Usually, we are crowded with other people who are coming in but everything runs smoothly here. I don't know if that is because the team is not doing well or it usually is like this. We were able to look around and see the local vendors. They have the usual fast-food options with some DC specials like Ben's Chili Bowl. I did not try it but I have heard good things. We were able to go up and see the game. Unfortunately, they did not win. It was disappointing that Anthony Davis and Trey Young didn't play but what can you do? It was fun to see a game here and I hope to come back next time I am in town.

My father called ahead of time since him and I are both disabled (we both have handicap placards and my father has a permanent disabled license plate) He finally got ahold of someone and they said if we want handicap parking up close get the gold parking pass. I paid 200 dollars for parking. Yes, 200. Parking up close is VERY important to me.. Nobody was helpful in guiding us to the lot we paid 200 dollars for. Also, they told us when we got there there's no handicap places, we just have to go and sit on a blue bench and call a number for a golf cart to pick us up. I called the number 3 times and somebody did answer. They were nice but not helpful. We ended up having to give up and walk. No workers were helpful, and when we would try to flag down other workers on golf carts they would not stop for us. They did not even look at us The stadium is very outdated. It looks extremely industrial and not welcoming Very crowded Lines were long There definitely was not enough bathrooms or food areas to keep up with all the people it can hold However, I did enjoy the seats we had. I liked the view. And the field looks great. I will say, the bathrooms for the MOST part were clean for over 50 thousand people being there. I did see a toilet overflowing onto the ground though. But workers were taking care of it This stadium needs a huge update. Do not waste 200 on up close parking. I really wish they had more concessions at this arena, so typically we have dinner before or after pending the game time. If you get the tickets with beer/wine and snacks I highly recommend to only sit in the lounge. The floor seats aren't worth it at all. You can be on the opposite side of the lounge and be forced to walk up the stairs around the arena back down the stairs grab your snacks only to have to do that all over again to get back to your seats. The ushers also give conflicting information and be told to walk one way and then be forced to walk another by another person. It makes it very confusing and frustrating for a guest that is just following what they were told.

It looks like the area is being renovated a bit. I'm not sure exactly where in DC it is, but there are several old buildings in the area that had to be in use at some point in time. It didn't take too long to get in and our seats were right up front. The atmosphere for Pride night was festive. I was easily able to grab some food & drink and head to my seat with no problem. It is a smaller venue, but it felt cozy. I had a good time. After the game you can go across the street to an area which holds a few eateries and there's one big indoor area with a bar. If you park in the garage, be prepared to wait about 20 minutes before there's any movement so you can get out. I was nervous I'd be sitting there LONGER, but once we started moving, we got out quickly. If you get there EARLY you can probably park on the street which will facilitate your exit.

They are still trying to decide what to do with the space.

It's falling into disrepair, but it has so many great memories for me that I can do nothing but give it a good rating. It's one of the classic stadiums of the USA, and I hope that they are able to keep it open and renovate it and make it useful. Even though it won't have the NFL playing in it anytime soon, I hope that somebody big will play it in future. Richard covered most of what happened here, it was a legend. But he forgot that World Cup USA 94 games were held here, which were my greatest memory of the stadium that famously and literally would bounce up and down during games.

However, there are a lot of people that cannot decipher where the sections are. I had a few people try to say I was in their seat when I was not. They were the next section over. The one thing I would have liked to have known was that there was a second level right near my section instead of having to climb those steep steps. But the view, my god the view at this place is amazing. Seeing the Washington Monument over the jumbo screen was amazing. I do have to say, there is definitely not a bad seat in this stadium.
