This is a pretty average nail salon, plus a few hair stations and a wax station. The decor is pretty dated, and it could use more frequent cleaning. But I don't really care about the walls! Prices on pedis range from $25 up to $65. Upgrades include adding callus treatment, sea salt soak, mud mask, longer massage, etc. I wish they autoclaved their tools. They have fairly new massage chairs, which I appreciate. This helps when you're waiting 20 minutes for a technician. Today, my tech is Anna, who is friendly and capable. I did have to ask for a beverage. Here was my lite pedi for $25: Foot soak, polish removal, nail trim, file cuticle oil applied, cuticle push and trim, buff, pumice scrub on soles, paraffin wax (in bags), calf and foot massage, hot towel wipe, callus trim again, base coat, 2 color coats, 1 top coat. Highlights: She really did a great job on the cuticle trim, not shy at all. Revisited again just before polish too. Good attention paid to nail shape. Smooth polish application. Unfortunates: Massage was pokey, and she rubbed incessantly in between my toes. Hot towel wipe? Why not a leg wrap? She was kind of distracted, helping other techs and other clients while working on me. They have many manicure stations and offer acrylic, shellac, and regular polish. read more

First time I went to this salon. It was a warm and welcoming environment. I got a pedicure and a paint. Pedi was 65 (55$ + 10gel polish) my paint was $20 ( 10$ + 10gel). I made an appointment as one should always do. Also make it for early in the morning too! read more

DO NOT EVER COME HERE! They cut me so bad it hurts to wear shoes. Shellac is all over my skin around the nail which you know causes them to lift in a days time. Just look at the picture and tell me if you think that's acceptable? Came back the next day for a refund( yes they still charged me full price for this) and they said no. Wanted to let me have them fix it. Yea right! If you want you nails done by Freddie Kruger this is your place! No remorse. read more

I love my ombré nails, always the nicest people. They can meet so many needs, nails, hair, lashes, brows.... I have always gotten excellent service, they are so welcoming and friendly. I recommend them to all my friends and family. Great for everyday and special occasions and supper affordable. I just love the job they do. I used to come to this salon all the time a few years back, but obviously things have changed. My latest experience will definitely be my last here. My friend and I both got gel manicures and left extremely disappointed. My nails are bumpy, gel polish all over my nail beds, and peeling one day after getting them. I had a total of seven coats of polish on my nails. My nail tech was very nice and polite but nothing was sanitary. The tools were not sanitized before use, she kept wiping her nose with her fingers then touching my hand, and my friends nail tech scraped off her old gel with his long finger nail after going outside for a smoke break and not washing his hands. It's the bare minimum to expect your nail salon to at least be sanitary and clean their tools between customers. I won't be back. read more

I have gone here before and had a nice pedicure. Today my young daughter and I went here, and it was not as good. 5.5 hours later, my feet are still hurting from the cuticle nipping. The lady I had didn't seem to do nail art, so she didn't even offer which bummed me out a bit. (I didn't catch any names unfortunately). The lady who did my daughters pedicure did a great job. She got offered nail art which I was happy for since it was her very first pedicure. But the lady who did her manicure did a terrible job. I get that she's a kid, but she didn't get a "real" manicure at all. The lady just pretty much grabbed her hands, filed almost nothing, and did a horrible polish job. She noticed how bad it was right away. Inconsistent quality is disappointing. read more

The first time I went here was ok. Rose did a good job on a fill. So I returned with a friend. We got Anna and Liz. One nail had needed a repair which was understandable because I went way too long for a fill. When Anna put the new nail on she barely shaped it! That finger was basically square compared to the rest of my coffin shaped nails. I noticed the acrylic she was using was purple this time. When I asked why she ignored me twice. Finally the 3rd time I asked she said "Oh it's solar powder, $2 extra. Lasts longer/won't lift" I'm like ummm ok? I didn't ask for solar powder but if it was going to last longer I didn't complain even though that was sketchy. The next day one was broken. Two days later another broke. I thought about going in to get it repaired but I didn't want to go back after she had cut my finger 3 times. She was careless and talked to Liz the entire time in Vietnamese. Liz over charged my friend and we were not happy. They could tell by the tip we left. When Anna saw she was lucky enough to get 3$ she got up and left. Didn't put my nails in front of a fan to dry or anything. Literally just left me sitting there. I didn't tell them my bf was Vietnamese so I knew they were talking shit when she saw the tip. I am down to 3 broken nails only 5 days later and never coming back. If your looking for a new nail place, save yourself some time and look elsewhere. read more

A friend and I came here for their spa pedicure as a chance to relax and catch up on old times. The end product was unfortunate. We both agreed that a toddler can do a better job than what they did for us. They did not take their time (basically half assed everything) and was not attentive. Kept yapping around loudly in Vietnamese (haha, they created an environment that was akin to a meat department in the Asian supermarket). The "massage" portion lasted a few minutes. Won't be coming back. read more

