I have been going to Dr. Rosenblum for quite a few years now and have convinced my wife and daughter to also become a patient of Dr. Rosenblum. If they were to rate his expertise they would also give a five star. So let me say, he is the most personable, kind, knowledgeable, caring and the go to doctor that you could possibly wish to have if you require medical intervention. And one very important observation that goes by most patients is that he is a "listener". Most doctors that I have gone to over my many years did not posses this quality. The woman that I spoke with was *very* difficult to deal with. When I reached out to her, explaining that this was a referral from another doctor. Her English was definitely not the best and she made no attempt to slow down her words. When she got to the membership fee, I was told that it was $500, to which I told her was too much. She then said "well, we can work with people. How about $400? Or $300?" The $500 sounds like a racket as it is but to haggle with you over a membership fee that a doctor SHOULD NOT BE CHARGING FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE reeked of sketch. Regardless, I trust the doctor that recommended Dr. Gilbert implicitly so I said that I'd be willing to pay the $300. The woman then told me to call my insurance to make sure that their office accepts my insurance. At that point, I asked her if I should be doing all of her work for her. "Isn't it YOUR job to make sure that you take my insurance?" Only then did she say she would try and call but she's "very busy and do not have all day to spend on the phone with insurance companies." She called back the next day to tell me that she couldn't get in touch with my insurance and that I'd have to do it myself. I don't care if Dr. Gilbert can cure cancer, HIV and dementia, the impression I get from her hired help is that she's a snake oil salesman hiding behind a membership fee. I'm not looking for a gym. I'm looking for a doctor. I looked elsewhere and so should you.

Unfortunately, her office just called to notify me about a $200 yearly membership fee, that would be due at the time of my first appointment. I've had this appointment for months, but they only gave me 10 days notice about a charge, not covered by insurance, to see a doctor who, despite the positive reviews, I'm not sure I'll like. It's like being surprised with a $200 copay that negates the point of having insurance. So disappointing... I'm sure she's a wonderful physician and me having to cancel my appointment is my loss, but new and current patients should be warned (with more than 10 days) that this office is charging everyone this fee going forward. This office should also not be listed on my insurance as in-network, because this yearly fee betrays the spirit of that.

Instead of listening carefully to the complex symptoms I've been dealing with, Dr. Miah and his assistant repeatedly interrupted my daughter--who was helping explain my history. They cut her off 6-7 times, not because she was unclear, but because they clearly couldn't follow or keep up with the medical information she was giving on my behalf. Rather than focus on me, the patient, the doctor became more interested in questioning my daughter's credentials, asking out of nowhere, "What do you do?" Not even her name--just what she does. When she said she's a medical student, he immediately pressed on: what year, where, and as soon as he heard "Grenada," the tone shifted. He and his assistant began mocking her, questioning her worth, her chances of getting a residency, and even asked her GPA--as if any of that had anything to do with my colonoscopy or medical care. It was deeply disrespectful, and frankly, insulting. Instead of doing his job, Dr. Miah chose to undermine and verbally attack a young medical student who was simply advocating for her father. My daughter, despite the harassment, held her ground and reminded him that her application will speak for itself--and that doctors should be more concerned about their patients than where a student goes to school. In response, he said, "I've been practicing for 31 years--I can't speak to your 2nd year student." His assistant then called my daughter "obnoxious and too sensitive." She calmly replied that if that's what they need to call her to feel better about being called out, so be it--but this wasn't care. This was bullying. When I tried to diffuse it and told my daughter "he's like your uncle," I quickly realized that was a mistake. These weren't elders offering wisdom--these were insecure professionals using age and status to belittle someone younger who knew what she was talking about. I have never walked out of a clinic more disappointed in my life. A simple routine colonoscopy consult turned into a display of fragile egos, misogyny, and academic elitism--all while ignoring the patient in front of them. But I also walked out proud--because my daughter stood tall, with intelligence, dignity, and courage. Dr. Miah and his assistant may have tried to tear her down, but they failed. I was there today for a follow up visit, my second meeting with the doctor . You will switch to this office after you read my review I guarantee you. First , the internist , who is my new primary care physician is a joy to be with . Bubbly , friendly , well concern about your health , very professional yet easy to talk with your concerns and issues, attentive, accommodating , considerate, efficient and productive. She will call you days after the result of your lab work whether it is within the limit or over and beyond the range limit and provide you with her medical advises . The medical secretary as well is very efficient, welcoming , nice and knowledgeable . The location of the office is in a corporate Medical building across Lakeville Shopping Center. Parking is huge. The office itself is clean and neat with free wifi . Easy to locate and situated in the same building as the quest diagnostic lab. Second I got a bill from my insurance for $78 for some test they did. I'm a healthy person and obviously they knew I was doing my physical since the doctor was very mean once I tried asking him something else. Not sure why they send test that are not included on the biannual check.
