It was a huge selection of everything. And it didnt feel over crowded nor rushed. Even the checkout process, though it was about 30mins in line. It was such a cool experience.. we were just vibing n going with it. Again it never felt over crowded, overwhelming or unsafe. Only issue was calling Uber for a ride back to the hotel. I was shopping in Ross Dress store in Wichita Falls, Texas tonight and picked up a water bottle…read morefrom the shelf. The lid was not tightened which caused the bottle to drop onto the floor. This water bottle had a plastic lid and the bottle part was made from a ceramic material which shattered after it fell onto the floor. This bottle which was partly made from a ceramic material was on the shelf among other water bottles which were metal and plastic. As this bottle was ceramic and capable of breaking and shattering, which is what happened, why would the store place this item alongside bottles that were not breakable. I removed 98% of the pieces from the floor and noticed that an employee started to picked up what was left. She came beside me and picked up a few remaining pieces without inquiring about my involvement and whether or not I had been cut or hurt in the incident. I called the manager after leaving the store and he said she did not ask because they were short on employees and did not have time to inquire. I informed him that we were short on employees where I worked also; but, we were expected to assist customers and show compassion and concern. He seemed in a rush to end the conversation and said he was aware of the incident; however, he did not provide interest. He asked if I was ok after I informed him that the employee did not inquire if I had been hurt. This incident at Ross where an item was incorrectly placed on the wrong shelf alongside items that were totally different created a situation that could have been extremely serious. If a child, or even an elderly person, had picked up the ceramic bottle that was placed next to the plastic and metal bottles the child could have been seriously injured from broken glass as the bottle fell to the floor. In the past I have visited and made countless purchases in Ross Dress store in Wichita Falls, Texas. I will not shop in this store in the future as it has a dangerous environment created by poorly trained employees and manager who are not apologetic for their negligence and lack of interest for customer safety.

Nonetheless, it's a decent store, though not the cleanest, but it's a major chain grocery store, so it's understandable that it's difficult to manage, especially when some of their customers never put their belongings back where they belong. But, I mean, it contains pretty much everything you'll ever need, not to mention that the staff is usually friendly and helpful if you ever need assistance. If you're in a hurry, need a few goods, or maybe need to do grocery shopping, this is the place to go. Anywho this is funny on our part we were looking in the boys section (they had polo) and I told my hubby maybe the biggest boy size would fit him.. next thing you know a short "security" pops up out of nowhere and grabs the shirt from us saying she needs to put a lock on the tee.. she takes forever, then she tells us we're in the boy section that the men section is on the other side... we told her we knew that but my husband wanted to try it on which first of all shouldn't even have to be explained... okay we grab two polos and continue on... oh and just to say my husband is not the tallest or widest hence why I suggested he try on a boys XL polo. So then we walk across to the men's Levi's.. as we're walking around she's standing there again!! Short petite woman maybe filpino idk... I'm like okay is she following us around thinking we're going to steal.. so my husband finds his jeans he wants he asks her to take the tie lock Off and she says she doesn't have the magnet key to take it off lol I was ready to just leave. But he wanted some jeans so we ask an associate and she goes to find one and she unlocks it then puts the jeans back on the rack instead of handing them To us since helllooo?! We are standing right there waiting. These people definitely need customer service skills. And you shouldn't judge or follow around people either. Anyways he did get 3 pairs of jeans but we were there an hour just because of the "locks" in the clothes.
