Marsella's Pizza was highly recommended to me the next time I got back into the northeast area of Ohio. Today was that day. Let me tell you first of all I walk in to this little mom and pop pizza shop and was immediately greeted at the counter, asking me if I had an order in or would like to place one. Since I did not call it in, I placed my order and told them that I wanted a little heavy on the sauce with my usual pepperoni and sausage, which is my go to when I first try a new pizza place. The staff was very friendly and the guy in the front and I struck up some nice conversation regarding hometown pizza places and diners between here and where I live in the Hamilton/Fairfield area. He asked me how he liked my pizza and I told him a little bit on the darker side and it came out perfect. Super nice people and a very clean interior of the building. It is not dine in so you'll have to carry out. As I left, I cracked the box in my car to let the pizza cool a little and could just smell the flavor coming out of there. Since I am traveling on the road for sales, I did not have a hotel booked yet being lunchtime so I pulled over in a county park and had my lunch. This could be possibly the best Italian sausage I have ever had on a pizza anywhere. If you'd like sausage on your pizza, don't skip it. I am going to give it a nine out of 10, which is really high for me and I will surely be back time after time when traveling through here. Well done! read more

One of the best pizza spots in the area!! Every time we have people over or out of town guests, we always get Marsella's pizza because it does not disappoint. We heard a lot of positive reviews on Facebook and local fb food pages about this pizza joint, so we figured why not make the 40 minute drive and try it. Upon arriving, there were plenty of patrons in the parking lot hanging out, waiting for their order to be done and more waiting inside, ready to pick up also. Parma sure loves this pizza joint! It was b-u-s-y!! We ordered a large sausage and mushroom pizza. It was plenty for 2 of us. The crust was nice, not too thick. The sausage was generous and what we call old school with caraway seeds and it is "pinched" into pieces. The mushrooms were also very generously spread over the pizza. (I believe they were canned mushrooms). The sauce was a hint of sweet with just the right amount spread all over the pizza. It was a great pizza!! We will definitely order from here again, but maybe when it's not snowing. Ha ha read more

I grew up eating Marsella's weekly and recently returned with my family. The pizza luckily tastes the same but the chicken parm sandwich is now made with a chicken patty. Very disappointing. I hope they haven't cut corners elsewhere. read more

Marsella's is one of the staple Parma Pizzerias and makes a great pie. I've been ordering from here for several years and they offer consistency and punctuality. I ordered 2 half sheets today for pick up for my son's birthday party and the pizza was just as good as from my childhood. The order was for 4pm and it was steaming hot and ready when I picked it up. Coming here from NY to visit my in-laws we happened to order from this little gem. The crust and dough were excellent, and the toppings were very fresh and generous. The overall size of the pie was a little small by N.Y. standards but 3 large fed 6 of us with some left over. The only criticisms of this place are 1) the do not put a lot of sauce on the pie, 2) they don't take American Express...good job with the food!!! read more

Well I called this pizza place hoping it was everything everyone has made it out to be. Since my wife life isn't really a pizza person was hoping they may have something else to offer. Called and asked a few questions and the man that answered was very short, rude, and obviously having a bad day. One persons attitude shouldn't detour a customers desire to eat at there establishment. Poor customer service is the downfall of most establishments. Don't eat here. Went there today and got the BBQ chicken pizza. Firstoff, the manager was very nice and even helped us find a way to open a bottle of wine we had purchased across the street. the bbq chicken pizza was definitely homemade and a slice above the fast food ones the sauce was bbq and sweet and really shoine through the toppings, there was a nice smoked whole cheese throughout it as well and the dough was very plump and soft and not gooey but delightful to bite in. after the first few bites admiiring the sauce and toppings and cheese, got to the juicy dough which surpirsed me. i actually started paying attention to the dough which was like biting into whole white bread still soft not toasted. it was very pleasant. i definitely recommend Marsella's. it is a great and tastier alternative to the regualr pizza joints in parma. and it is done in more chicago style deep dish but is not greasy or slathered with generic sauces or cheese, i would it is the best pizza i have had in parma. mpist soft dough, smokled cheese and a great bbq sweet sauce and fresh toppings really blended together for an out of the ordinary delightful pizza. read more
