I also queried why the discount had changed from 20 to 25% in less than 24 hours and did they honour that. All said and done seems the shirt was finally sent and is being delivered since my query and no recognition of the additional discount but no problems with a $15 delivery fee and a false arrival date. The saleslady assisting us was very nice and patient. Adam must've tried on at least 2-3 different shirts and more than 5 ties. She was also nice enough to steam the shirt before wrapping it up. They have this cool policy in the store where you can try to put a hole in one mini golf style for $95 off a tie for $2 (and the money goes to charity!). Sadly, both Adam and I missed. But I enjoyed playing a lot! Mini put inside a store! I was surprised no one snubbed us as we did look very ordinary. I think once Adam specifically asked to try on a shirt, they loosened up and realized we were going to buy something. That's when they got friendlier and offered us drinks. But I really only liked the lady who helped us, the rest seemed unbothered and lazy.

The good news is that their prices are actually very reasonable for the most part. And I walked in right when they were having tons of deals! The sad part was, none of the clothes I wanted fit right or looked right on me. There were some interesting jackets but I wasn't in a "jacket buying" mood. Now onto the staff. When I first walked in, I couldn't find them. So I looked around and looked around some more and still couldn't find any. I shrugged, thought about how security seems pretty relaxed, then went over to the changing room to try on some of the clothes I would eventually find out didn't fit me right. I did then find staff, but they simply gave me a number and told me where I could go to try on the clothes. They weren't rude and had a pleasant sounding voice. But here is a list of what they didn't say or ask: 1. Can I help you with anything? 2. How did that one fit? 3. Could I get you another one in a different size? 4. How about orange as a color? I never found any staff who were at all interested in me as a customer. I looked around just to check and see if someone else was having better luck but no one was. When I walked by staff they were talking and coordinating with each other. But they simply acted as if there were no customer's in the store. H&M does have some nice products and even though the clothes didn't fit me perfectly, they will fit someone. So they deserve three stars for having a good variety of clothing and having deals from time to time. But two stars are missing because customer service was down right nonexistent aside from someone handing me a number and letting me know where I can get changed.

Even though the women's inventory probably triples what is available for guys, I found that the selection and style was much cooler than the girls. The dressier section of the women's clothes are a little to flashy for my taste, I did pick up a nice grey cardigan which I love because it's not a typical v-neck, and instead it buttons all the way up. Prices vary, some of the more casual clothes are pretty cheap, but the formal selection can be really pricey. This is still a fairly new store so I've found that their sales have been few and far between. Hot Hint: I found a really cool (and durable!) umbrella on sale here. Keep and eye on the accessories and you can find some great deals.

I still didn't even have these items 2 minutes in my hands!!! when I got to the counter the cashier said, you can just tap your card!!! I will be honest I didn't enjoy this shopping experience at all, I felt like I was put on the spot, and I didn't even know what to make of this! The items I wanted, I got them, but you don't go to super store, and the cashier or assistant doesn't take the items out of your hands and put them at the counter when you are still busy shopping? no they don't, so why does these assistants do that? total amount was $218 for a 9 min shopping experience, it wasn't about the money, but you want to enjoy the experience of retail therapy, and this was not great. if you don't want customer to see, feel, and roam the store, then you should only have an online store!

The first thing that hit me when I walked in was a wonderful sent of tangerine, at least I think that is what it was, the smell was heaven. This place was packed today, I know it was a combination of beautiful weather, Spring Garden and March Break. There was no sign of recession in this store. The line went from the cash right to the back of the store. I could not believe it. And no one was blinking an eye at the cost, $58.00 top, $130.00 jacket, $90.00 pants. I do think some people will choke on the prices, but I believe you will get great quality. Either that or half of Halifax has lost their minds, because I have never seen so many people in a store, and no sale going on. The styles and colours here are a step above the others you will find. They had some great selections. There was one jacket I thought was a pretty good price, the $130.00 Rain Jacket.
