My go-to pharmacy for any prescription, over the counter supplies, etc. Marra's has been a staple of Secaucus for as long as many of us can remember. They treat you like family and care about their customers. I have never had an issue getting my prescriptions filled, and they are always ready for pickup when I arrive. The personal touch is what makes the difference here. The staff are helpful and kind. If you come down with something, rest assured you can find any remedies you could possibly need in this store. Their selection of greeting cards, small gifts, etc. for an occasion is also very convenient. I always shop here for my cards and have since I was young. It blows CVS out of the water. I went to get medicine because I had a really bad headache/migraine. Staff is very nice but OMG the smell of the pharmacy. Just horrible. I don't know if it's a musky scent from the carpet but I cannot go back there. I walked out ready to throw up all over the sidewalk. read more

Very caring pharmacist (he is part of the owners family). Went out of his way to help get my daughters medication & prepare quickly (which the other competing pharmacy's did not have in stock). Pharmacy worker was also kind and helpful. Will continue to get my family's prescriptions filled here. Very grateful. read more

The head pharmacist here is the absolute best! I flew back from Paris and left my sleeping meds on the plane, I had a week to go on a refill. This process took 2 days without sleep Target CVS was so crazy strict. After explaining to my Dr. And getting a new refill this Pharmacist was able to accommodate me since, I had to take another flight to Florida later that evening. And he could tell I hadn't gotten sleep, and I needed it. Thank you. The cashiers are friendly, and there was parking. I wanted to find a different pharmacy than CVS right in town (Secaucus), and tried Marra Drugs. I wondered how a small place like this stays open when its right across the street from a CVS... And the reason is that they are friendly, fast, and with good customer service. I go there for all my pharmaceutical needs just so I don't have to deal with the rude and slow service at any other major pharmacy. *Another reviewer said they were overcharged for copies - I actually found a product online, and had the store order it. When I came to pick it up, the price was 2 times the amount I could get it online. I said so, and haggled with the guy until he gave me 2 bottles for the price of one. In and out in 15 min can't ask for more. I am staying in a extended stay hotel near the store and they deliver here for free. I needed some over the counter meds. and some tissues. They were ok about delivery of a non prescription order. NyQuil and M&Ms for dinner way to get over a cold. read more

Waited for me to show up and unlocked the door to let me in. No other place I have ever been did so much to help. The guy offered to drive me home because my ride didn't wait. My Dr. didn't know they were open and sent my prescription to CVS and they locked the door in my face. I'll get all my meds from them from now on. I highly recommend this place. read more

Why I prefer to support local stores ? I was in a rehabilitation center ( knee) in the area. Unfortunately, I did not anticipate the length of stay? Both friends and family were not at the time able to attend to my needs on this particular day and of course the impatient person I am ( HA!) I had to have certain things ASAP ! I called CVS in the area first due to the selection would be larger, they deliver, however, only for prescriptions. This is when I called Marras!! I should have called here first, shame on me ! The woman I spoke to was happy to accommodate me and my needs for some personal items, even candies ,with delivery !! Amazing !! I was so pleased with the gentleman that helped me with the copy machine. Everyone works there is friendly! BUT, guess how much the manager (maybe owner) charged me for 3 copies (black&white)? $2!!!! this place is great old fashioned drug store in seacucus nj.i had a hard to find item that they didnt carry and the chinese guy dont remember his name was so long ago think he was the manager was very nice and helpful and referred me to another place .the main reason this place rocks are they have rock candy who dosent love rock candy lol. read more

Bomb digs. Family-owned. Always well staffed. Always supplied. Mom and Pop prices. Really can't go wrong here. Great for greeting cards as well. They could afford to update some of their "Hallmark" gift stuff (there's Antonio Banderas cologne), but that's part of the charm. read more

I found this store by mistake, I did not know it was even a true pharmacy. My bus let me off in the wrong location, I did need some over-the-counter medicine for my sick child. I received very much close attention and help from a friendly young man who told me his great grandfather was the founder and that was nice. He had the same name and told of some places to get food in the area. He let me use his phone to call for a ride home and I will not forget his kindness. I did not know if they accepted my prescription plan and he assured me that they will and they have a free delivery service. I am a believer that it was meant for me to end up at this store and meet this friendly young man so I will be returning for a good look at the other merchandise they have to offer. I can not describe how wonderful this place is. I needed Tamiflu for my son and was on my way to a 24 hour pharmacy I did not realize that Marra's is open until 10. I passed by around 10:05 the door was locked but I saw people in and asked if they are still open. The pharmacist asked what I needed and they opened the door for me and I was in and out in 10 minutes. I am switching all of my prescriptions to this place. I do come here all the time for greeting cards and special soaps and the place is very neat and clean, prices are very reasonable and staff is super nice and polite. read more

Didn't have medication ready. Grandmother ended up having a seizure. Told us they would deliver the meds by 1:15 the latest. By 210 I gave up and went to get it myself. Delivery might get delayed but letting their clients know is necessary especially ones that can't wait read more

A prime example of why the "mom & pop business" needs to be supported by all of us. They have been there forever, but they don't take any customer for granted!! I am a terminal cancer patient, so I have many different medicines..but Marra's is the ONLY pharmacy that always has what I need in stock, and of they don't have it, they'll get it within 24 hours!! That's what made me go them in the first place. I was a Walgreen's customer for as long as I can remember, when I got diagnosed with cancer, me medicines changed drastically. I was prescribed a medication for pain, and Walgreens didn't have it in stock, they said they would order it, but it wouldn't be in for another 3 days!! i couldn't wait that long, Called Marra's, they didn't have it either, but they said it would be available 11 AM the following morning! I've been a loyal customer since. Everybody there is very friendly as well as professional. I've had issues with my insurance company sometimes, they staff always did there best to help me solve the issue. The icing on the cake...they have FREE DELIVERY for your prescriptions as well!!
