Decided to use a cashier instead of self checkout, But wish I had`nt! Walmart on Wilmington in Centerville, 8/18/2026 register 19 , Cashier`s name Leslie, I walk up to her and she yells MOVE TO REGISTER 20! I did`nt move fast enough for her,So she yells MOVE TO REGISTER 20! I said you don`t need to yell at me , She yelled I DId`nt yell at you ! Then starts laughing at me with other customers. She could have said `register 20 is open` And that would have been ok. But bellowing MOVE TO REGISTER 20! like an army sergeant was out of line. While leaving, another customer told me she`s always rude like that. That kind of employee is part of What gives Walmart a bad name. I thought this was a better Walmart......Not anymore. read more

The girl with the wig that looks like it was $5 on shein and was working registers at 9:30 pm on Monday the 6th of April was obviously having a horrible night. She was horribly rude to us for absolutely no reason after asking a simple question about the product I was going to buy but just ended up leaving a not purchasing anything. There's many different versions of Walmart and then there is this one. Which is like shopping in an apocalyptic trailer park ghetto wasteland. The store, especially the restroom, is absolutely vile. Human excrement in the aisles and dirty diapers shoved into the refrigerated sections. The music is so loud that you have to shout to be heard and then there's the Walmart DJ, constantly pressuring you to buy a cell phone or some other "great" Walmart item. The employees are mindless zombies with the personalities of turnips and don't even try and walk past the old man buy the door without showing him your receipt, he actually grabbed my wife and tried to stop her from leaving. One of the many overpaid "managers" said he was just doing his job after calling me buddy and said we can let the police sort it out. Which I welcomed, especially since we didn't buy anything because the store was so disgusting. I think I hurt his feelings when I told him this. For the life of me I can't understand why so many people shop here. Employees are few and far between and not customer friendly at all. Bob swears he will never shop here, and I do infrequently cause it is nearby. Yesterday we decided we need a new computer cause ours is old and slow. So I tasked Bob with finding the best price online and he came up with Walmart. So I put on my big girl pants and we headed here. First of all, they weren't as cheap as online. And even thought we were serious shoppers none of the three employees working this area approached us (or anyone else in the vicinity.) One sat next to his register and just watched us over his cane. Why do I want to reward this with my hard earned money. We decided to go to Staples next door even if it meant spending a little more. And the best surprise was it was cheaper! One their location never answers the phone. You stay on hold so no chance of getting in contact with people. But online Walmart says they accept Venmo for in store and online purchases. But I tried to pay with Venmo at the store and they said they don't accept it. Very inconvenient. Tried Apple Pay. Still wouldn't take it. read more

On 11/26/2022 I went to your Walmart location in Centerville Ohio 8800 Kingsridge Dr, Dayon Ohio 45458. I went in about 9:40 p.m to get a curtain rod and some curtains for my new home. When I get to check out, I noticed one of the curtains were ringing up wrong. I told the teller, he stated that he would get the manager. Out comes this guy named William. Immediately William was short and seemed bothered that he was called to the front to help. I told him the situation and he immediately (before letting me finish my sentence) stated, im not changing the price. I explained all he had to do was either go back to the curtain section and see or send someone to look and see the real price. Again, he goes to cut me off mid-sentence and say "Im not going to override the price". "Human error" So we continued to go back and forth until he insinuated that I would "Steal" the curtains. I then told him to stop talking to me, and I was done talking to him. Im sure Wal-Mart sees a ton of theft, but for me to be standing at the register with items scanned and simply stating the price was marked wrong and he himself could see that would not warrant me stealing. What warranted his comment was that I was a black woman. Even to the point that one of the other customers look disgusted at his comment. I am a shopper who spends plenty of money with Wal mart and should have NEVER experienced what I experienced last night simply because I wanted to be charged the RIGHT price. He suspended my transaction and told me to get out, while calling the police. I did not cause a scene and did not refuse to leave, not to mention having my child and little sister with me. Calling the police for a price change? We all know what happens when the police are called on African Americans in SIMPLE situations. He was annoyed from the very start, and I cried the entire way home from the embarrassment. Situations like this one cannot continue to happen at your stores. I am a constant paying customer and people like "William" are the reason why Wal Marts stay in the news. He doesn't know me and had NO reason to immediately be nasty and unwilling to do his job. An the "stealing" insinuation is just disgusting. I am a great person, who does not steal or even must, I have the funds to get what I want. But this needs to be addressed and resolved. The situation could have been completely different, but his ignorance and arrogance clouded his judgement. William is a problem. read more

