Then the guy said that markdowns are not marked off by pen. Then I told him that there were 2 of the same things marked the same way. I went to the shelf and showed him the other 2 items with the same pricing. He consulted with his coworker and decided to call the store manager. The manager said no and it would still need to be at regular price. I've never had this happen. Usually when there is a price difference and you find others with the same price, they honor the marked price. It was an unpleasant experience and probably need to revamp their policies to honor prices that are marked, especially if there are others with the same markdown price!

The towels were really soft and plush and there were discounted blankets in the back with some defects that were marked. I came here for the factory tour, where the wool blankets they spin and finish are done completely…read morein the United States. The tour skips some of the beginning steps (for example, they don't have sheep nor shear the sheep on the factory grounds!) but picks up from where the raw wool is shipped to the factory, dyed, cleaned, and spun into yarn. The yarn is then woven into bolts of fabric, but each square inch has to be inspected by hand and fixed if possible to ensure its quality. Then, the lengths of fabric are cut and finished into blankets. The factory tour took about an hour, and some areas are hot and humid to prevent the wool fibers from breaking, so be prepared for temperature changes. I liked how the tour guide used to be a factory worker herself, and had an intimate knowledge of the workings of the factory. The shop itself sells the blankets and other Pendleton products, and there's even a corner near the bathroom that sells blanket seconds-blankets that didn't pass the inspection process. This may be due to stains, too many broken yarns strands, etc. They're sold at a discount.

The mother of the groom bought a dress on Amazon and it looks like it wouldn't be on time so we wanted to buy a back up outfit. The wedding has a dress code, which was apparently an issue for the sales associate to understand. The original outfit was a sage green pant suit, which was what we were going for (something the mother of the groom had picked). My mother in law was picking options that would make her under dressed and stand out in not a good way , ie short denim dress or overalls. Now the sales associate could have said that's a lovely option for every day but we can help you find something suited for the occasion. To tell the bride that it doesn't matter about the look but comfort like it would be acceptable for someone to wear denim while my mother in laws husbands wears a suit, lol yeah not when I'm paying 2 grand for wedding photos. Didn't even try to show anything more formal. Bought nothing and will not return.

Every 10.00 you spend at Box Lunch and the company donates a box lunch to the needy. The donations are also made on the local level - so here in Oregon they are made to the Oregon Food Bank. The company looks to open more stores, having up to 200 stores nationwide within the year. Right now they are at 20 stores, a worthy and lofty goal for sure! The store has fun items from Disney, Star Wars, Star Trek, Game of Thrones to Harry Potter and various super hero characters. For convenience, I went to return the unopened unworn untried on items and they said that they would not take them back or do an exchange. So I called the company and they did the exchange right over the phone. No problems. Christmas is coming up and it was a big mistake because I won't be spending any of my Christmas money at that store. Customer service convenience those things go a long way in a world that is full of stress and unneeded annoyances. I truly hope the owner of that store sees this and changes. It'd be nice if you let me know if you changed because until you do I won't be a customer there.

This is an easy in and out on most occasions unless you hit a peak Time and you will stand in a line about 5 to 6 people deep.
