This has become one of my go-to boutiques in the last few months. Literally, if I need a dress for an occasion (which has been happening A LOT recently) Indigo is the first place I go. First off, everyone that works there and the owners and stellar. So friendly, so fun, they feel like extended family and it's always a pleasure walking in. No stuffy attitudes here. The selections are so diverse and I have become a super fan of a lot of the indie labels they carry which are newer to me but exquisite. The quality of the clothing they carry is *chef kiss* fab. I have found beautiful and unique dresses lately that I know not everyone else will have. The sizing can be limited, they'll carry a 1-2 pieces in each size and once they're gone they're gone. You can't even find them online. The prices are not extraordinary but are boutique pricing. The dresses I have purchased in the last few months range from 130-230. Their tees are in the $40-70 range. There's a pair of joggers I am dying for that are around $240 themselves even the before the matching jacket. It depends on the label and such, but you won't find poor quality stuff that is jacked up. Everything is well worth the price. The jewelry is some of the most beautiful unique pieces I've seen in the area. A lot is handmade by a few jewelry designers. OOAK stuff and priced appropriately for the stones and metals used. Statement pieces that will knock your socks off. I love supporting local business owners and I love finding a place that I immediately can go by real fast to to grab something without having to run all over downtown or Uptown to find something incredible and unique. read more

I purchased a great book but I couldn't take it with me because it was really big and Denise mailed it to me that same night. She went above to help me find places to eat and explore while in Dallas. First off I want to say that the clothes here ARE both trendy and comfortable BUT I refuse to pay a dime to anyone who refuses to offer good customer service. I walked into this store excited after seeing some of their items on line and ready to break my bank but all of that quickly came to halt. I was not greeted or even looked at really and left to dig for my sizes through stacks of clothing. I understand that this may be common on an extremely busy day but there were only a few people in the store! During this short visit, I did notice the men's and women's selection of gear was evenly split which is always a nice surprise and the boutique even had delicious smelling body products bottled in funky containers. The average price for a ladies top was around $50 and they do carry some premium denim brands here. I would have loved to score some western themed accessories or a stressed vintage style tee but was turned off by the lack of service in the air. read more

This shop is so cute! I met up with some friends here to check out the store and some fragrances, and we all fell in love! The owners this day had a fragrance table set up to sniff fragrances. I think it's a great concept, so you can try something new. Everyone was gathering around the area to check out the wonderful niche scents they have. I was very impressed that they have so many non mainstream type scents, as this is very hard to find in Dallas. They also have beautiful jewelry and clothing . Keith and Denise were very accommodating and helpful on anything that was needed and I love that! We felt very welcomed! I highly recommend this shop! I love this store, however I am disappointed and giving a low score due to them not being open at the time they advertise. I took time from my morning routine before work to stop by and pick up a gift. I arrived on time at 10am, and though the hours on every website, as well as the door, show an opening time of 10am, they were not opened. I called to see if maybe someone was in the back getting things ready, and no one answered. I waited 15 mins and finally had to leave. read more

I just love this place... the owners are so cool and the items in the store appear to be hand picked. It's a style type place where it would be easy to make an outfit, especially with their help. I love supporting local owners and I think this place is worth it. Funny story: I bought me some great house slippers and they gave me 2 to put on before I left. I wore them out of the store and came home. I kinda thought the left one was a little bigger than the right... but yaknow sometimes our feet can be different sizes. Next morning I look and they were 2 different sizes... back to the store I go. Turns out the 3rd shoe was IN THE BOX I brought back! Hiding under the paper? Oh my goodness we got a serious laugh out of it. Aside from the slip up it gave me a second chance to check the place out. I found the clothes on the slimmer side... sure wish I could fit some of them ;) read more

This is a "preppie" "collegiate" themed store w/ a twist of urban chic. Women's Clothes: I wear a size 18-20 so I can't fit anything here:( but that's my fault, too many restaurants! Men's clothes: The madras shorts in the window drew me in! They were Jetlag brand and were on sale $105 down to $65. The shorts were really soft and look so handsome on Luis! The shirts were nice too, but we did not get any this time! The leather belts are beautiful too! The Jetlag madras shorts were were so nice that Luis wore them and put his jeans shorts into the bag. We're still celebrating Luis birthday:) Purses: beautiful and stylish w/ goldtone accents to match gold jewlery. Candles: $30, there is this one fragrance: Istanbul that I'm sure I'll get one day. read more

Places like this make me wish I knew what the hell I was doing when it comes to fashion. Sure, I might technically be female, but being an engineer (and with it, 99% left-brained), I have zero clue about style or aesthetic. More often than not, the thought of shopping gives me an anxiety attack. But I dream of being able to wear the funky, cool clothes in stores like Indigo. Add to it that the shop has fun jewelry (that I can't figure out when/how to wear) and great soaps/scrubs (score - I know what to do with those!), and I just walk around and drool or get panic attacks if I try to consider what color/style option would be best for me. My visit to Indigo during the Bastille celebration was unique in that there were about 5 times the amount of people in the store than I had seen on my last visit. The girl at the cashier looked pretty overwhelmed by the crowd (a la deer in headlights), but she was nice and helpful when I asked if they had any more of the lavender scrub I sampled from the testers. Previously, the atmosphere has been much more relaxing and mellow, which seems to better suit the place. Don't miss all the small trinkets, cards, and accessories - they're so fun! My husband found a great pair of orange shorts - he has more of an eye for fashion than I do [pout]. The shorts seemed to run a bit big, but I explained to him that if I know one thing about fashion it's to rejoice when something runs big - yay for suddenly becoming a size smaller than last time! I don't know if that's the sizing across the board, but it could be worth noting. Yeah, the place is overall a bit pricey, but it's just so darn cute that I find it hard to hold that against it. read more

Indigo is absolutely my favorite place to buy designer jeans! Denise, the owner, is regularly there on weekends and evenings. She always helps me pick the most flattering jeans. Her own fashion style is effortlessly hip and always provides inspiration for the latest trends. A few of my faves in the store include the Niven Morgan collection of candles and fragrance. The men's section is pretty awesome too. Indigo also carries a ton of unique bracelets, cuffs, and necklaces. So if you are looking for a perfect gift for a friend or something special for yourself, treat yourself to this eclectic mix of high fashion and locally made jewelery. I stumbled upon this shop while spending time in Bishop Arts District, while on vaca. From the moment I entered the shop I felt welcomed. The shop owner was in and was extremely pleasant and engaging. The shop has clothes, jewelry, soap, shoes, and what nots. If you are looking for a gift or something for yourself you are bound to find something. A lot of the jewelry they carry is made my local artist, which is always good in my book. We absolutely love this place! Denise and Keith are the nicest people around and love to support local designers! They have an impeccable eye for fashion and have some of the coolest stuff around! My wife works at Neiman Marcus and despite the discounts she gets, she regularly buys clothes from Indigo. I hate shopping for clothes usually but every once in awhile, I have to indulge myself and get a shirt or a belt from this boutique. The products are always fresh and fun! read more

Very cool store--everyone in my family left happy! Husband loves his new shirt, one son scored a very nice stainless steel wallet and the other found a hip hat. I could have bought 5 new outfits, but was pleased with the funky maxi skirt and the gorgeous "boyfriend shirt" that I'm sure I'll wear all the time. Fantastic customer service, interesting selection of really nice clothing and accessories, and a really personal feel. I'm not a shopper, but I could get used to this store. Go check it out.
