I've been to a hand full of the other Marshalls locations where I have seen a very unkept messy store at those in the north side. HOWEVER I normally don't come to this location but will be moving forward because of its cleanliness and great selection. Impressed this store was clean, large aisles and friendly staff. They kept it organized and though busy, one could not tell Masks are not required but most people had them on. The staff still has theirs on. I forget how many items they have especially name brand hair and skin products. My favorite section is the gourmet foods. Find all sorts of different snacks, all too tempting. Coffee, tea, some foods you would not expect They have expanded their pet section, lots of doggie beds, toys, snacks there too. Toys and children's books are a bargain. Of course there is the usual shoes and clothing for everyone from adults to babies. One can easily spend hours here. read more

If there's a riot in San Antonio, they may declare Marshalls Law. Which means everyone has to shop here, and stay here overnight. You cannot leave the store after 10pm. Boom. Barbie likes this Marshalls in the south part of the city which is not fancy at all and actually is in a low-income area but has some pretty good deals and gets very very busy because of that. Wake up call....robbers and people who steal, and people who make you feel uncomfortable are on every side of town. This Marshall's is the same as the others. Workers are nice. Good mix of goods. The worst experience. I reported a suspicious person removing a security tag off a shoe and instead of them investigating the Female worker followed me the whole hole time I was shopping asking if everything was alright. She made me feel as if I was the criminal. Even followed us outside to see what we where driving. What is the problem with these employees. No bueno. read more

This Marshall's could use a make over when it comes to display and a through cleansing especially the entrance area. Very dirty and grimy. I understand lots of people go through stores but no excuse for not having standard of cleanliness. The counter service is average. I noticed their clothing Selection is okay could have more Large and extra large sizes...or that is a popular size not sure. I will be back as I so enjoy shopping. read more

Worst Marshalls I've ever been to. The line is wrapped around the store and they don't even bother to open all the registers. Overheard a woman say, "Isn't it funny that this location doesn't have all the choices that the one on the Northside does?" I don't know which one she meant, but she's right. Still, I occasionally find a gem, though that doesn't make it worth a stop. Best buy here was a Vineyard Vines tshirt and some comfy towels for an average price. I do like Marshall's better than Ross though! I finally broke down and agreed to get new shoes. While we were there, we decided to look for bike shorts or walking shorts. I took the chosen item and my shorts to the fitting rooms. I was blessed to be greeted by the sweetest woman ever. I was so stunned by her amazing customer service, I neglected to get her name. She offered to hold my shoes while I tried my shorts on. Then when I came out the most unusual thing happened. She actually had a conversation with me. She was not a young little college brat who was just there for a check. The darling woman who was working asked if the fit was good. Then she asked if I had a chance to try on the shoes. Now, here is were it gets amazing. She actually said Thank You for choosing to visit us at Marshalls. Due to her appearance, and my business upbringing, I can honestly tell you she was a woman who has worked in the old fashioned era of Superb Customer Service. It is becuse of the women in the fitting room and ONLY because of her, will I visit that store again. When I got up to the front, the cashier was just the opposite. rude, ugly in demeanor, and just plain mean. I think the fitting room lady needs to be promoted to Customer Service Trainer. read more

Yesterday, I tried to return a comforter that came damaged and received the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not only did the manager and employees treat me with disrespect and roll their eyes but they treated me like I was a criminal because I was asking for a refund. As I kept composure they continuously treated me like I was some ghetto person trying to scam them. The fact that English is not my first language they tried to take advantage of the situation by repeatedly saying they were not going to refund or exchange the item. The store manager was called and she she also said no we don't sell low quality products. I tried to show them that the damage on the comforter was not stains but mold. The cashier and manager pulled the packaging and threw it on the floor as I was still trying to show them the damage. I have never been so humiliated in my life. This was absolutely the worst customer service experience. I will not shop at this store again and don't recommend anyone to go there either. read more

recently I went into Marshalls because I need some long sleeve shirts, for the up coming winter (South Texas winter). I happened to purchase two shirts and ask about some of the pricing on some other shirts. well the manager (McCreless, San Antonio) asked me if she could help me? I said yes, that would be nice. so she showed me the regular retail price and Marshalls retail price and I was really surprised at the difference, and these shirts are designer shirts. needless to say I purchased a couple of more shirts. I would like to add that the staff there at Marshalls were very helpful and pleasant, definite recommend. thank you!! read more
