In the end, Barone did not get me a plea deal that was any better than I could have gotten with a more affordable lawyer, and his extensions to the legal process timeline only extended my stress over the situation. Kristin is very knowledgeable and was able to provide guidance upfront on how to deal with some of the anticipated issues we'd be experiencing. While legal help can be expensive, I can genuinely attest that the fees we were charged were reasonable for the service provided-the one time we had an issue with an item on the Bill, my wife spoke with Kristin's assistant Alana and straightened out the charge in a few minutes. We eventually got pulled into a Probate Case which was contested in another area of Michigan, so it wasn't convenient continuing to use Kristen's services. She provided good service to line us up with an attorney in the area of the Court who did a good job handling us and bringing the case to closure. Let's face it, dealing with Probate issues is usually about as much fun as having teeth pulled. You're often locked in contentious battle with siblings and other family and that can be pretty unpleasant-it sure was for us.