The staff at the automotive center are a joke! Some of the most incompetent workers i have ever seen. Act like you are a bother to even ring you up or come to the service desk to help you. Lost my keys for two days-then ten days later the tire blew out. Had to pay for second tire, wouldn't this have been a manufacture defect?! Not happy at all, should have paid $50 more $ and went to a more reputable service center. Also sorry that i had to get an employee down off a ladder to come help me out at the service desk. Maybe she should think abt a job where she don't have to deal with face to face public contact. read more

This wal-mart there electric carts for the disabled are a joke. You can't even get part way through the store before they start showing low battery. When I get the cart it shows full charge. These batteries only last about 15 minutes of you are lucky. read more

I ordered a birthday gift online. I thought it was going to be quicker than amazon (item was on back order). The item from Walmart was due to arrive 7/11/19. The next day I get an e-mail stating Walmart is going to start doing next day delivery. That would have been a nice option for me, however I was not concerned because the birthday party was not until the 12th. Thankfully, I choose to track my item being shipped from Fed Ex. After watching the item sit for two days with the status of label created in AR. I get a update that the package will not arrive until the 12th! This will now cause me to go home to get the gift before the party, if it even arrives to OH on the 12th. I am unsure how this company will get a one day shipment right when they can't get it right over several days. I would not recommend using Walmart if you need something quickly! This place is just poorly managed. You can never leave without items remaining on your list. However, there are some great staff members that at least make the experience pleasurable. They are the only reason I gave this place 2 stars. I was kind of shocked with it being in the location it is but after all, it is Wal-Mart. Called in advance to see if I could get my tire plugged, they said to come in ... only 3 cars here. When I arrived, I was told they were closed and not taking anyone else.... this was a 30 minute difference! I got there at 5:30!! What added insult to injury, the lady working the desk was getting her tire plugged!!!which is the reason I was there!! They advertise that they stay open until 7 !! read more

What an awful experience! What the hell is wrong with these people? So I called the auto center last week and asked the price to get TPMS sensors installed in my tires. The woman working the desk barely spoke english, knew nothing about tires, cars, or anything that would make her a good person to be running the auto care center. So she put me on hold (for about 10 minutes) then FINALLY I talked to one of the service techs and he quoted me $5 per tire to install TPMS sensors. He also said that they did not stock them and told me to buy them separately and bring them in. So I went on Amazon, ordered them, a few days later they arrived, I called walmart, scheduled an appointment, and then when I got there (after they had pulled my truck into the garage) they told me it was actually $10 per wheel. So the moron on the phone lied to me about pricing. Then after sitting in the waiting room for about 20 minutes, the incompetent moron working the desk calls me (yes she called me when I was standing right next to her) she eventually figured out I was standing next to her....then a service tech told me that their TPMS relearn machine was broken and they couldn't do it. So I wasted nearly an hour! Bottom line here is DO NOT go to the walmart auto center unless you enjoy and look forward to shitty service, being lied to about pricing, and completely wasting your time. I WILL NEVER buy tires from walmart again after this god awful experience. read more

