Very organized store and spacious since it combines home goods as well. I was able to take my time and look at everything without having a crowd of people around me. Also the employees were friendly and restocking selves and keeping things in order. I was able to get some good deals as well. The only draw back is the check out line was very long because they didn't have a lot of staff at the register. They need to work on that. But I will definitely be back. read more

I went to Marshalls Home Goods store today in Aventura, Florida looking for some graduation dresses for my granddaughters. I was lucky enough to find one that had a sale tag on it and took it to the register. When I took it to the register, the cashier said that the tag did not go on that dress. I informed her that I did not change it and that's the price that's on there and it should be honored. She called the manager Hector and he said that the entire tag should not have been on the dress apparently one of the sales people may have miss labeled it but it's not on sale. I asked him if he would honor the price since it is on there, and he informed me that he would not honor the price. He was very rude and disrespectful and almost implied that I was the one who changed the tag. I felt uncomfortable and I did not like the unprofessional customer service. Hector may need to be retrained or demoted as he does not appear to understand that the Customer is always right. And a tag on a item should be honored. I am appalled! We stopped here on the way home after meeting a friend for lunch in the area. We had some time before we needed to be on the highway. The store is huge. It has a LOT of inventory. And I mean a lot. And it is also a Home Goods store in the back. When we came it was quite busy with a lot of people in the store. I browsed the shoes, handbags, and the clothes plus a nice section of clearance items. I never even went to the back of the store to see the household items, linens, toys, gourmet foods, furniture, etc. etc. Luckily, there wasn't a wait to get into the dressing room. I actually found a couple tops that were perfect to replace some well-worn favorites. And my husband found a few things he liked, as well. The line to check out, however, was exceedingly long. And it seemed that we waited in line to pay for more time than we were in the store to shop. Some of the register lights had no people working at that station and some with people didn't light up. This particular store is always busy & has a serious amount of great deals on namebrand items. However, you do want to come here when they first open because the line & the amount of people who are entitled or not minding their children while they touch, grab, push & break everything along the way will ruin your perfect shopping trip! We go to this Marshalls and Homegoods location from time to time if we can't find what we're looking for at our local Marshalls. They have a good selection of everything. We've been able to find stuff for ourselves and our families multiple times. Clothes, shoes, home decor, etc. One of the bad things about this store is the fact that things are always so dusty. Every time we go we have to hope we won't leave the store looking like we got stung by bees and had an allergic reaction. If you suffer from allergies this isn't the store for you, and if you go, brace yourself. Team members are also not very friendly, there's barely anyone around if you need help. It'll probably be easier to find Waldo. The lines are also usually pretty long regardless of how many people are working at the registers so try to go during the day on a weekday if you can read more

I had shopped in several Marshalls stores but this one is my favorite. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The store is always stocked and there is always new products in the shelves. I also like that you can find Items and products for your home at the HomeGoods that is located inside the same store. I will no longer shop in the Aventura Marshall's store. There are so many displays set up where aisles used to be. Now, pushing a shopping cart is almost impossible because aisles are so narrow. I can't use a cart because there is no room for more than one cart or shopper with an armful of items to get around another shopper. Forget the displays, we like to shop the store to see what is new. The inventory has surely taken a dip here. I didn't come here for candles and kitchen dishes but that was the best of their variety. This used to be a secret jean destination but on my last trip here I was assured that notion was a relic of the past. The variety in business blouses and button down shirts isn't what it used to be. While the shoe department wasn't too awful, it certainly wasn't what I expected. The split floor plan of this department store is friendly Im terms of delegating which sections to browse while on a shopping trip here. The sunglasses seemed to all be disheveled so I didn't score a pair of beach shades on my visit here. I shop here at this combo store and the Homegoods in Oakwood plaza and coral ridge. Store is usually clean. There are rarely carts available. Rarely are you greeted. I bought a Tahari home gold/glass item. There was no price tag. I also needed to know if there were more at another location. The manager Leda M. made up a price for the item. Refused to call another location and refused to search for the item number for me. Magdalena seemed quite offended and protective when I asked for names of Leda M., the store manager etc.. Elaine G. Was the orginal person that I asked for help and she literally just walked away from me so that she could continue unloading merchandise. She asked for price, told me price came from Leda M. and when I inquired about manager whereabouts, she just walked away. Really? Galina was my cashier and was very nice and helpful. Lines are ALWAYS long.. Despite the people working and running place. Its a clean well stocked ( merchandise) store. Do not expect A Lot of friendly helpful customer service. Most employees have attitudes of just collecting a pay check and focusing on getting merch out on floor. There is no sense of urgency with being a speedy cashier. Really enjoy coming to this location. Only downer is the lines are always super long: anytime or any day you come. Just wish there was more cashiers. The cashiers and staff however are very pleasant and as a Marshall's and homegoods they have a great selection of products for both stores. Great location in a great area. read more

