I am a handicapped and I came in and Anna, who greets the door was so busy talking to some man, possibly flirting with him, and I was questioning her about the handicapped carts. She turned around and just said, oh, the battery's charging and turned around. I didn't let me finish my conversation. I don't asked her again and she proceeded to ignore me. It wasn't until I called her out that she turned around to decide to help me. She was very rude and even the gentleman. She was talking to possibly a married man. I'm sure he began to throw insults at me for standing up for myself. As a customer. Then I went to number 15, where Irene was working, and she said, oh, it's closed. The light was on until she saw me approaching and she turned it off. I proceeded to another register where that lady was taking long and started walking back to self-serve towards Anna's register. I noticed her light was back on as she was calling a gentleman from another aisle to help him. I explained to her. I said I was just here and she goes. Oh oh yeah, I just turned my light back on. These 2 women should not be working if they cannot assist handicapped. People shame on them. They should be flipping burgers in the back of McDonald's, where no one can see them very disappointed. Also I was looking for poster board paper and a lady was on the aisle and she said, oh, it's in the last aisle. It was not in the last aisle she did not assist me. I had to find it myself. Walmart does not deserve one star at least this one the workers are lazy and refuse to assist. They should get to know their store, just like they used to back in the days at K mart. Wish I could leave no stars! The tire center people there are lazy and rude. Cindy the supposed manager and Adam one of the tire guys would not stop stressing the fact that it would be a long wait even after I said it was fine with me. After that they proceeded to look for any reason to reject me and they finally found one saying that my wheel lock key was not the one that came with the wheel locks even though it worked fine. I've done my tires at wal mart before and never had that issue. If you don't want to work in the heat then get and office job it's very simple. Lazy and unmotivated. I had ordered something's while in Walmart and they canceled my sodas chips and other snacks on app well they canceled it @ store refused to help cause I wanted my cash back. Really they said the money was pickup when I sign to cancel the order. Funny they said it was no show and refused to give my money back. this store is the worst store. I canceled any apps I have with Walmart now and still trying to get refund. Had to call police make report and when the officer asked to see the film and signature the mgr stated they didn't have it. How could they tell me I signed for when @ store when I have receipts I just showed while I was in Minnesota til Sunday. Well goes to show they just keeping money from orders canceled on their behalf , I called also rescheduled pickup for day I was here. like I'm gonna spend $1,200 in flights to steal $15 dollars in sodas and snacks lol read more

I understand the stress of being super busy in retail around the holidays, but the cashier I had was rude! Mind you his tag said his name AND that he is a lead cashier. A nightgown I wanted to purchase did not have a barcode, so I went to get one that had a price tag. There was another customer behind us, but the register did not have a plastic divider, so everything was close together. I come back by the time he scans the last item and goes, "Is this all you have? because I would have just scanned all of it." I had a $100 gift card to pay with, but the total came out to $101. I gave him the gift card and he goes, "Is the total amount on it? Because if not. I can't use it." If he didn't know how to do different forms of payment, he could have just said so, but he was giving me a hard time about it. Last time I checked you can use two forms of payment. I didn't want to argue with him because the line was getting long, so I just paid with my debit card. Super Irritating and unfriendly on his part. He's a lead cashier. The deals are ok,the get a price match .you have to jump threw hoops and threw several managers just to save.makes it not even worth it . Best part of a visit here .is running into family or friends.always assume your go. A be judged so dress appropriately. UPDATE: So after being contacted by Wal-Mart corporate both by messenger and email, the rep stated I'd be contacted directly by the store within 3 business days. That never happened. No contact from the store. I emailed the rep back to explain I hadn't been contacted, and their solution was that I contact the store directly. You mean contact the same management team that implemented this contract with the towing company then lied about it then explained they didn't care? That management group? Seems like I was correct from the beginning...this Wal-Mart does not care about veterans! And it all starts at the top. Initial review: Don't believe the rhetoric, this Wal-Mart doesn't care about this country's veterans! Apparently, the Wal-Mart here at 3302 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78223 near Brooks city base is in business with Martinez Eagle One towing. On Wednesday afternoon, my friend visited Brooks City Wal-Mart. It was around 1p.m when he finished shopping and returned to his truck; he experienced some mechanical issues apparently so he left the truck and caught a ride home. Everyone's seen the news stories where Wal-Mart allows travelers and travel trailers to stay a night or two in their parking lots around the country so he figured it'd be fine til he could get back with some help. This fella is a retired combat vet who spent 27+ years in the U.S. Army. He served 6 combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and retired in Spring '16. He's also 100% disabled, and has disabled veteran plates on his truck. He lives in Adkins now so he frequents this area and this Wal-Mart. Friday afternoon, I get him back to the Wal-Mart--his truck is gone. He's anxiety-riddled thinking someone must've stolen it. He goes inside to see if any manager can help with information. As I wait outside, I figure maybe it was towed? Could it be? Would someone tow this disabled vet's truck from Wal-Mart? While the management team inside is swearing no-one called a tow truck, I call Growden St impound--that's the city's lot. The gent who answers the phone says, yep, it was picked up and gives me a number to call. The tow company, Martinez Eagle One, was a nightmare to deal with over the phone. That's an entirely different review. On the ride over my friend explains what transpired inside the Wal-Mart, how the managers on duty all swore they hadn't called, each said it wouldn't have been an issue anyway for at least 48 hours. Something here does not compute. Now, this tow yard is behind a gate so there's no just pulling in. He calls, the same unsympathetic woman I'd spoken to initially says it'll be 5 minutes til someone will get to the gate. We wait 15, still nothing. I can see the office about 100 yards off the road. While we're waiting, I call Wal-Mart because there are logic holes between the story he's relayed, and the info I was provided by the tow company. I get a member of the mgt team, Priscilla, on the phone and ask the critical question..."so no-one called a tow truck, but you folks have a contract with this towing company, right? So they just cruise your parking lot?" Yes is her response. My friend takes the phone to tell her how disingenuous they'd been lying by omission when he'd asked earlier. She explains she could really care less. She clearly doesn't care about this veteran of foreign wars. As for her assertion they don't tow for at least 48 hours, we discover Martinez Eagle One picked up the truck Thurs at 0430 which means that truck had been in that lot maybe 15 hours. It cost my friend $280 to get his truck back. Martinez Eagle One and Wal-Mart, you both should be ashamed. Neither of you will see another dime from either of us. This review will be sent to Wal-Mart corporate, and to the city's news rooms as well. Shame on you! read more

