She gets physical with children, resorting to grabbing them, shoving them into their seats if they are even the slightest amount of hyper. The owner is incredibly unprofessional and unqualified to work with children. Educators--and anybody working in the vicinity of children--need to know how to handle all types of behavior. Instead, this Kumon only prioritizes and respects children who are "well-behaved " in their eyes--when in reality, these "well-behaved" children are truly just petrified that the owner will scream in their face and berate them in front of other students. I have witnessed a particular student with clear anxiety berated immediately upon entry. The child would enter clearly nervous and afraid for their lesson, and the owner would rush to them, threatening them, seating them alone in a corner, overall just making the situation for the child worse. Mind you, this child was five years old with confirmed mental disability. The owner has also claimed on multiple occasions that special needs programs are not necessary. On multiple occasions, parents have come to her, asking for her input on placing their child in a special school/special program; she would immediately shut down their idea and say that it "doesn't help" and their disabilities "aren't real". Several workers were not paid their correct salary nor would they get paid on time. Multiple workers reported getting paid every 2-3 months rather than the promised monthly payday. The owner would also pay them $100-$120 less than what they worked for. On the topic, workers were verbally harassed and abused. The owner had no shame in screaming at her employees, especially during training period, where they are bound to make mistakes. Overall, this Kumon is horribly managed. If you have half a brain, do not send your child here.

My kids started going to Kumon of Morganville and attending virtual sessions and they have been learning a lot and staying ahead of the school curriculum. This Kumon specially Mrs. Harishri has been excellent providing proper guidance to my kids and helping them remotely. I would highly recommend Kumon of Morganville specially Mrs. Harishri.
