I called T.G. The Handyman and had a few things I needed done. The urgent need was to reconnect my dryer vent after something fell behind it and knocked it loose from the wall. I am recovering from surgery and can't move the units so he got me in as quickly as possible. He just left and was so kind and helpful explaining a few things as he went along. I made the mistake of being swayed by the positive reviews. I first made contact with T.G. The Handyman on 4/29/22. I itemized the things we wanted done. I was told there was a six-week wait. I hated waiting that long but the reviews convinced me to hire him. I was told that someone from the office would call to put me on the schedule I didn't hear back and contacted the handyman on 5/3/22 to ask if someone was going to call. On 5/4/22 I was told they "have been gone," that I was on the list, and someone would call when the office reopened on 5/9/22. It is 5/27/22 and no one from his office has called me. I've triple-checked my voice mails. I have no desire to keep asking if someone is going to call me, and shouldn't have to. I've moved on. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this handyman. read more

My ceiling fan light went out and I called Travis to come by and fix it, he answered immediately and set up a date and time. When he came by he checked the fan and noticed that not only did I need a new fan but also there was an issue with the way the fan was secured to the ceiling. Apparently I wasn't as lucky as all the other reviewers. I called to set up an appointment to have an attic ladder installed and he gave me an appointment date of the following week. Since it was around the holidays I thought that was pretty good. The day before the appointment I sent him a text message in the morning to confirm the appointment for the next day. I never heard back from him, so I called him later in the afternoon and left a voicemail message. Within a few minutes he called me back and told me that he had had the flu and he wouldn't be able to make it. He told me that once he was feeling better he would call me and reschedule the appointment. I told him not to worry and to get better and I'd wait for him to call. Well, It has been almost a month and I have not heard a word. I know it isn't exactly remodeling the home, however I could've chosen someone else to do this project. I contacted Travis about a shower head panel I wanted installed in my master bath. It required drilling into the tile which we were not comfortable doing ourselves. It was difficult to get a hold of him to set up an appointment but when he did come he provided good services. On 7/16, I requested for a quote on Yelp for a leaky faucet outside and to see if he fixed washers. He replied that we was unable to service but he was booking for the 1st week of August and to call him. 1st time I called, he told me he was busy so to text him and he'd call me back. The next morning he texted me to call him. When I called him he told me he was busy and to text him again. I believe it was about 2-3 days after when he was finally called me to discuss what I needed done. He told me to text him the issue again and send picture. After that he scheduled me for 7/30.