Waited over 45 min for motorized cart. Welcomer looked for one then went to lunch while I stood there. A couple walked in tried to help, shopped came back, thru up their hands and went and got the manager. As I stood there 3 people checked out with them and 2 came back in with one?? Where hope goes to die. Long lines, few cash registers open and the people who are there aren't trained to ring people up. Also when I'm leaving the store I would appreciate not being treated like a criminal. If your cashiers can ring up an entire cart full of food and not see 2 large food items in the cart, not under it then you insult them by calling them incompetent and your customers by calling them thieves. I realize no one at Walmart cares if they lose a customer. I am going to make a huge effort to shop any place but Walmart. Got my groceries and went to check out. The self check no longer takes cash. That would be too convenient for customers. The people taking care of the self check have very little knowledge about what to do if you make a mistake. The lines were long so I called the office to ask for more checkers. She asked if I was a customer or employee. When I said customer she hung up on me. I called her back and she said because of covid 19 they could only use every other checkout line. So... The people staying in the store much longer than necessary are more apt to get covid. Also she lied because only 2 checkers were there along with the self checkout areas. The lines were long. My grocery bill was $146.00 and I came real close to leaving my cart and going to HEB. My husband use to leave his stuff all the time and walk out but he just refuses to go in Walmart anymore. I made the mistake of turning in the Walmart parking lot instead of going across the highway to HEB . I got home and and was missing a bag of groceries. I'm sure it was left on the spin bags that they put your groceries in. Later I drove to HEB and picked up the things I was missing. The kid behind was moving as fast as a herd of turtles. I'd rather have a 70 year old check me out with a little work ethic. I wish people would just stopi going for a week. Take a national break from Walmart until they hired some more people and managed the people they have better.. Wouldn't that be great? Bet things would change. As a property manager for nearly 40 years I am a customer service person.. I have never seen so much lack of customer service and direspect for the people that makes Walmart rich. read more

This Wal Mart is under going change in exterior color change that will bring a fresh look but same vibe as it's still a zebra with basic that's black and white. The Pharmacy is undergoing a revision so it sits in middle of Wal Mart guess the focus is you need drugs. Sorry medical industry seems over rated. read more

Oh yes! This store is 1. Open 24hrs 2. Very nice at 545am. It's totally clean and well organized. The kind of store that doesn't roll their eyes when you bring a newborn missing a diaper because "oh my god how could you of run out at 530am will this pregnancy brain ever go away?!". Also the McDonalds is open before 6am too so you can reward yourself at the end of your CRAZY morning with a delicious sausage biscuit and orange juice. Walmart for the win! read more

Me and my wife were at this location a few days ago trying to buy an xbox controller. As usual there were no employees in electronics. We asked someone for help and she said she would send someone right over. We waited for assistance for about 10 minutes. During that time 2 not so secret shoppers (security) were swarming around us like coyotes. I guess nobody told them making themselves painfully obvious defeats the purpose of being secret shoppers. They weren't even pretending to shop. So finally the same employee returned and told us that she would send the manager. After that we waited for about twice this long with these same 2 guys breathing down our necks. At this point we gave up and decided not to even continue grocery shopping as we don't want to spend our money with anyone who snubs us. I'm not sure if it's because we are an interracial couple, or if they simply feel like guarding their merchandise is a priority over selling it, but that's enormously bad for business either way. The good news is we ended up spending about $230 in electronics at target and were very satisfied with our shopping experience. We got help right away and were treated with respect. It turns out we are much more likely to continue shopping when we feel welcome. If you all are that protective of your merchandise by all means keep it. We won't return to this location. read more

Went to get my oil changed here about 2 1/2 hours prior to returning at approximately 3:40 PM to check on a status on the oil change. Another lady was checking on her tire change-and was told that there isn't an estimated time specifically set for her completed vehicle service. She was pressed for time and was hoping to get fast and friendly service-but was told that the ones working on her vehicle currently are going on a hour lunch and that the service will be stalled until his break is up. There was no one else to fill in for the employee going on break and there should have been someone there to complete the job for her in a timely manner. After all, your paying a pretty penny for this service. Very unprofessional. read more

We searched for a sofa sleeper mattress on Walmarts website. We purchased the mattress online that was supposed to be for a sofa sleeper. When we picked up the mattress we were told that we could return it at any time within 14 days. We tried to return the mattress after 10 o'clock and were told that they could not help us, because customer service closed at 10. We spoke with the manager in a yellow vest and blond hair. She was very rude. We spoke to another manager and asked if we could return the mattress at the cash register and he stated that he could not help us because he would get in trouble. We bought the mattress for our grandson and I was not going to have access to a vehicle the next day because my husband was going to work. They did not seem to care. Why do you have a service that allows you to get a mattress the same day but not return it the same day. I will not be returning to this Walmart and I'm going to cancel my Walmart credit card. I'm sure they will not care but I do. read more
