Amazing pizza from here! The crust on this pizza is the only pizza crust I eat. The cheese is really good too. I usually just get a small cheese pizza, but the service isn't bad. I've never had a pizza that was bland. I ordered a deluxe pizza and a plain cheese with the garlic sauce. My daughter liked her cheese pizza. But the deluxe just didn't have any flavor. I'm huge on sauce and this pizza was lacking every aspect of flavor. Even the sausage wasn't flavorful. I was severely let down. I waited a day and tried it again and it just had the same nothing flavor. I do not recommend their pizza and I am very easy to please. read more

Would give ZERO stars if I could. Absolutely disgusting I went in to wait for my pizza the OWNER was making pizzas with NO GLOVES OR MASK ON! Mind you she was going back and forth touching peoples money and then straight back to making the food, didn't see her wash her hands once. I asked her to put gloves and mask on and she refused. She offered me a refund with the BIGGEST attitude and told me she doesn't care about my business. Worst experience I've ever had. And I am beyond disgusted that a BUISNESS OWNER would act that way. Not the best pizza spot in Old Brooklyn but definitely a go to for a cheaper meal. I'm not sure what it is exactly that most people don't like about their pizza, I think it might be the sauce because I've had their white pizza (garlic sauce instead of tomato based) and it is my go to. They have really good appetizers tho. Their dinners are "ok" and their sandwiches were way better ten years ago... I have no idea what changed but they're just not as good anymore. I actually worked here as a teen, many moons ago. At the time at least, the staff were pretty amazing and it was almost like a family. The husband and wife that own the place (assuming they still do) are like polar opposites tho. I loved when the husband was around, he was awesome and super nice. The wife seemed more like the strictly business type, which hey, it's a business so I get it, at least now as an adult that is. But overall, it's worth a try if you haven't. It's a small family owned pizza place with generous prices, and of all the years I've ordered from them, they have never, not once, screwed up my order. Can't say that for most pizza places in Old Brooklyn, so that says a lot. read more

They get nothing. I ordered from them out of convenience. My supervisor spent over $40.00 on food and there was a foreign object in her food. I called,told the lady she wants her money back. Nothing was done. Mind you they lost a lot of business, the guy that use to take my order, sounded irritated, like I was bothering him. Not anymore! Please get this back to them , No more Dunkin orders y'all messed that up. They use to be a lot better, I ordered for my family years ago. That's why I thought my coworkers would like this place. Beware folks they like to add money to your debit paid delivery. I gave the driver a 5$ tip for a 20 dollar order which took 5 minutes to get to my house. I called my debit card and magically it went from 20 and change to 29 and change. I havebcalled twice and they won't fix this blatant theft. Check your cards people read more

If you like cheese bread!! This is the place to be. If you're a dry pizza person, then you will absolutely love it. It's a pie without sauce. I've been going there for over a year now, (Sunday's are for pizza) this is my boyfriends fav local place. It's cheese, crust, and pepperoni. There is no sauce, so if you're a sauce person.. ask for extra on the pizza. And sides. I'm not sure if they put any on, or if it just evaporates every time. Perfect, if it had sauce. read more

