I filled out a form on Thomas Service Company's website, they called me first thing Monday morning and Kyle showed up just as promised. Kyle was pleasant, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to help us. After expertly fixing our Sub-Zero issues (They're 15 years old and these were minor fixes so shout out to Sub-Zero) he also adjusted the burners on our Wolf range to help them perform better! The work Kyle did was excellent, and I was grateful for his work and professional manner. He also told us the story of their family business and that was nifty, too! I highly recommend Thomas Service Company, Sub-Zero, and Wolf. Added benefit: The total service bill was way less than I imagined!

Thomas Service Company keeps my 20 year old Subzero chugging along. Recently they had to replace a…read moreleaking coil and failing compressor in the refrigerator section. This was a major repair and was pretty expensive but should keep my Subzero viable for many years to come. Thomas specializes in Subzero products and their technicians really know their business. I used another repair service once and although the technician meant well he was not very familiar with Subzero so he really wasn't able to fix the problem and I called in Thomas who did. Thomas technicians know what they are doing, they are polite and informative, and they don't make a mess. On my most recent repair, I noticed that the temperature in the refrigerator section was too high. I called in the afternoon and had a repair crew on site the next morning. They very quickly diagnosed the problem and showed me the evidence. Since it involved a major replacement of parts, I expected to have to wait until the parts were ordered but they had the correct parts in their truck and completed the repairs in about an hour. We have hard wood floors in our kitchen and they were careful to protect them from damage. Other than having a substantial bill (which wasn't their fault), I was extremely happy. If you own a Subzero you should use Thomas Service.

Dropped off the rim to have the new tire put on and it was back to me within 48 hours. Here is where the 5 star service comes in, the gentleman that helped me check out was incredibly kind and helpful, he answered all my questions about this, that, and the other thing. I got home and quickly put the tire on. It immediately went flat... called to ask what could have happened, they said bring it back in and they would fix it right there. I get the tire off and it was 100% my fault. I put the tire on backwards (like an idiot) and the valve ripped off. Again, this was completely my fault, they did the tire perfectly, I just wasn't paying attention and in a hurry to get the gator back in commission. I brought it in, tail tucked, and explained my mental shortcomings. The same gentleman that checked me out took it back and fixed it for me right there. 10/10 customer service 10/10 staff 10/10 work. If you have any service needs, I cannot recommend the service department at century enough.

I tried ace hardware with no success and then took the unit over to Century Power equipment to see if they could help. The service manager got the spark plug out and the parts dept found the one I needed and service installed it right away. I had never been to Century before and was really pleased with what they were able to do for me right away. During our call, he assured us that Ductz wasn't one of those companies that advertise a low price and then surprise customers with unexpected add-ons. We had only minor mold in our attic noted during inspection, and Terry confirmed that using Microbiocidin would be unnecessary and excessive for our situation.When the technicians arrived, they asked what needed to be done--which immediately concerned me. I had to ask if they had a work order to follow. After completing the air duct vacuuming, they casually mentioned that a "chemical smell" would fade in about 15-30 minutes. I was shocked--why was there a chemical smell at all? They had sprayed the ducts with chemicals, exactly what Terry told us would not be done.Within minutes, my nose started burning. I had to take my cats and step outside for fresh air. I called the company and spoke with Andy, who tried to reassure me that the chemicals were safe because "hospitals use them." That was not comforting--especially when the odor was so strong we couldn't stay inside our own home.The technicians themselves admitted that the smell was unusually strong because half of our heating system is radiant, meaning they used the same amount of product in half the usual airspace. One of them even said it could take 2-3 days for the smell to dissipate--completely different from the 15-30 minutes I was told earlier.Despite leaving windows open all day and night, my daughter coughed throughout the night from the lingering fumes. The experience was awful from start to finish.  I was also surprised that the technicians still planned to clean the dryer vent, even though I had confirmed with Terry during our phone call that this service wasn't necessary and should not be included on our invoice.  I would not recommend Ductz of NE Metro St. Paul to anyone--especially if you or your family have any chemical sensitivities or respiratory concerns.

They are reasonably priced, very knowledgeable and have a lot of integrity. They sent Richard and Jacob out to clean our ducts and those guys were awesome. They really went the extra mile to clean the furnace, and dryer and our ducts. They even pointed out a few problems they saw with our furnace so we were aware of it. If I could, I would give them 10 stars.

Before I did anything, I gave it a tug and it sputtered and ran for about 3 seconds. I changed the plug, new gas and gave the carb a clean. No luck starting. I brought it over to Carpenters for them to take a look. Someone called me back and told me the saw was shot. Compression too low for any power, parts and labor would be almost what a new saw would cost. Or, I could part it out (somehow). I told them I would come and pick it up and pay for their evaluation, which I did. Weird thing was that when I got home with it I gave it a tug. Started first pull. Not only did it start, but it cut through a 12" diameter birch log like it was butter. Draw your own conclusions.
