I had a great trip to Marshall's! I came to Marshall's to try and find an affordable bag of coffee, as prices at the grocery store have unfortunately skyrocketed recently. Luckily, I was able to find a solid bag for $7 or $8, which for someone on a budget like me, was a lifesaver! On my way to check out, I also found something else that I had been looking for - a quality, yet affordable razor! I had been looking for one of those at all of the major outlets, but hadn't been able to find one at the right combination of quality and price. Luckily, I was able to find one at Marshall's! The only reason I'm not giving five (5) stars is because there was a massive pothole right in front of the store, which could really mess your vehicle up if you aren't paying attention. I'm not sure if that's the store's fault or not, but they should really get that fixed. All-in-all however, Marshall's seems like a great place to stop in and look for an item or two (2) that you can't find anywhere else for a reasonable price. As such, I'd highly recommend! read more

I needed retail shopping today so my first spot was Marshall's. Marshall's always fills me with good shopping vibes! Nothing like going to a store that is clean, organized, and has great deals! This store has so many amazing finds. With the Holidays right around the corner, this is the perfect spot to shop for your family and friends. Even though there are times it is busy it is truly worth the experience. I don't mind waiting, because I am sure I am coming out with some fabulous purchases. Stopped in Marshall's yesterday to grab a quick outfit for an outing and they were in the vicinity of where we were eating. So before everyone got to the restaurant, I rushed over. This Marshall's is located in a plaza that was effected by the floods and they rebuilt the plaza. It looks very nice. So anyway, parking was easy. I walked in and went straight to the workout clothes and found my leggings and then to the men's section for me a tee shirt. I didn't have much time to search in my section and this one was right in front of me on the wall. I grabbed it and left. I went to the registers and was called immediately by a cashier who was so sweet. I checked out and was off to my luncheon with my coworkers. Any real marshals shopper knows that when you go to Marshalls, you have to take two things with you. 1. You need to take a lot of patience. I say this because it is not a sure thing. In that you might not find what you were looking for and you maybe looking at standing in long lines. 2. Don't be in a rush, it's easy to say take your treasure hunting skills for someone who loves looking for a bargain. But when going to a place like marshals it is a good idea to take your treasure hunting skills as you do typically have to dig through and look for different things. This particular location is well put together and much like most of them is pretty large and has everything that you are probably looking for I didn't need any of the things that I walked out of this location with but I think that is always how it goes. If I am ever in the Columbia area again I will definitely find myself back in this marshals location. 3. read more

Stopped here after lunch yesterday traveling back home to Charleston. The store was clean, organized, and the restrooms were clean. They had a great selection of items. No complaints here on this Marshall's! The staff was nice as well and the line for check out went quick. read more

This new Marshall's store is awesome! I used to hate digging through racks of clothes hoping to find my size and something I like. Now they have it set up more like a boutique with thoughtful displays, grouped items, and the shoes are stacked by style, not size. It makes it easy to locate a style you like and then check if your size is available. Marshall's is a great place to buy gifts-- they carry great items at a fraction of what you'd pay elsewhere. Marshall's is amazing, it's just like TJ Maxx! They have some awesome name brand stuff at this location too. I found Marc Jacobs makeup here which would normally sell for well over $50, but the foundation I bought was only $13 and it's my favorite foundation I've ever used! The shoe selection when I came was really slim, but everything else was great. I do a lot of my shopping at TJ Maxx and this Marshall's. This location is super convenient for me and closer to my house than the TJ Maxx locations we have in the area. They also have some really cute home decor. Great place to get just about anything! I love Marshall's don't get me wrong! This one in particular has made me a little upset twice before. Once when trying to return a curling iron - they would not let me return it because they were convinced I used it which is why I was returning it and said they couldn't return used items. So people that try on clothes and then return them because they do not work out are not actually able to return them? The lady told me that was correct. (I know that never happens). I asked for the manager and eventually was able to return the curling iron. Now I'm upset because I'm trying to give this location a chance since I live closer and drive out on Sunday to get there at 10am because I had to get to work by 11 and guess what.... they aren't open until 11?! I called and asked why they have 10am listed online and they told me they couldn't change it. It's a very easy fix if someone has actually been proactive about it. She said it didn't matter because they had it listed on their door. Well it's too late when you get up to the door... multiple cars had pulled in with me and after me all just as upset because they checked to make sure it was open before driving all the way there. Just do the bare minimum Marshall's and everyone will be happy. read more

I'm happy to have a marshalls in town so I don't have to drive to Harbison if I want to shop. For the size of this store, they have a lot of great finds. I see Lilly Pulitzer, Nike, vineyard vines, and a lot of name brand beauty supplies in here frequently. It has a way better selection than the average marshalls, in my opinion. I always find what I'm looking for here. read more
