Dr Koble filled in when David Santellan, my primary care didn't have an appointment available quickly. I called in the p.m. and got an appt at 9:40 the next day. Dr Koble and I discussed my symptoms and he proposed a plan to determine the cause. I obtained an x-ray exam that afternoon which was negative so I was given a referral for physical therapy. If the PT is not productive the plan is to get soft tissue analysis. Dr Koble was sympathetic, kindly and very responsive to questions. He explained in detail the possible causes for my condition and his reasons for following the above treatment series. I am very happy with his care. read more

Will confirm your appointment a week before hand, then cancel it without notification the next day. When I asked if they normally call to cancel, the receptionist made it sound like they've called me 17 times and sent 10 letters, which did not happen. Can't reschedule for six months. read more

Id give minus stars if I could. We had 2 appointments scheduled there for the same day. We called multiple times to let them know we were running 10 minutes behind. We ended up getting there 15 minutes late. Refused to see my wife. We drove over an hour. She did need to see a Dr. If you care about your loved ones. Do not bring them here. These people are snobby. I had a situation that required an urgent visit with my Doctor. Called at 2:00 PM and got an appointment for 9:40 the following day. Wait time was minimal (as usual) and I was in and out in 30 minutes. The issue was resolved, my anxiety level went back to normal (low) and it was another example of the excellent care I have received at Marshall over the last 20 years. read more

I have never been someone who goes to the doctor regularly because I HATE medical offices/hospitals with a passion. They make me super nervous, I don't like dealing with insurance, missing work for appointments, weird doctors, etc. Basically I don't go to a doctor unless I'm dying and I really need some help. As the new year started however, I decided that I should probably face my fears and find a doctor in my area. I also needed to renew a prescription that I had been out of for the last 7 months (because I am so averse to seeing a doctor). My boyfriend referred me to Dr. Young at Sierra Marshall Medical, and he ended up being absolutely fantastic. He was friendly and professional, refilled my prescription, and then asked me to set up a follow-up appointment with his female PA, Lori Heuser, so that I could get a full physical and blood work done. While I am so glad I went to doctor Young and had a good experience, I am BEYOND THRILLED to have met his PA, Lori. She is hands down, by far the best medical professional I've ever been to. She was so sweet and gracious and friendly-- she could tell I was nervous about being there and she just made me feel right at home (as "at home" as one can be in that situation). I felt like she really listened to me and my health concerns and she wasn't judgmental or dismissive; she was wonderful and I am going to recommend her to anyone and everyone who will listen to me. I definitely don't feel stressed about going back and I will probably make an effort to get regular check ups from now on. Also, Marshall makes it really easy to make appointments and view your medical history and prescriptions with their mobile app/website login option. Phone calls were not returned regarding billing practices. Visits were coded for maximizing financial returns. The providers were unwilling to code the visit as an establish care/wellness visit. The nurse practitioner I saw had a patronizing and scolding bedside manner. Am seeking primary care elsewhere. I started seeing this office about 6 months ago, after leaving the mercy system. I saw the nurse practitioner several times, waiting for a new doctor to begin practicing there, not sure about seeing a new dr. Well what a pleasant surprise, worth the wait. I saw Tracy N/P which I was very happy with, I then saw Dr. Jay, I don't think I have ever felt so comfortable on a first visit. As a new patient she took the time to learn about me and explained the direction we were going in to address my medical issues. Let me start my saying I have been a nurse for 17 years. I have worked with many doctors, hospitals and office staff. So I have seen the good,the bad,and ugly. My last encounter with this office staff was ugly. I was looking to establish care for my child. I had had a bad experience with Marshall pediatrics and was hoping that sense I had established care here it would be different. I was seen by Marshall pediatrics to establish care for my child who was well. The provider was unwilling to code the visit was an establish care visit and I was charged $145 for the visit. My insurance was more than willing to cover the cost if the provider would change the code, but they were not. So I called Marshall Sierra, they would not see my child for a well child visit until I establish care which would not be covered because my child was well. Then I was told to seek care somewhere else. The office staff was rude and very short with me over the phone. I will now have to travel out of town to receive care. I have never experienced this kind of disregard before. read more
