I also have had my dive gear serviced by Don. He is extremely skilled and very honest about the cost of parts for my life support system, etc. I also noticed that they have a lot of young, engaged dive instructors and their open water courses are always full. We worked with the owner and he was nothing short of fantastic. Totally surpassed any kind of expectation that we had. The instruction was guided by our pace of learning, we never felt rushed or silly for being somewhat hesitant. These guys are incredibly knowledgeable and patient. You will feel at complete ease in their presence and learn an incredibly cool skill! We just went back for a refresher course and again I was reminded of the kind of business they run and how they treat the people who come to them. Customer focused: Joe and Dianne were very accommodating to work around all of our schedules for our particular needs. They invested a lot of time with the kids, were patient, gave them great learning tasks and were very positive. Both kids loved them. Joe is an excellent instructor. Flexible: When I found out that I didn't have quite the same certification as I thought, they accommodated us with a very tight schedule graciously so I could get everything in and dive with the rest of the family on the trip. Expertise: As others have reviewed, the merchandise may be more expensive than online, but if you spend an hour with someone knowledgeable getting the right gear, should that expertise be free and the items sold at cost? If you want cheap and to figure it out yourself, go to Amazon. If you want someone who is knowledgeable and will help you find just the right thing and make sure you are prepared, support this local business. I wish I had known about it sooner!

Whilst I do like the park in it's entirety, the best part of Jamesville Beach Park is it's huge dog…read morepark. One thing I noticed about this park is that dogs are in general better trained here-- and that is because they have to be. This park is not fenced in like other dog parks. Instead, it is a huge open set of areas, including a path through the trees. You need to ensure your pup has good recall, likes to stay around you, or you'll need to make sure they are on a leash. I have only had a few hiccups here is with people not being the best trained. One person, without a dog, was just giving treats to all dogs that came up to them which was a bit frustrating and a bad behavior to teach. Also, people are terrible about picking up poop. You'll find dog poop and bags of dog poop everywhere--some of this I will blame on the park as its huge and there are only 2 places to put it. However. Its a huge place for my dog to run and he enjoys it-- and so do we, and as a bonus, he sleeps the rest of the day.

She has built a lot of independence there and she knows our walking route by heart. It's beautiful, well maintained, the trails offer a variety of difficulty, and there are several swimming spots for the dogs.
