T.J. Maxx is one of those stores that you have to prepare for. Every time I shop there I spend more than I planned! How can you not?! T.J. Maxx has a great selection of items from clothes, handbags, skincare and home decor. Great place to shop whether it's for a date night, school or party. Plenty of items to grab to fill your buggy! The store was cleaned and organized while I was there shopping. Customer service was good and helpful. Found some really great inexpensive items! I enjoyed my shopping experience there this weekend. This is a great place to find brand names at great prices. I've been coming here for years and it's always been great. Recently, I've experienced exceptional customer service from the cashier and the manager. They were very helpful and friendly in answering questions and offering solutions. Tip for even deeper discounts: Once a year they have a friends and family event where people can get an extra 10% discount. You can also sign up for a credit card and earn 5% credit back in rewards. I've never had a bad experience at this TJMAXX! The workers have been friendly & helpful for as long as I can remember. I like to shop at Marshall's, TJMAXX & HomeGoods for candles. They have thee best candles & they're reasonably priced! DWHOME is my go to candle brand. Their brand has quite a few good smelling candles but the Lavender Chamomile is my absolute favorite! read more

I'm never disappointed when shopping here, except when I can't find something to fit me the way I like. However, I never leave empty handed because there is always something else to catch your eyes. This particular trip I was looking for some new shirts. It's the start of summer and I just wanted some fresh new looks, but I didn't find anything that really striked me to purchase. I was also looking for some new sandals but could not find anything in my size. I did find these tasty snacks that I can only find here or at their sister store Marshalls. I had to stop myself from buying the cute mugs that they always have on display as you are standing in line. I also looked at a few planters because you know hey I have a lot of plants. I love TJ Maxx! It's one of my favorite stores to shop in and usually provides an excellent shopping experience. So I was disappointed when I visited this location today. I have a routine I follow when I shop in TJ Maxx. I start at the front and look at the handbags and smaller accessories and then go to the jewelry counter. I found a necklace. I wanted and told the cashier that I would take it. While she was ringing it up, another associate came from behind me and said ma'am, go ahead and ring up your other items here. I did have a gift boxed bracelet in my basket, so I put that on the counter and rang it up too. The associate proceeded to touch the items in my basket, and insist that I pay for them at the jewelry counter. I told her I was not finished shopping and will bring up the other items, a couple of scarves, to the front cashier when I finished shopping. I'm sure that her job is to help eliminate shrinkage, but I felt a bit harassed and that ruined the shopping experience for me today. read more

Shop, shop, shop til you drop! Great TJ Maxx. Lots of fun and interesting options in all the categories. Clean and easy to find restrooms. Lots of purse options and shoes as well. They also have a great selection of costume jewelry. I've always been treated well at this location by all the staff. They are usually trying to sign me up for the rewards program or credit card but if you can just exchange the money with them and get out the door, this is a great spot for a good deal. read more

I am a lover of all things TJ Maxx so I'm upset that I have to give this location only three stars. While the inventory was still great it was super messy within the store. Clothes that had obviously fallen on the floor were just placed on top of the racks and everything was so disorganized in the home goods and pet departments. The biggest let down was the service. I know how retail can be during the holidays because I've worked it in the past and I'm assuming that the employee we checked out with was just having a bad day. Overall I will still come back because of the TJ Maxx name, plus they have different things than the store in Lexington! read more

Manager and cashier claimed I had worn a sweater I was returning because it "smelled like perfume." The tags were literally still attached in the armpit of the sweater, so I certainly couldn't have worn it without looking like an idiot. read more

My husband and I were in line for checkout approximately 1:15 pm on Friday November 9th. We noticed a customer leaving the checkout, register #4 light on, so we proceeded to register. The cashier left her register to fold and label behind the register. After unloading about 100.00 dollars worth of items onto the table, I asked, ARE YOU OPEN? With hardly turning around to acknowledge me, she says, No. The register light was still on! I do believe that I was discriminated upon. I will never checkout at her register again! How can someone be so rude? I try to live my life the way Jesus wants us too all get along. We All need to treat people better. I worked retail before, and it's hard work. Without customers there wouldn't be a store. read more

I purchased several earrings for a family member's birthday, but decided to return one after it was not well received. I gave it to the lady at the desk counter and she said no way this is not The price of this one, it must be one of the less expensive ones which I assured her it was not. But she continued saying it was not the correct one and I told her there was another one like it, she went off to look at it repeating that that was not the correct price. I was embarrassed, but I went with her and I found the second one and showed it to her to prove that I was requesting the correct refund. There has to be a better way to do this without embarrassing a customer. read more
