Gave the bakery 2 pictures to go by and specific instructions. What I got was an incoherent sad excuse of a cake. You couldn't tell it was for a birthday let alone the theme. Never go to the Kirksville Walmart for a specialty cake.

We went 3 times-bought 1st time the bargain basement pricing on 1 item, 2nd time gift for xmas and 3rd time did not buy anything. I will say if you want one pot or pan and not an entire set then you can get that there. I rarely see anyone in the parking lot. The other thing was the 3rd time we went there was 1 checkout person, and 5 other people standing around talking up by the checkout we could not figure out why there was a line to checkout and 1 checkout person and 5 people standing around that worked there-not sure-we needed all of them checking people out or being trained, anyway does not matter, do not plan to go back. There was so much hype they were bargain basement pricing, I did not find that to be true. We were not looking for any 1 specific item, but we did a lot of price checking and they just did not live up to the hype I was sold.

The place was clean, the employees were friendly and helpful and welcomed us to the store. They do only seem to have self-checkouts rather than any manned checkout stations but the employees help you and check you through without having to be asked anyway. The store isn't huge, but it's a nice size, and they have carts. There were so many bargains for things that would've cost a fortune even just if you went to Walmart. My friend and I each got a few things and it was so hard to limit ourselves!! The only suggestion I have is to add in some old fashioned candy to the little area where you can fill a bag up with individual pieces, root beer barrel hard candy and Old Fashioned Vanilla Creme Drops for instance. But, other than that it was a wonderful shopping experience and I really wish we had one in my town so I could go back more often! I'm definitely going to make another visit when I go through Kirksville again!

This was followed by access to an empty area where we created a sewing center making more than 15,000 masks for area schools. Currently we've been giving sewing lessons, a kickoff of lost art classes we are offering at the Quincy Golden k university. We also have open sewing two days a week and we have been making quilts to donate to police and fireman to have on hand in an emergency and when children need to be wrapped in a blanket. None of this would have been possible with the generosity of Quincy Town Center. Their entire staff especially security have been amazing! Because I'm there I've found several great places to shop and eat too!

The movie ended at 10pm and as we were walking out, we noticed a couple of claw machines on our way out and I gave my nephew $5 to play before we left. Well this rude lady comes from a door near the claw machines, maybe security I dunno cause she wasn't in a uniform but with a pretty ridiculous attitude she says "YOU ALL MEED TO LEAVE, the mall is closed!!" I looked at her and said "Excuse me!" And with an attitude again she said the same thing..... so I told her she ask politely without being a B! The mall should not have movies that end that late if this lady is going to harass people on their way out..... I was treating my family to a fun night and it was just nonsense how she acted. If she is part of your employment.... Maybe find someone who is actually wanting a job and considerate. Unnecessary drama for no reason. Side note- all the theater employees and the movie was amazing!!!!
