Beautiful small hall for little get togethers. However the staff and owner are BEYOND unprofessional!!!!! Minus our food being COLD , and under cooked ... We had our work party there and one of their servers stole my phone!!!! After one of the police continually arguing with them (owner/ manager) , we got no where and had to take matters into our own hands. Eventually got my phone back and told the owners of the girl who stole it and they refused to do anything about it. We never ended up booking with them again !!! Would NOT recommend!!! read more

I recently had my wedding and reception at this banquet hall. during my time organizing the wedding, the banquet hall went through a management change...and all for the best! since the change until my wedding I was nothing but pleased with the service I received as well as the organization. my background is event planning and so my nature was to keep a watchful eye on my events - and this was my wedding so it was that much more important that things went off without a hitch. Gary, the manager of the hall was most accommodating. when we asked for stations instead of a buffet, he was more than willing, but then also suggested live stations!! He, along with the banquet staff and chef, made our day so very memorable. the banquet hall itself is very new and clean; the chef prepared the most delicious Indian buffet lunch, and our guests are still talking about the dinner! we did a live Hoppers station and a hakka station - Hoppers was new for everyone so they all loved it. but I'm still getting comments about the chilli fish served. to me, the most important thing about the night was good food and music, and MCC completely came thru with the food. they were also incredibly accommodating with how we wanted to set everything up, and very efficient and organized seeing as though we had 400 people for the wedding and another 250 for the reception. they also let us bring our own alcohol in which saved us a lot of money! all in all, it was a fantastic experience and I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to host an event! read more

The 5 stars come after the Management change. My sister recently got married there and initially we had a bumpy start with the previous management and staff. But the staff who was taking care of a month before was AWESOME. Gary and Agustya were absolutely amazing and accommodating. They really got the whole thing together and the day went through without a hitch! We had a traditional banquet style lunch in the afternoon but the evening we requested something different - a cocktail reception. Not like your regular seating, we requested food stations and just an open concept. Not only did we have stations, but they suggested live stations! It was a hit with our guests. Which brings me to my next comment. I'd like to give a very big compliment to the chef and his team. The food was absolutely amazing! The midnight buffet was so awesome as well! The poutine rocked! My Friend recently had her wedding reception at this venue (March 29, 2014). The venue is beautiful, but that is about it. The professionalism of the employees was just sad and pathetic. When a event starts at 6pm, it would be great if the room was set-up. It was very unprofessional to have guest arrive and still have staff in the room putting napkins, glasses and cutlery on the table. Not only that. The venue sales people thought when someone is hosting their wedding, it is the perfect time to schedule site visits and food tastings. We had random people walking in and out of the venue and going into and out of the bridal suite. This is the most unprofessional staff and venue personnel ever. I've hosted and organized a lot of events for work and this is something anyone who is a real professional would NOT do! All they care about is your money. They do not care about standards or about putting on a great event. The table cloths were wrinkled and so were the chair covers. With all the money that they get paid....it is just an outrage and sad. If you are looking for a venue, DO NOT choose this one. Regardless of the beauty of the place, all the sparkle does erase the bad impression or the unprofessional conduct of the owners, and workers. read more

Had my wedding reception there earlier this year and here's the review: Good Stuff: 1. Venue is gorgeous! 2. Kirk Brady - AWESOME & accommodating, although he will let you know when you are wrong which I appreciated. 3. Food (West Indian) - DELICIOUS! All of my guests raved about it. It actually had flavor and everything was cooked REALLY well. Bad Stuff: 1. A tasting was arranged during my reception beside my bridal suite! - not cool! 2. Ill-attired individuals showed up to view my hall DURING my reception! 3. Room was not set up in time - there was broken glass on the floor The Worst Part: My coordinator has some issues with the venue rep and issues with how the reception played out in general. The following Monday she called the venue and spoke with management, Priya Patel I think. Priya then called me for more information which I provided. At the end of the call she said we will work out some compensation for you (all i wanted was to be reimbursed for the case of champagne that had disappeared) and apologize to my wedding coordinator for the unprofessional manor in which she was addressed. It has been 3 months and no one has apologized or called me back. read more

This is by far one of the most unorganized businesses which I have seen! My best friend had their wedding at this venue and they had a horrible time dealing with management. We originally booked the event with a different coordinator (Ahmad) and we found out that he was no longer working with the company. We got a hold of him and he advised us that he couldn't help us and we had to contact the banquet hall in regards to the event. This is where everything just collapsed on us! The new people (whom i don't believe had any experience working in a banquet facility or being able to manage a wedding) had no idea about anything! We asked them for a few things believing they are the wedding coordinators just like the previous gentlemen but they were just blank. We had a horrible experience! They didn't know how to make schedules, what to do during the wedding, what to recommend.. they just knew how to ask for the balance!! Overall food was okay. Servers seemed as if they were not too happy working there and did not seem properly trained. Very poor management at this facility! No comfort or trust!! They should have allowed us to run our event with the coordinator who we booked our event with! read more

I am sorry to say this has got to be one of the worse venues I've ever stepped in. I coordinated a wedding here last month and the staff I had to work with was unprofessional and far from helpful. They were not accommodating at all and were not interested in showing professionalism. The venue was not only set up when it was supposed to be - it was not even clean. There was gum on the dance floor, dirt that was not completely swept, etc. I had to move tables myself because they didn't follow through with the floor plan that was given and spoken about with the bride & groom. They didn't even care once I told them and while I was moving one of the tables, one of them told me I couldn't do what I was doing because it was getting in the way - which it was not - why would I make it difficult for staff or wedding guests to have issues moving around?!? They were told in advance that cupcakes needed to be set up for the dessert table and when I advised one of the workers, he said "I have to set that up? Do you see what I have to do? You have to do it!!" To avoid any issues that evening and for the night to go smoothly, I went with it but I was fuming. Requests had to be asked SEVERAL times - even as small as getting the key for the bridal suite. One person would tell me to go to someone else and when I did, he told me to go to the guy I originally went to. This happened oh at least about 4-5 times. And it wasn't just to me, the father of the bride also requested for this. There were boxes that needed to be put away and the same person that told me I had to set up the cupcakes told me they WILL NOT take the boxes and that I had to find a space to put it in!!! Now with that said, there were about 4 servers that were extremely helpful during the reception...but aside from that - the rest of the staff need to be trained or replaced with proper etiquette on how to run a business!!
