She could have said `register 20 is open` And that would have been ok. But bellowing MOVE TO REGISTER 20! like an army sergeant was out of line. If you enjoy not being bothered by employees asking if they can help you, then this is the place for you. You might get lucky and find an employee but they are stocking shelves and not there to help customers. The only helpful people are at the customer service desk and the ones that are bringing stuff out to the cars for the people still worried about covid and can't come inside. There are a decent amount of good stores (American Eagle, Soma, Victoria Secret, Sephora, Kendra Scott, Bath & Body Works, Books & Co.) and some okay restaurants (Panera, Chipotle, Cheesecake Factory, The Pub, Coronado Taco), but there is a lot of empty restaurants as well as random stores. The two main nicest restaurants are now gone so you are only left with one higher end steak house. They definitely need to figure out how to revitalize the area. Parking is ample.

I think Meijers may be a bit more expensive than Walmart or Krogers but they do have weekly deals and a rewards program called mPerks. You can order stuff online and pickup at the store. There are pickup drive through lanes on the right side of the store. Recently, I ordered an HP printer that was on sale for $89.99. When I drove through the pickup line, the order ended up being $150.49 which was charged to my debit card. That is a negative and I did complain when I filled out an online survey. However, I then received a phone call from Bill A. informing me the printer was on sale when I ordered it but the sale ended when I went to pick it up. He said the sale price still should've been honored, but sometimes that does happen. They refunded the difference and it was credited back to my debit card in a few days. So, I believe they will try to make a mistake right. I go to this store from time to time, and although they occasionally run out of things, I think it is a good store.

And it was love at first sight. I must have tried on everything in the store, putting together pieces to mix and match to see me thru the next season. My husband (who is never a patient shopper but was that day) finally said "Make up your mind...they've been closed for an hour" I had no idea, so I apologized and was told that was perfectly fine cause they were enjoying helping me. That's the thing about this company - they treat their employees well and I've never met anyone who didn't love their product and love working here. If wanted a job I would be working for them. But it's all about the clothes - the comfort and feel. And wearability. And how they make you feel. You can dress it up or dress it down...Whether planning to spend the day in the kitchen or go to a ball (I have worn a dress I bought here to a formal ball). I have clothing that is years old that never wears out. I might get sick of wearing it, but it doesn't wear out. It used to be when I got a new catalog, I would have to jump in the car and head to Cincinnati. Everybody there knew my name and said they had been waiting for me to show up! So it was a happy day when they finally came to Dayton. And now we have two here...they make it easier to locate my size. But this is my home store...and they not only know my name, they know my number. And when I say "call me when this jacket comes in" I know my phone will be ringing in a matter of days.
