We always look for specialty snacks, boxed non-perishable food items like pasta or rice, dairy items like yogurt, healthy items like vitamins, and random stuff in the frozen section to find the best deals. As long as you don't come here for produce and regular grocery items, you can really leave with awesome deals. Cons: the new location, while bigger, doesn't have the same charm as the old location on S French Broad Ave. I also think that they have less deals on products than before, but I could be making that up. All and all, I'll still go whenever I'm in town visiting, but it's not on my priority list like before

The dog is not chained to anything, he just holds it by the collar. I love animals but I don't think this is ok for a business to allow this to happen. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen. I won't be going back in until the dog is gone, I should not have to risk getting bit to go get discounted groceries.

Parking is a breeze because you can usually park right beside the door. The owner is usually behind the counter and he seems like a nice hardworking man. I prefer doing business with local businesses over Nationwide national chains. Today as I stopped by to gey an oil change and inspection, I put my registration card on the dash and took my keys to the employee, as I have always been instructed in the past. A young man that I handedd my keys to was extremely rude. As I was telling him what I was there for, he started talking over me to tell me i needed to go back and bring him my registration. OK, that's fine, I went back to the vehicle and got the registration. So I went inside and waited almost an hour. Then a different young man brought me my keys and the ticket and indicated that they were finished. A quick look at the receipt told me that they had not done the oil change. Obviously the first kid was so busy talking over me he didn't pay attention to why I was there. I told the second young man that the oil was supposed to have been changed too. He apologized and said he would take care of that. So after nearly another hour wait, he brings me the ticket. It was $123 for and inspection and oil change! My last oil change here was $45! Now I know gas and oil have gone up in price, but doubled? I could have had the oil changed at a 10 minute oil change shop with synthetic oil for $55!! As I said I know prices have gone up for petroleum products. But courtesy and respect towards customers is free. But today it was non-existent. And it cost your business a decades long customer. I won't be back.
