Paid $100 for flowers to be delivered today and got confirmation of payment and the delivery date was set for today...THEY NEVER DELIVERED. Now I have to cancel the order because the person they were ment for is going out of town tomorrow and try to get my money back. For one of the top flower shops in the CSRA this is absolutely unacceptable. Will not use this shop again. read more

I had originally wanted to get flowers for Mother's Day from Costco but they were all sold out since we went at 3 p.m. the day of, we frantically called Martina's and found out that they still have Mother's Day bouquets left. Upon arrival, we picked out the last hydrangea arrangement and they kindly boxed it up for us. I casually asked about if they still have peonies in stock but they were all out. The shop director overheard and went to the back and got one stem out for me and the lady who helped us taught me how to grow it myself. After being in California for a few years, I have forgotten about our Southern hospitality and Martina's reminded me to always shop local and support small businesses. Wow! Martina's went above and beyond to help me send local flowers to my mother for her birthday. I was online and saw an amazingly beautiful flower arrangement from an internet retailer but kept feeling like I should order local (just in case). Then started looking up local florists and came across Martina's site. I saw several beautiful pictures but still had my heart set on the theme of the internet retailer so I called them to see if they could replicate the arrangement and stay at the unbeatable price. Amanda was such a great help from the moment I called and provided top notch service. I sent pictures and she was able to give me a cost breakdown that only extended my price by $5. And while there was a $10 charge for same day delivery (free online from the internet retailer), I had piece of mind knowing they were from a florist who had a great reputation in the area. Even the designer was wonderful to work with. While they didn't have the exact flowers from the original picture she kept the same theme and colors that drew me to them. Also, I recieved an email notification at delivery, order confirmation, and a picture of what my mom would receive. My mom absolutely the flowers! Hated to give 3 stars. Had used them 2 years ago for my mother's memorial service urn arrangement and the arrangement for her headstone at her interment. Both arrangements were stunning and exactly what I ordered. Fast forward to last week, I stopped in to order arrangement for the top of the headstone for my fathers graveside service, this was with military honors. I requested the colors be red, white and blue. I discussed what I wanted with a designer as well as the lady taking my money and arranging for delivery. The designer understood I wanted something more contemporary, spiky and unusual with a definite male edge. She recommended bamboo sticks and blue delphiniums for height and width. I agreed and told her to pick the remaining flowers and perhaps add some trailing vines. What I got was about half the size indicated by the designer and was comprised primarily of carnations a few roses and greenery they shoved in something blue for the color and a couple of pale blue cast white hydrangea heads for size ? It looked like the local grocery store floral department slapped it together in ten minutes. This was the a delivery to the cemetery and instead of placing the saddle on top of the headstone they just sat it in front of the marker. Overall a very disappointing experience. I called after the funeral and was told the designer that was supposed to make the arrangement, did not make it and they were sorry I was not happy. read more

Highly recommend this florist! I ordered flowers from Martina's for my cousin's graduation since I am out of state and can't travel due to the current pandemic. I called in an order for pick up the following day, gave my price point and her school colors and they made a beautiful arrangement. More importantly, my father went to pick them up and he was impressed by their curb side pick up system where they did not come within at least 6 ft of him and they were wearing masks. They set the bouquet down outside, then walked away so he had a safe distance to pick it up.He felt safe and felt like they were taking all necessary precautions to stay sanitized! I needed to have some roses for a gift for my wife and being the procrastinator that I am, I waited to the last minute to call, around 2:45 pm. I had the crystal vase I wanted the roses arranged in, so I had to run it down there. There was some confusion on the arrangements to have them done that afternoon, but Heather made sure everything went quickly for me. I was going to pick them up near closing time, but she said I could wait, that they would start on it immediately. They did a fantastic job with the arrangement (15 roses with all the trimmings for our 15th wedding anniversary) and I could not be any happier. My wife loved them. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with the flowers that were sent in Augusta, GA. They were delivered the same day , but when I got home I immediately noticed some of the flowers were not the same vibrant color as in the picture. That was fine, since the arrangement was still pretty, but by the next day, many of the flowers have already begun to wilt. I bought the Premium arrangement and can tell they will not last but a couple more days. Very disappointed and unfortunately will not be ordering again. read more

I am from Columbia, SC and got married in Aiken county. My wedding venue recommended them for my bridal and wedding decor flowers. I made a couple trips to the venue and wanted to stop here on one of the same days. I called Martina's Flowers in advance to schedule a time to come. They told me I could come whenever and someone would be able to meet with me to discuss my needs. I drove an hour and a half to get to the florist. When I got there, they told me that the person was not there and that I would have to come back. I explained I was told on the phone I could come at any time and that I am from out of town. They never apologized or even seemed to care about the inconvenience. Needless to say, I walked out and never returned. They certainly lost my business and respect. read more

After my last review, Martina's reached out to me about the arrangement I had received for Valentine's Day. I was told that they stand behind their work and want clients to be satisfied. They offered to replace my arrangement. On Thursday, they delivered a FRESH arrangement to my home. That speaks volumes to me, they are paying attention to what is being said about their product. Rather than make excuses or even give a partial refund to my Dad, they brought me an entirely new arrangement, identical to the one he'd originally ordered. They actually do want you to be happy. I mentioned that my original arrangement wasn't fresh and was wilting within 2 days of delivery. I didn't realize quite how bad it was until the new one came. The quality and freshness of the new entire arrangement is obvious. The structure and shape of the new arrangement is better. This is more on par with what I remember from past years. So, I'm currently enjoying the sweet fragrance of the stargazer lilies- THANK YOU MARTINA 'S. I've added photos of the new arrangement as well. I will purchase flowers here again soon. read more

I am very disappointed in the flower arrangement I ordered last week. I don't even have words to describe this arrangement. The picture on the left is off their website, which is the Standard arrangement ($49.95). I ordered the Premium arrangement, which ended up being $86. The arrangement doesn't look anything like the picture on the left? I can't even begin to think how you could charge someone $50 for this, much less the $86 that I paid. The lady I talked with on the phone specifically stated that there would be green roses (just like the picture on the left). I don't see any! It looks like two heads of cabbage stuck in there. I was recommended by several people to try this business. Friend was retiring from work. I contacted them and asked for a special made arrangement for a live plant with cut flowers and paid accordingly. My friend received the arrangement, sent me a photo, and it was just a small green potted plant. I contacted them about it the next day and was told they don't know why the flowers weren't included, but that I didn't pay for it anyway, but actually I did because it was negotiated in the price quoted to me.
