They are all about pushing their favorite contact lens brands (try this, try that), here's another brand we want you to try, now come back in 2 weeks. Always wanting you to make another appt. They don't call you back when you leave a message. I asked them to email me my prescription so I could just order my contacts myself from online. They told me their email doesn't work! Well apparently their USPS doesn't work either because I never received the prescription in the mail either. Fed up with this place! Me and my husband are going somewhere else. They are all about charging your insurance for office visits, 4, 5, and 6 times.

They filed claims for all services provided but refused to file the contact lens fitting. They said I was using non formulary contact lenses and my fitting wasn't covered. Had to get my vision insurance involved who instructed them to file the claim and they filed an internal grievance about DECC. Took forever to get my refund after my vision insurance paid them for the contact lens fitting (vision insurance filed a second internal grievance about DECC about the refund). Total experience took 3 months from eye appt to refund. Ridiculous. Won't be returning. Be careful with this place.

The last time I went here was the nail in the coffin, and I've never returned. The assistants to…read morethe doctor were ruthless in their making me feel bad about my glasses, which were old and dirty because I had been financially unable to replace them. Any attempt to make small talk or warm up to them to ease my embarrassment was met with the kind of subtle condescension you can come to expect from old white people. The optometrist who saw me was cold, condescending, and mildly homophobic. I had to get the attention of the secretaries at the exit desk to give me my bill, as they were caught up in gossip, which out-of-context sounded vicious and narrow-minded. If you are a minority in any way, or financially unstable, I would not recommend going to this place. I do not believe you will receive the same care and treatment that a white person who can adequately perform a middle-class persona would be provided.

NO ONE assisted me in trying them on and checking for accuracy. I was told to come back if they don't fit. After paying over $500 I should have been fit right as I picked them up. I'm so disappointed !!!! BUT Dr Brown is the BEST !!! So sorry Dr Brown but I am going somewhere else next time.