LOVE this place! We dined in for the first time and it was WONDERFUL. Customer service was excellent, everyone was happy and eager to help. Buffalo chicken pizza- AMAZING! Breaded buffalo chicken pieces topped with cheese, bacon and more cheese. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Crust is a traditional type, crunchy and fresh tasting. Overall wonderful pizza. I can't wait to try another kind. The Don Gi's Fire Burger: let me tell you..this is one of the best burgers you will EVER have. Beef patty topped with provolone cheese, breaded and fried jalapeño pepper rings, bacon and a creamy chipotle mayo. You'll crave this burger! Flavorful, mouth watering, phenomenal burger. The pizza doesn't stand out. For what it's worth, it's pizza that seems to be at any other neighborhood pizza place. There's plenty of mozzarella cheese, just a little bit of sauce. Greasy on the bottom. Crust is hard although not burnt. Apparently the evening manager Roy loves to handle customers like they don't matter. After waiting 2 hours for a delivery. (We were fine with wait and understood weather conditions. Once the pizza finally arrived, they had delivered and incorrect pizza. I called and spoke to Roy and he said for me to deal with it Bc he has new customers he has to take care of. I told Roy that I simply wanted a credit for a portion of the pizza or even a phone call next time saying the pizza we ordered can not be made per that request. After asking Roy if I should receive a phone call his response was "I don't know. I'm busy, I can't call everyone" I then asked for his name and title and he told me If he has a problem with the way I handle his business to call and speak to the owner tomorrow bc at this point he doesn't care. Frankly, if Roy would've just listened he would've known he didn't need to bring another pizza out, Tell me to come up and pick up the mistake, or basically tell me my business didn't matter. I told him I would follow up with the owner tomorrow and he then said "I have your name and address basically threatening me over a pizza" This place used to be a good place to order delivery. I've had their pizza delivered for years. It has gone down hill. Since 2013 start, I haven't ordered from here cause its not worth it. The last pizza was so bad we threw it out. This is some of the best food in the old Brooklyn area. I love the burgers and specialty pizzas. The wings are always a good size and the sauces are excellent. Placed a delivery order on a football Sunday and was so pleased with the entire experience from the initial call to place our order, to the accurate wait time on the delivery, and the finally the quality of our food. This was my 1st time ordering from Don G 's and the food was great! I ordered an extra large sausage and pepperoni pizza, cheese stuffed bread sticks, and hot barbecue wings. The pizza was cheesy with a crisp crust that was not too thick and just the right amount of sauce. The sausage had great flavor that was not overpowering. The wings were huge, juicy, and had a delicious sauce on them. Very good! Oh and the bread sticks were like giant mozzarella sticks This is definitely my new pizza place!!! read more

So I had never heard of this place till a friend of mine told me that he he found these good wings in Cleveland (he's from buffalo, so he's a hater jk). From there I found some coupons in that random book u get them with ads in it and with saving comes more ordering stuff. So I call to order and the lady on the phone wasn't pleasant at all, these appears to be a trend in this whole Brooklyn old Brooklyn area. The person who takes ur order is just mad, clearly it's a thing. But to not let this evil person discourage u. The food was F'ing delicious. The Pizza was the best I've had possible ever. The wings were good, better than most but just good. I was told to order them extra crisp, which I forgot cause of the alcohol, so they might be great if I ordered them the way I was told by my buffalonian friend (I'll take part of the blame for the wings not being better). This little random a pizza spot was really good and would get 5 stars if it wasn't for the awful customer service. Did I mention they didn't have menus, they also don't have an online menu. If they had an online menus then I don't have to ask what kind of wings do u have whiiiiich prolly would have stop the lady on the phone from catching an attitude after reading 4 out of the 16 sauces, just sayin. This pizza place should be a full service restaurant. They have everything! I just recently started placing orders, 3 in the last 2 weeks. UNREAL FOOD! Burgers are better than the restaurants around here. The fresco burger is a big roll cut in half, both sides with melted cheese and pepperoni, angus burger in the middle, and marinara dipping sauce on the side! The ribs are just delicious and the smell is like grilling in the back yard! Cheese filled breadsticks and the sauce... it's dreamy. I highly recommend Don G's. The pizza, which is a mom and pop taste - not like those normal franchise places. The menu is so big! I cannot wait to try the spaghetti tonight, which I just ordered. Had a pizza delivered around 9pm 7/21/16. Opened box pizza was very burnt. Bottom was burnt and the crust was so hard from being burnt. the sausage was almost black. I immediately called Don G's and nicely explained to girl. She responded "I made that pizza and it is not burnt". She was very rude. We have gotton many pizza's there but never again. read more

Use to be my familys favorite place to order from for years and have always tried to give the small neighborhoods our patronage to keep them going. We would order a couple times a week spend quite a bit a money for a family of 5 that has a busy schedule. But will never order from them again. This place has gone down tremendously. The customer service and managers are rude and don't care about their long time customers that have been with them since theoir doors opened. They use to have the best wings and pizza and to cut cost they changed the wings so never ordered them again anb then they changed the sausage on their pizza it's the worst sausage I've ever tasted in my life. It doesn't taste like sausage at all its disgusting. Sometimes it's not worth cutting your cost of you are losing customers. It is that keep you in business and you don't appreciate your customers anymore. All my neighbors said they stopped ordering as well. Go back to your original sausage and wings and start caring about the neighborhood customers that keep you going. Your customer service is beyond awful will not order again until you change that nasty sausage and your employees attitudes that don't care how they serve your good after spending 50 bucks on an order at least 2 times a week. read more

Some of the toppings could be fresher but otherwise I love Don Gi's. The sandwiches are pretty good. Alot of the appetizers are just like frozen out the box stuff though. the service is good and delivery is always 45 minutes or less. read more