Well it's been two years and this Marshall's location is still holding it's place at 4 stars. Recently they re-did the store's layout than I walk in today and they re-did again. Perhaps they feel if they put everything in new places you can't just run in and out quickly. Like today I went I needed nothing after walking in circles I left with 2 bags of stuff that was bargains I couldn't live without. Than you get to the check out line another trap and another place to shop. This time I found Valentine's Annale dolls I asked two people on the floor and they say they don't have any. Truthfully at the time I felt they had no clue what I waa asking about. I don't expect help in this store if I ever got any first I would faint. Than when I came to I would re-write my review and they would get a 5. So getting back to the check out line today I did alot of my shopping here so how they planned it worked. This Marshall's/ home goods has a lot of good things like clothes for both women and men, they have suit cases and decorations for your home. They also have a lot of beauty things like makeup and hair products. But I will tell you what they don't have.... shoes or enough people at the cash registers And when they do have enough cashiers the line will still take forever!!!!! The problem isn't the store because you will take a quick trip around the store and everything is nice but when it comes to the line be prepared to wait at least an hour or two. But if you don't mind waiting in a long line then you should go and check it out. read more

Merchandise-wise it's not the best I've seen in Marshall's. Things are somewhat disorganized and lots of broken things. However, what really turns me off is their restroom.... totally disgusting. This large Marshalls / Home Goods store always seems busy. I was here at dinnertime on Saturday and it was a steady stream of people in and out. As always, I have my circle of areas to check for new treasures. On this day, I didn't have any luck in health / beauty, shoes pr women's. Marshalls typically doesn't have jewelry (costume) so that was no surprise. As this was late in the day, it was no surprise to find it messy. To a fairly loyal Marshalls shopper, this is not one of my favorite stores and a rarely make a special trip to this one. read more

This store is very busy and there is typically a line waiting to get in before 9:30am on a midday of the week of about 15 people, I guess because they have stuff no other marshalls carries. It is located right across the street from aventura mall and there is a Nordstrom rack in same shopping center but they open at 10. I do recommend you stay away on the weekends Friday-Sunday. read more

I had two separate transactions, the cashier charged me for two of the highest priced items on BOTH transactions claiming she'd deleted them from the first transaction. Fortunately I caught it and this was fixed after I completed the second checkout UNFORTUNATELY I did not realize I needed to check that every item was put in the bags she handed me. When I got home I found that I was missing an ENTIRE BAG OF MERCHANDISE! I'm going to the store tomorrow to see if they will fix this, if not I'm reporting them to the FTC because this is not only unethical, it's illegal. read more

I have a love hate with these discount "designer" stores. While this one has improved greatly in the past couple of years, it is still like shopping at a thrift store where you just don't know what you are going to get. The kids section in this store in Aventura is woefully lacking. It seems like it's got clothes for up to age 6 and then that's it. It does however have an interesting furniture and home furnishings section and is a great place for shopping for gifts or household items like a dozen water glasses for $10. I love it for the shoes. I don't think I've ever left this store without a pair of shoes. Rocket Dogs for $10. If you can get over the digging and digging through racks and racks arranged in no discernible manner for your size then you will find some great deals. If you are going in knowing EXACTLY what you are looking for then good luck finding it. I'm bumping them an extra star for the line at checkout. Spent an hour trying to return an item and was told at the end that they could not do the return and could not look up the item. Waste of time!! This Broward girl makes the drive to Aventura for this store. Let's face it, Aventura has a lot of expensive stores and people who enjoy big name brands. This Marshall's seems to cater to the need for pretty things. You're definitely going to find better brands and deals here rather than, say the one in Hollywood. I really like this location. I always find something good quality for a decent price and the purse selection is good too. Apparently everyone in Aventura shares the same sentiment because this Marshalls is jumping. The line to pay extends almost to the other side of the store and the bathroom looks like a bunch of barn animals had a stampede here.
