Although my focus this visit was selling and not purchasing, I can't ignore how great their selection is -- they have some really nice pieces. I also love that they use Facebook Live to promote items and that they operate two locations. And as a women-owned, Black-owned business, that's an even bigger reason for me to continue supporting them. Nothing against them, but they just never seem to have anything of interest to me. And when I do find something I like, it's usually not my size, so I'd just resolved that these shops are not for me. But when I stepped into New Digz, surprisingly, there were multiple items that I immediately fell in love with! This spot is definitely NOT your typical consignment shop. From the moment I walked in the door, the ambiance was that of a modern and contemporary boutique. From the dresses carefully chosen for the displays that greeted the new customers in the front windows, to the furniture, the layout of how things were placed, the adorable selfie station, and (most importantly) the inventory. Everything about this place MADE you want to buy something before you walked out of the door. I had to remind myself countless times that I was actually there to drop off items, not bring home items, because there was plenty there that I wanted to take with me. From purses, jewelry, scarves, shades, shoes, and even clothes for the kiddos, this place had some of everything! Now I will say that for me, driving to this place was a bit of a hike being that I live right outside of DC, but I must say that it was well worth the drive.
