The chester branch of hawkins bazaar doesnt seem very big, but does make good use of its space, and is very centrally located in Chester being just on the crossroads.

Plenty of kids entertained whilst we were there and a number of parties too, great for the little ones but for all the family too if you fancy it. Whilst prices are not as competitive as you will find online, they are one of the cheapest craft stores where you can go in store to buy items. Depending on the season (e.g. Easter, Christmas) they will have a display running the entire length of the store for items suiting that occasion. There are also often sale items where you can pick up a fantastic bargain! My only complaint is that I could not find a simple fabric that I was looking for here - plain black fabric, which is a staple that I would presume most places to stock.

The pretty sulk scarfs overhang the banisters and the brick walls are covered in collages and paintings for sale.
