Although these brands can be a little more, they do carry a great selection. Now on to the fact that this location is has an outlet side. Here I found a lot of summer things, really good prices though. They did have about 4 racks of jeans though and the section is fairly large. I would need more time to look at everything there, there were a few coats I wanted to look at.

I drove over 3 hours to find a vest. I left and went to Mr. Big and Tall across the road and she was very kind and expressed customers come there weekly after being mistreated in Moores. Unfortunately, she did not have any navy vests but gave me directions to the sister store in the Halifax Shopping Centre as well as another Moores location. I went to Moores across from the Halifax Shopping Centre. The gentleman there took my suit and spent the time to look at all the possible options and he found a match very easily. He also was able to help me match a tie as pocket square.

I only went in to look around so I didn't have to get any help, but I got a few smiles.

It can be a little on the high end for some, but the quality is very good here. We went when they had a fabulous sale on, buy one get the other for a dollar. You just cannot beat that! We got pants and a really nice pair of shoes. I would go back here again, my brother was very happy and looked great in the cloths.

I realize that selling a suit to a guy who comes in with his girlfriend might be tough for some but our tailor/saleslady was great! She measured Mark and then sent us to an area of the store with all of the suites in his size. Once we had picked a few out she reappeared with more helpful hints on tailoring. We even left with shoes when all was said and done! Overall, a great experience! Perhaps this is uniform to tailoring in general but why the extra charges, Moores? If a suit comes without a hem then I don't think you ought to charge someone to finish sewing it. At Moores the cost of basic hemming is $10 and in Mark's case there was an extra cost to extend the sleeves as well... seemed odd to me but other than that, this was a great suit shopping experience! When you first enter the store you'll find yourself faced with tables and tables of adorable nick nacks and homewares to browse though - so many cute mugs and beautiful candles! One day I dream that my home will be filled with them. They've also got journals, books, even a kids gift section. Further back you'll find clothing - men's is on the upper level and women's on the lower. They've also got a killer jewellery section (which is where I've found myself most often drooling over the rings and earrings). I never look closely at the clothing because I don't want to tempt myself (out of my price range), but just glancing at the racks I and tell there are a lot of cute things that I hear are really great quality. From the little bit of browsing I've done the sizes are all pretty small...whomp whomp. In the men's section you'll find wallets, shave kits and some really fun socks in addition to the standard clothing fare. Don't miss out on the back section behind the men's clothing where the sale stuff is! They've always got a good selection of sale things. I really love the idea of shopping at Biscuit General, but unless it's some of the smaller items I just don't have the budget for it. It can get very pricey very quickly. That being said if you have more room in your budget definitely give Biscuit General a shot - it's definitely a local gem!

I'm a pretty lean guy so it's nice to find clothes that have a nice fit and aren't baggy on me, whether it's because of me being emaciated, or just the style of the clothing. I love that the clothes aren't covered in logos and in your face designs; good clothes will speak for themselves and have a timeless cut and colour. The staff is always quite helpful here. On my last visit, they held onto some bulky bags from another store I was carrying around and started a room for me while I picked out a few things. There's even a fridge with bottles of water for 75c if you're really exerting yourself in your clothing shopping!.... I saw several items that were selling for more than they were in Ottawa (where I'm living now). Selection was also not great. Things looked like they had been picked over. I walked away empty handed. These shoes are the best I have worn in my entire life! I went on a trip to Paris 2 weeks later & wore them 12 hours a day sightseeing. My husband got blisters - my feet felt great at the end of the day. I was impressed because she could have easily sold me a much more expensive pair of shoes that I loved for the style. But she didn't - I love these shoes so much that when I could not get a 2nd pair I ordered an identical pair from the US with the help of the Akaisha US Rep.

Most of these so-called "orthotic" shoes cannot be repaired or rebuilt. Properly manufactured leather shoes with firm insoles yield nearly instant relief from ankle and arch pain--pain typically caused by flat feet (excessive pronating) and obesity. Pronating may be alleviated by light boots with ankle support--the benefit of the German brands is the all leather construction that conforms to your foot over time. In the end it is the responsibility of the buyer to communicate what they want and how a product feels.