I went for the first time and waited a few minutes even though everyone was sitting around. The nail tech spoke very very little English so we didn't speak at all. When she was about to be done I told her she had missed a coat on one hand (2 coats on one and 3 on the other). She didn't understand what I was saying so she asked for help from another person there. She didn't understand either, so I ended up with 3 coats and 4 on another. I was also grossed out by the nail tech that sat next to us who kept snorting instead of going to blow his nose. Not a pleasant experience. read more

Mimi was the lady that did my pedicure first time in the shop. Staff was friendly the price was not bad but my compilates are that I was not offered anything to drink, they didn't have the blue plastic protector on the foot spa,and I feel like the pedicure was not done properly and wasn't long enough for the price I felt like it was rushed, I had the 35 dollar pedicure. read more

I went here for the first time on the recommendation of a friend who loved it. I used to go into Clackamas, but with gas prices so high I needed to find a place closer to me since I tend to be in Gresham a lot. I was warmly greeted and asked to sign in; I hadn't made an appointment. I saw people getting haircuts, pedicures, and manicures. Everyone seemed very friendly and I loved the decor. I was given a pedicure by a very nice young man who really knew what he was doing. He took a lot of time to make sure everything was done right. I was pleased with everything he did, and my toes now don't look raggedy anymore. I'd told him I had a sore place on my foot, and he wsa very gentle around that area. He made sure the water wasn't too hot, and was very considerate about my overall comfort. I met Anna, the owner of the shop, who asked my name and was so happy that I'd gone in. Yes, Vietnamese was spoken, but why not? They're Vietnamese! I grew up in a multi-cultural environment (Hawai'i) and hearing another language being spoken was perfectly okay among the workers there. They spoke English to me, so all was good. Prices are very reasonable, and I know I will be back. I'm frequently at the Safeway nearby and will schedule my next pedicure on a shopping day. You know, like a reward for all my hard work! read more

One day My daughter and I were out shopping at Safeway and my Daughter who had it hair a haircut in 5 years decides to get a trim off the ends, The hard part of this is I had been diagnosed with cancer and she had taken care of me throughout the process, as a result at 15 she did not complete her 8th grade year. So now comes her freshman year and time for a trim. She sat down with an Asian hair dresser and explained she wanted a trim off the ends and some layers added to her hair, this lady said She understood and began cutting in the back Of her hair, meanwhile I am Getting a manicure with my back Turned. The lady cut 7 inches Off my daughters hair. My daughter was so upset she couldn't stop crying. All the people In the salon were looking at what a mess The lady had made of her hair, it was awful. I won't forgive this hairdresser ever for what she did to my daughters beautiful down to her waist hair. Her hair is now shoulder length. read more

Although I am not always in the area and go to other places on occasion, this is a place I will usually go out of the way for. Not only are they the highest quality beauty place I've been, they're the most consistent, as in consistently good. Even if I don't go in for months, they usually remember me. Sometimes, by name. The nail, pedicure, and eyebrow waxing is consistently great, which are the only things I've been in for, but everything else must be good too, because I see people who must be repeat customers. Sometimes they'll come in to get their hair cut, and ask for specific people. Also, there is a hair salon pretty much next door, so if that many people come in to get their hair cut, it must mean they're good at it. They have great massage chairs for the spa, a "menu" of pedicure choices to pamper you, complimentary wine or coffee, and fabulous quality pedicures, with friendly people. The pedicure station is set up with kind of a Hawaiian theme, it's cute, and relaxing. Also, it's a huge nail color selection, and salt scrub collection. Prices are also reasonable, and on par with other places I've been. I've seen cheaper, but when I used to get my nails done, no one could beat this place in nail perfection. read more

I really tried giving this nail shop a fair chance to be CONSISTENT in their work - but to no avail. The ladies there are all good (mostly) but the work was so inconsistent. I would usually get the fill, wax and pedicure, but I never knew what I would be getting from visit to visit. Anna (I believe she's the owner) was probably the worst offender. She is friendly mostly, but could be very moody at times. I'm spending my money, I do not need you to be moody - seriously. If you're just desperate and happen to be in the area and REALLY need someone to work on your nails, then give them a try - just watch them to make sure you're happy with the end results. So inconsistency, moodiness and work you can't depend on has caused me to move on to another nail shop. read more

Liz does a great job on acrylics! Nails last well over 3 weeks no cracks, chips or anything. I go in for a fill due to grow out. She asks what you want and actually does that. Very nice change of pace. They are all very friendly and the shop is always clean. read more

