger than 42', smaller boats are welcome too. The best things I like about it are its location right on South Pointe of South Beach and the many nearby dining establishments. Monty's, a fun restaurant with a good bar and a pool is right at the end of the dock and a Texas de Brazil just adjacent to it. You're also within easy walking to the likes of Joe's Stone Crab or if you'd like to get some great food to take back aboard, Joe's Take Away, both just over at 11 Washington Avenue. There is absolutely no problem with plenty of good places to eat and drink, just hit your Yelp App and you'll practically find yourself to be surrounded with them. The one thing to be cautious of if you come moor here is the marina rules. They do have transient berthing but if you just stop by to tie up, especially "on season" you have to be aware of where to dock or tie up, as varying fees and charges may apply. Also if you have a small boat and want to fill your tank with 15 gallons or less, you'll be charged a minimum of $10/gallon!!!! And, unless you know where to go or what you are doing, varying fees that can border on the line of being outrageous may apply for tying up or merely picking up or discharging passengers without even tying up. Also, when coming in by boat, be wary. Follow the rules of the road especially on Government Cut as it is swarming with Coast Guard, Customs, Home Land Security and and other agents of law enforcement who won't hesitate for a second to put you through what may be a very unpleasant boarding along with a thorough incredibly detailed inspection not only of your boat, but of your documents and papers as well. read more

Used our yacht for 4hours and paid $20 for 4hour parking, went 1 hour over time and was charged $85 +handling fee. called Propark @ 8449997275 since they denied my dispute. I was told there's a parking contract on the wall when you enter into the garage that states this charge. so i have to pay 76% more than what i originally paid for parking. find somewhere else to park and don't patronize this company. when i spoke to customer service, the girl hungup on me. i asked for the supervisor "Yolanda" and conveniently, she was in a meeting. From my first phone call to Elisabeth, I knew this was a first class operation. We needed fuel, ice and groceries on our way to the Bahamas. Jimmy was there to help set us up for a half day landing on the dock for our Leopard 47 sailing catamaran. We met Louis there to handle the lines in windy conditions blowing us off the dock. Terrible service from an employee John. He was rude even if me and my friends we were polite and kind with him and all the other employees. Dana the supervisor came to apologize and she was nice with us. Finally, Ricky(another employee came to put fuel in our jet skis and he was extremely nice as well. I have a 54ft yacht that i would like to park in this Marina but employees have to provide service like Ricky and Dana but not like John. It is not the biggest marina you'll ever visit and it doesn't have the largest yachts in the world but it is a gem of an urban Marina filled with some wonderful boats right along the concrete edge of bustling South Beach. Good looking Marina and good amenities although the "rules" they are enforcing are questionable to say the least. The one time I pulled up on a boat to pick up a guest they charged us $50 just to pull up close enough for our guest to hop on, without even tying up! To make matters worse they tried charging us double the price for fuel per gallon (over $10/gallon) for our jet ski because we were getting under the "minimum required amount". In other words, unless you are a member there don't expect any special treatment. read more

No floating docks. When I arrived, they had 4 individuals (3 were in training) to assist with docking. Thank god for the person waxing the boat next to me as he was the only one that really helped out. He tossed my rope over the mooring Pole so we could properly tie up the boat. Very hard to dock here as they have a fixed cement dock. I had to continually wakeup thru the night to re tie up the boat. Marina is not well protected from the inlet and is a big party time at all hours of the night. read more

BE CAREFUL WITH PARKING ON THE MARINA LOT. Be ready to shell out $300 to get your car out of the Tremont tow lot. The restaurants surrounding the Marina are some of my favorite spots in Miami. Sadly the Marina and Tremont towing run a scam out of the parking lot designated for restaurants and shops in the area. Their spotters watch and judge if you are using the business or not, and even if you are a paying customer they can call and have your car towed. When confronted the Marina Manager mentioned it happens all year long, they watch and see if you step out of the property (even if for a minute) and tow you away. The spotters definitely get a commission since one of them felt bad for me and offered me $100 for my troubles. They towed my car within 5-10 minutes of me arriving because they assumed I wasn't a paying customer. BE CAREFUL WITH PARKING ON THE MARINA LOT. THEY WILL HAVE YOUR CAR TOWED. read more

It is a pity what the change of management has brought to the marina. Just had the pleasure of parking my car to take a walk on the promenade and then eat at montys which is very good, just to find my car towed. Apparently if you walk pass the marina the order of the new management is to tow your car. So a 300 usd restaurant tab is becoming who knows how much. I personally thank the manager Brian for clearly and "politely" explaining the "new" policy after the fact. All i can say folks is do not park at visitors parking and take a walk before or after going into a boat, the restaurants and/ or shops because thats going to cost you dearly and do not try to get any help from the manager he is following company police where "service" and "customer happiness" is their motto. My recommendation use other marina if you can, go to other places where people and specially managers know what service means in the service industry. The old manager passed away, mr kates you will be missed it was much better when you were around. read more

yesterday about 4pm - I stopped with my jetski and asked for some gas - the guy told me : "I want $ 10 per gallon of gas" - I told him: "you're a perfect dreamer and total out of range. After that nice visit I stopped at a marina in Miami near the Venetian Island and I refilled my jetski for $ 4.10 a gallon :-) So don't use this marina for a gas stop - drive to other locations and save money !!! read more

The management here sucks. They treat you poorly and then charge you for wanting to leave. Their laundry facilities are a joke (machines barely work) and their "pool" is inside a restaurant - and children aren't allowed to use it. They have false advertising and they don't care about the people - just the money. They charge almost twice what other marinas charge and then treat you like you should be grateful to be there. Moving out and not recommending this to anyone. Stay away!! read more
