Update: The service with Martin has greatly improved. My mother has not had to call in over a month. Her friend has also seen a great improvement in her service. They show up on their scheduled date and pick up (very quietly). Service is excellent, now. It would help if they would extend their customer service telephone hours. Older people are often not as savvy with with social media and text messaging. The service for our friend and neighbor has greatly improved. Kudos to them for the improvements! read more

I started my service April 2026. Almost a month after starting service & paying in advance I still did not have a can. Multiple calls & texts were met with a promise to get one out tomorrow or next week or asap. I eventually had to go pick one up myself. I have not received any bulk waste cards in the mail & after calling multiple times I'm told 'those were mailed out' or advised that I can go to the LaGrange location to pick up a card or that they don't have any more cards for June. They did email me a card last month but the attendant at the convenience center was reluctant to accept it saying 'I can let you pass this time but you are supposed to have an actual card'. Customer service representatives are dismissive, unhelpful and condescending. But, they certainly draft those monthly payments on time each month! read more

Martin Environmental is a sorry excuse for weekly garbage pick up. Out of the last 4 weeks, my garbage was not collected but once on the scheduled day. I had to call and call and call all week to get them out to my house. Now as far as collecting the money for the service, they are right on time. They are never late with the money collection, but when it comes to following through with their end of the deal, they are piss pot poor. read more

We are extremely disappointed with this trash company. Our trash is constantly missed unless we call and complain, which should not be necessary for a service we pay for every month. On top of that, the customer service is horrible representatives are rude, dismissive, and act like customers are an inconvenience. Reliable trash pickup and basic professionalism should be the minimum expectation. We are tired of dealing with missed pickups and terrible attitudes. Troup County Ga chose Martin as our service provider and left us no choice. I must be honest, since day 1 we have experienced the worst service imaginable. They are always late, sometimes don't even show up, and on more than one occasion they have drove right past my trash can and didn't even stop. This happened just last week and today they didn't show. I'll be canceling my service tomorrow. Its not worth the $29 a month that I have to pay. read more

I am a customer in Camden Alabama. The trash pickup is very infrequent. We didn't even get a pickup last week. Several of my neighbors have called to complain and we were promised a pickup. Still hasn't happened. read more
