This trip, though, there was absolutely no Disney involved -- and we finally stopped here on our way home Sunday morning. I feel like you know you're getting older when you get excited about grocery shopping. Normally when I go to Publix, I'm irritated before I even get inside. But this place? A completely different experience. Walking through and seeing all the locally grown vegetables and the meat selection -- clearly labeled as hormone-free and without all the extra junk you get at typical grocery stores -- was honestly mind-blowing. The prices were so reasonable I couldn't believe it. I purposely brought a cooler for the two-hour drive home, and even with everything I bought, I didn't spend over $100. If I had purchased the same items at Publix, I'm convinced I would've been close to (or over) $200. Beyond the prices, the quality and overall vibe made it so enjoyable. You're not breaking the bank feeding your family, and you feel good knowing you're getting better-quality food. The staff was incredibly sweet and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was looking for boneless chicken, and one of the employees asked if that's what I needed. A few minutes later, he came back with multiple packs in his hands to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I really appreciated it. One thing to know: the produce and meat sections are in two separate, unconnected rooms, so you check out separately in each. And if you're still riding that high from all the money you saved, there's soft-serve ice cream outside with seating -- which just makes the experience even better. For someone who truly despises grocery shopping, this was actually fun. I will absolutely make a special trip to Orlando just to come back here -- and next time, I'm bringing a bigger cooler.

The ironic part is that he's mildly allergic to pineapple, so he only drank the coconut water while my husband happily ate the pineapple itself! It gave us a laugh, and I reminded my son that next time it's perfectly okay to ask if the drink can be served another way or to mention his allergy before ordering. Overall, this is a charming little market that fits the character of the town. It's a great place to wander, browse, listen to music, and enjoy the local atmosphere. I don't know how many times I would need to go here but it was a fun stop for us. It was very sunny out so make sure you wear a hat or take a walk by the water where there are trees and benches.

Parking was easy, free, and conveniently located to all the festivities which is a huge plus. This is also one of the few local markets where I've actually seen a large selection of fresh produce and and farm goods available. It was refreshing to see so many people bring their market bags on wheels, wagons, etc. ready to purchase fresh fruits & veggies and support our local farmers. Beautiful watermelons, tomatoes, papaya, lettuces, corn, peppers, zucchini, and more. There's a good mix of vendors ranging from jewelry and handcrafted goods to food trucks and specialty food items. We got mango coladas, mango flower with tajin, breakfast tacos, and of course, kettle corn. Huge plus that there is the downtown splash pad for all the kids to play right in the middle of all the action. It was a HOT one and this was a great way for my little guy to cool off and burn some energy while we sat and enjoyed our food. If you have kids, I highly suggest they wear their swimsuits and bring some towels to dry off.

I would say out of all the farmers markets I have been to this one seems to get the most crowded around 10 AM.

They have a good variety of restaurants and a couple shops. It's a lot more chill than other places in Orlando I feel like, and seems to be mainly locals rather than tourists. It has such a strong local vibe and it is cool to see a mix of smaller vendors alongside some more well known food spots. That said there are a few things worth noting. First, seating can be a challenge. There is plenty of outdoor seating but not much indoors. The day we went it was pretty hot and sitting outside was not the most enjoyable experience at times. Second, I fully support spending money at local businesses but the tipping culture here felt a bit excessive. I bought a bag of coffee beans with no drink and was prompted for a tip. I spent $45 for 12 pieces of chocolates at Oban Chocolatier and was asked for a tip there too. Same thing when I spent about $25 on four cookies at Gideon's Bakehouse. I am happy to support but it started to feel like a lot in a not enjoyable way. Third, the hours between vendors can be a bit awkward. We came around brunch time which worked for some spots but others were not open yet. For example, Domu does not open until dinner (5PM) and Gyukatsu Rose was not opening until later in the afternoon (3 PM) Overall, I think this is a great place to check out especially if you enjoy trying a variety of local spots. Just plan ahead for seating and timing and be prepared for lots of tip prompts along the way.

I also got some amazing jalapeño ranch pickles from the pickle vendor there. I forgot the name but it had "Dill" in it. So good! Also loved the tent sampling all the dips -- they give you pretzel sticks to try as many as you want. They were very tasty. We brought the whole family out today and it was SO HOT. The only bummer is that there's like zero shade coverage and the sun was brutal. We couldn't stay very long because my toddler was getting overheated. We'll likely go back once the weather starts to cool down.

It's a fantastic program and though I love an IRL farmer's market, I don't have the ability to go weekly. The delivery fee is under $10 and so far every week has provided plenty of produce that has challenged me to cook more and eat healthy, farm fresh veggies! Highly recommend checking out their CSA program and trying it out. You can skip weeks, cancel, add one-time items (like amish butter!!), etc very easily from the website.

We drove to the old location first then made our way here based on stuff we found online. I was disappointed as it wasn't so much a farmer's market with fruits and veggies, but rather a county fair type setup with people selling other stuff. Sure there was food like muffins and honey, drinks for sale, etc., but not exactly what I expected. It was during Covid and would hope it improves once Boxi Park reopens and more traffic is coming through the area.

The single produce stall wasn't even fully set up by the time I arrived at 11:30am. There were booths for jewelry, house plants, salsa, bbq sauce/rubs, and baked goods (nothing vegan), but only 1-2 stalls for each. Not many choices at all.
