Fluorescent lights, linoleum tile, big league chew, and an aroma cigarette smoke, faint.. but ever present, engrained into the very structure of the building. The gas pumps are mainly just for show. This may also be one of the only convenience stores that doesn't carry an ultra selection of high abv local craft brews in 22 oz bottles. They have a couple of six packs for Highland, but it would seem as though the beer distributors haven't found or tend to avoid this spot. One truly unique item they carry here is Budweiser in 8oz cans. Also available are a wide array of gold chains and medallions, gilligan hats with phrases such as "Keep it 100" and "YOLO", and a surprisingly large selection of incense. The owners are highly pleasant people. A wonderful couple. Very sweet, excited to have you in their store. As if to emphasize its intentions to close whenever the heck they feel like it, the stores lights and signage are usually cut off an hour or more before they lock the doors in an apparent attempt to drive away late night customers. The cashier was doing something with a receipt and completely ignored me. I greeted her with no response. She was watching a video on her phone, which played the entire time I was there. It was some high drama reality show with people screaming and yelling at each other. She still didn't speak to me and while checking me out, pulled the phone closer to watch the video, completely ignoring me. She never smiled or acted the least bit interested in her job or me. I left the store, again without comment. I worked as a customer service manager for over 20 years and have never seen anyone so disrespectful and rude. Honestly, I would have fired her.
