Mike came to us highly recommended by our wedding coordinator at our venue. At our first meeting, he made us feel comfortable and showed us that he valued our business even if we were working on a budget. All wedding sites and magazines tell you to invest in your photographer. We made the best decision with Mike. His packages are so diverse that I am sure you'll find something that will match your needs. What I appreciated with him the most was he was always mindful of our budget but did not scrimp us on the end product. Mike's style is classic and timeless. He captured the authenticity in us and did not force us to do things that made us look fake and awkward. That made our pictures priceless. He made us feel confident in what he does. We believed in his creative decisions, and we were not disappointed at all. Do an engagement session with him. We got to know him better, learned how to feel comfortable around a camera and also know what shots and poses work best for us. He makes you feel relaxed around him, and it helps! On the day of the wedding, he will be there at your private moments with your new spouse and you won't even know and care that he is there. Mike is incredibly experienced and professional. He worked well with all our other vendors especially our videographer. I could always count on Mike to respond quickly to any email or phone call. At one point Mike became my advisor and helped me in figuring out the timeline for my day. He is always on time (and by on time I mean he is 15 to 20 minutes early!!) He is well equipped and always carries backups in case something should happen.. He is so efficient that he blended in the crowd and I didn't even notice he was there. Suffice it to say, my husband and I are glad we met and found Mike. We gained a friend who captured every beautiful moment of our day, and made our wedding experience wonderful. Are we hiring him again? Of course!! We already told him we want him to do my maternity photos in the near future. :)

I am unbelievably disappointed with the lack of professionalism and disrespect from Rick. I had a…read morescheduled appointment to come in and see what he has to offer for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. The appointment was scheduled for 3 weeks after the initial call (later than I wanted but that is what he had available) and the day before I get a call requesting to reschedule. He began the conversation with, did I reschedule you last week? Ummm ...No this was my 1st appointment (is this common??). We made a new appt for the following week. 2 days prior to the meeting, he called again to reschedule because he has a corporate client who is a "very good client" that has an event scheduled that weekend. He tried to reschedule AGAIN but I told him that I did not want to work with him if he was not able to keep (not just 1) his appointments for perspective clients. I said that I understood if he was busy but he should be able to have another employee show me the showroom and help answer my questions. I was disappointed with is lack of care for perspective clients.

He is flat when he sings, sings songs that are far out of his range, and does not know how to speak to a crowd on the microphone. Hand to God, when I saw him at my friends Wedding, dead air, while he rushed to the back to put on a new song. There is no DJ. There are no transitions between songs, that aren't being sung by a live band, and, the tracks that are used to fill while the band plays, sound like they were ripped from YouTube. The insane amount of $$ that is spent on that band, should be spent on that man getting a vocal coach. Quality is important. People don't pay a cover or save money for a Wedding, to receive anything less than the highest standard. There are 4 girls in that band and my only reasoning is that it is to cover what this man is working with. Not that they don't have talent, because they do, they are the saving grace, but it's total overkill. They look bored out of their minds in these cookie cutter dresses, that look itchy, which is a sin. The band, as far as instrument wielding musicians, go, is very tight. Which is why it surprises me that they utilize so many background tracks. They don't need them. If they stripped those away, threw that guy in the trash, let the girls be more individual from one another, and got a DJ/singer, they would be golden. Don't take my word for it, please, go listen for yourself...prior to drinking.

It took away from the overall look. If you're going to allow outside catering, you should allow some space in your kitchen. Also, it was very hot in the hall, and that was before the dancing started.