This Walmart is a Walmart, but the management there are SO RUDE. I called to ask about a swimming pool. I intended to spend 500+ dollars at this place. I called and got a girl who literally answered with "What". She eventually connected me to the courtesy desk or returns or something, and they too answered with "What?". They then were very rude and annoyed at any question I asked and seemed to spitefully not know. I'm so nice and sweet on the phone and they were just mean! Went to this Wal Mart due to the selection of firearms they keep in stock, was wanting to get a 22lr for my kid to shoot with my wife and I at spring valley range, kid behind the counter was an absolute idiot, he had no idea of what a 4473 was, or even how to do a ncis check, but he proceeded without supervision and my wife got "delayed" she has never been delayed no have I, so i asked them to verify the information that was told to the feds be checked for error. they said it was, but upon re inspection of the 4473 the salesperson told the feds invoice number as the SS# and not my wife's actual SS#,,, once confronted with this they said the sale is now void and they refused to sell or even reapply. Wow talking about making you feel like a criminal and embarrassment, Needless to say the kid stated this was his 3rd sale and first delay, Why wasn't management supervising this guy with a key to peoples information? I will spend the extra coin and go to a local gun shop for now on,, rather pay the extra for competence when dealing with personal information then some kid fresh out of high school working for 7.25 making walmart rich. read more

Understand the 2 stars are for the employees who continue to work there because the management is piss poor and unorganized. They are also very out of touch with what happens in their store. DO NOT EAT THE ROTISSERIE CHICKENS because say if someone gets a green chicken for whatever reason management does not take corrective action to fix the problem (yes, this actually happened because an employee recooked old chickens from the previous day). As a recent former employee just watch out for your own health, pay attention to the stickers on products, and do be afraid to ask about the food you're getting. read more

As a new resident of Ohio, I took a job at subway that is located at 6244 Wilmington Pike, Centerville, OH 45459 inside the Walmart. On my first day of work I immediately noticed the filth. The fridge was full of mold. The mold was hanging over the open food the vegetables were rotten and they still served them. By law every four hours the tea was supposed to be changed and when I went to dump the tea it was chunky. It's been sitting there at least for a week. I worked there for 3 days before I quit and I advise you don't eat there! You or some one you love could get seriously sick or even die. They also own the subway next door and if one store is that bad I don't know the quality of the other one. This place seriously needs to be shut down. read more

Kristine in the deli is awesome. She will core a pineapple for you and all you have to pay for is the pineapple. Usually if you get them pre-cored they are so expensive. I was shopping around and she brought out fresh berries for me to choose from and fresh corn on the cob. Then she told me meijer had corn cheaper (which I didn't know) and to tell the cashier and they would match the price. I was blown away by the customer service. Highly recommend read more

I came to get my tire plugged. I was planning on just dropping it off and picking it up later. The rep told me just to stay and they'll have it done soon. One hour later I'm still waiting and doing what I was trying to avoid, sitting in Walmart when I have other things to do. Staff has been pretty unresponsive and even blind to customers. Workers standing around talking to each other while customers are left waiting. Another reason not to come here again. Only gave them two stars because it was fixed for a reasonable price. read more

I buy my groceries at kroger,walmart, whole foods, traderjoes, etc. One week I bought my veggies on Friday as usual but we ended up leaving for the weekend. I was shocked to find my ONION had mold, my tomatoes had mold, and my green chillies grew mold. Normally my vegetables from Kroger will last me at least 1 whole week. I was disappointed at how quickly my walmart vegetables spoiled I DO NOT recommend the grocery section of walmart. In fact I think they should have a food superviser check the department for quality. read more

I know what you might be thinking. "Walmart is for hillbillies who just got back from hunting and want beef jerky." But admit it. You still go there anyway. There are the hillbillies who will go in, there's no doubt about it. But there are so many kinds of people who shop there. You've got the awkward sweaty 37 year old man who is standing in front of you at the checkout purchasing hair regrowth ointment. Or you have the 84 year old lady who takes 29 minutes to buy a single tomato. Or there are the teenage guys who go in for energy drinks, slim jims, and 3 bags of buffalo wings. There are also the ladies who shop there who wear spandex, but 9 out of 10 people think they should GET THE HECK OUT OF THAT SPANDEX AND TRY A SALAD. I only named a few kinds of people. I loved shopping at this Wal-Mart over the one in Xenia.Even though the Xenia store was way more convenient to my location,I liked the vibe of this store a lot more.Plus the drive out here was always nice and scenic for me.Only thing i found odd between the 2 stores was the price of Tilapia was more at this location,for the exact same product. read more