Don't go here!!! Don't get a haircut here . Spend a little more elsewhere. You will regret it. They have no idea what they're doing. They rush through the haircut to get to the other clients. They only care about the money and not the customer! read more

This spot is freaking awesome. I came here several times, and I was totally satisfied with what they did. The decoration is perfect, especially at Christmas time. All of the nail tech are so lovely, and each of them is very professional. My nails always looked nice after being done at Fashion Hair & Nail. I really love sitting in the pedicure chair because it's comfortable and relaxed. Such a modern chair that I have sat ever! As a server, I know that sometimes we can not please all of the requests of the customers, but I know that they already tried their best. I've been going here since November, but today was the worst. I arrived 15 minutes early, no one said a word. Told the girl I just needed to have my roots done and a fill for my nails. She seemed irritated that I didn't want the highlights done again..had them done 4 weeks ago, and wasn't feelin' it. Sorry. while she is dying my hair, she gets a piece of hair fully covered in dye, in my eye...then admonished me for not keeping my eyes closed. Really? Then normally while I wait for the dye to take they do my nails...instead, the nail girl starts on someone who arrived 45 minutes after I did; who didn't have an appointment? Final straw...she gets the dye out of my hair and there's dye all along my hair line, AND she doesn't even OFFER to blow dry my hair...just takes off the cover and says..."you're done". NOT coming back...looking for a new place. read more

Poor sanitation. Trash garbage everywhere. Really BAD here! That old lady Looks so bad! And they don't say anything like Hello to you. poor service and Bad job they do. But I must be pay for $40. Got a mani pedi here on Friday morning, had to find a place since i did not get a chance to do mine in seattle for a wedding the next day. Staff is friendly and prices are cheap, but my nails were not cut correctly, the edges were not buffed and rounded to prevent my nails from poking my toe and finger nail beds. Idk how to describe it. But basically 3 days later, i have been feeling pain from the sides grinding against the sharp nails that were not cut and rounded out. I had to cut the corners of my toe nails and finger nails to relieve the pain and pressure. I did not get the girls name that did mine, she was younger, probably mid 20s. Unfortunately wont be back. It was a basic cleaning and polish done for $43 ($3 for your own file and buff bag). They dont even add any kind of salt in the water, no scent. Its $5 more for it. Not even that basic blue one other nail places put in. When the girl polished my nails, the polish would cover the skin under the nail tips, i had to ask her to clean a cuticle out because there was still skin hanging out. Whole experience felt cheap. Would not recommend them, it was careless in how she did the services. Havent experienced this poor of service at a nail salon in a while. Maybe it was just a bad technician, idk, but wont come back again. read more

My husband and I just moved to this area , and was looking for a new haircut place , this place just happened to be right by safeway, very convenient . They offer all different kind of services from hair to nails and wax . The gal that did my nails also offers Microblading eyebrows which I can use for myself. My husband couldn't be any happier with his haircut and he's very picky about his hair , my pedi and mani session was amazing, Leoni talked me into trying the new Vegan pedicure and I loved it . I highly recommend this place if you lived in the area or looking for a change . All the staffs were very nice and friendly. read more

About a week and a half later, my pinky nail started lifting, which was extremely painful and a clear sign the acrylic was applied incorrectly. She was passive-aggressive throughout, calling me old and saying my head looked too big for my body in a backhanded way. When she started on my nail design, she became openly insulting, condescending, and belittling. I have auditory processing issues, and I'm on the spectrum, so explaining things concisely is one of my biggest struggles. Even with a reference photo for her, I struggled to answer her questions in a way that satisfied her. She told me I was giving her a headache and kept repeating the same few words, louder and more irritated, over and over again, when I would try to ask for clarification. I felt really uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. In the end, my sisters' and my nails cost $300--$150 for what are honestly the worst acrylics I've ever gotten. She rushed to finish so quickly that I didn't even get to properly check them until I got home, when it was obvious how bad, painful, and poorly done they were.

I returned a few days later to get a pedicure and acrylic on my big toes, she once again provided an amazing treatment & service being very kind and responsive to what I was wanting. I kept insisting she stop doing that but she didn't listen. She CURED THEM with giant globs then filed them and I was like you don't see the globs? There not even! They're lumpy. This is the epitome of what every video online wil l tell you NOT to do! I had to teach her proper technique that she should be applying an even layer. My nails looked horribly and she basically had to file off ALL of the builder gel and then go over it with regular gel. To finally make them look normal. The sides are still fat and lumpy. I had to file them myself when I left. I was planning on coming here to get my nails done for my wedding in a few weeks but unfortunately the skill level at this salon with builder gel is very alarming. I wanted to stop her but the gel was on at that point. I'm flying to LA tomorrow and will have them fix it. I'm not trying to be mean but the management needs to teach proper technique. It was low effort and they should take better care of having higher quality skill. Please watch a video online or tik tok of how to apply builder gel if you go here and then compare the technique they are using you will see it is not industry standard. The place is beautiful and I really wish I had a better experience because my first one was wonderful. But the results have been too inconsistent each time

They made me wait 25 mins before someone worked on my nails. The first woman took off my previous dip and sanded the nail beds. Then, she gave me to a different woman for the next steps. I had already told her I did not want that woman as she had done my nails previously and they were lumpy and had a black speck on one nail that I saw and told her that wasn't supposed to be there and she said you wouldn't be able to see it when we were done but when we were done you could see it plain as day and when I asked her to redo that nail, she said she couldn't see anything and the nail was fine. So, I told the woman I would rather have someone else do the finishing of the nails this time. She then sanded my nails some more for the prep and I had to wait an additional 30 mins for another woman to be available. No problem, a good set of nails is worth the wait. Overall, it took them 2 hours to do nails that shouldn't have taken more than 70 mins. Normally, my nails last 3 weeks and the only thing forcing me to get them redone at that time is the grow out. 6 days after getting my nails dipped, the tips and sides started to peel away from the dip and the top coat started to peel off. I was out of town and couldn't go back to the salon until day 10, and by that time 3 of my nails had the tips ripped off completely from snagging on stuff. Keep in mind these are my real nails. I've been having my nails dip mani for over 4 years straight and this has never happened. This was caused by lack of experience and expertise when prepping and finishing my nails. When I finally went into the salon to show the manager my nails, she said that happens with real nails. Ummm, no it doesn't. It's never happened to me. I asked for her to remove the remaining product from my nails and provide me a refund of my $70 I paid. She said refunds were against their policy but she would have someone fix them. I had already had everyone at her store do my nails at some point and none of them were worth $70 and 2 hours of my time. So no thanks on your sub par service. Ultimately, she chose to not give me a refund and told me she would prefer I leave a negative review of her business. I was very disappointed in her choice of outcome.

Noticed when she shampooed my hair the temperature was warm and perfect, and during the final rinse she switched to cool water. She was able to accomplish the length and texture of my hair without overdoing it and gave me the perfect look for my round face. At the end, my hair was silky smooth, soft to touch and cut beautifully all in a short time span. Since we had the time, I also decided to get my eyebrows waxed and let me tell you. My eyebrows looks more fuller! I started off with thin small brows that was grown and unruly and without precision waxing and detailed tweezing she made it seem perfect! Bonus feature is she accepts the 10% discount when you arrive and check in on Yelp. Highly highly recommend for everyone to stop by and try Amy's! I would have loved to get photos, but she said she is in the middle of renovating and upgrading her sign and inside. *Covid procedures on hand. Hand sanitizers available before entering and she wore a mask the whole time, and I did the same.

It says something that I've been coming here for several years. I get monthly acrylic fills with gel color over that. My nails almost NEVER chip and, if they do, it's because I've banged them against something really hard. I've always been happy with pedicures too. I don't understand some of the negative reviews. I'm always greeted immediately when I come in. The owner comes and says hello when I'm getting my fill, and the other technicians readily smile at me. It is clean, no question. Everything at the sink where I wash my hands is labeled and clean. I've not availed myself of hair or waxing services so can't comment on those. Two thumbs up! read more

I have been going here for 10 years and they are great. I have never had a problem and my nails are always exactly like I want them. The owner always walks around to make sure everything is OK. I don't know why there are bad reviews because if someone isn't happy they are always willing to correct anything and make it exactly how you want it. I used to live nearby but now live all the way in Vancouver and I still travel to this shop because they are that good. Everyone there is super friendly. Please don't listen to the bad reviews. But I couldn't help but feel like I just was not welcome. I picked a color and although I know, sometimes the colors change slightly underneath of the light this color had to have been old because when I tell you the color that is on my fingernails is not the color that I chose, pretty frustrating and considering I snuck this appointment before I had work, I did not have time for her to take it off and change it . All well during this appointment there is a man in the back corner of the shop, banging on a pipe and making all this loud noise. Which is fine if repairs need to be done OK , but people literally work hard for their money and they wanna come here and relax and get their nails done not listen to a construction zone . And the last thing I'll say is that I didn't ask for a major design. I asked for a tiny little heart with a specific angle. And as she was trying to do this, I noticed that my middle nail was completely crooked. Not angled wrong because of how my nail bed is laying, like actually crooked. I tried to express that it was crooked and all she did was file it more crookedly. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately $60 for a full set that is basically crooked and wrong doesn't feel fair. I just simply left after paying. And i dont think ill be back. Could be worth another shot. But im not satisfied.
