Honestly disappointed. Insurance policy was suppose to be closed and canceled before its end . End date came and now I'm being charged a fee before it goes to collections from the insurance company a month later!!! Not one call from this agency or a heads up about a closing fee. When I called on how this happened. No help or assistance was given. Just short answer or their "policy" to get me off the phone. Horrible business practice. Worst service, I contacted them to purchase two plane tickets and they promised me to call me back, never happened. I still calling them and I even went to their office, again, they supposed to call me the next day....never did. I went to do my taxes on 01/19/2018 and I juts realized they charged me 30% more for a service I have had been receiving for the last 4-5 years. I did not discuss the price due to "the trust" I had build with these people. My ex-husband has been doing the taxes with them for many many years. When I called to ask why the person mentioned he had discussed the price with me,which did not happen because I handed him my debit card. Then he went on saying that since last year they had "increased their prices" which was a total lie. When I mentioned that an increase of 30% seemed abusive to me he said "they are privileged because they can raise their prices however they want". NEVER GOING BACK THERE! I always told my friends and family to go and do their taxes there but not anymore. read more

Very unprofessional. Makes an appt and leaves you sitting there for an hour. Rude and that daughter of hers is a B****. Don't go there. They did not calculate my taxes correctly. Had to file an amendment and they had the never to say they were not responsible even though when they looked up my file it was all there but was not included on the return. Any professinal knows they get paid not only to file everything correctly but to deal with any hastles that come from state or federal if anything is questionable. Not recommended. read more

This place is very unprofessional!!! They don't care about customer satisfaction nor doing what they're getting paid for, They charged us 250 for our 2016 taxes, and We got a letter from the IRS stating that NOTHING was filed!! Wtf this ppl SUCK, oh, and don't get me started with the waiting...(having an appointment don't mean anything to these ppl)plus the ppl that work there DONT have an idea of what they're doing, at all! They call themselves a business?!!! Learn about business, and get some knowledge first, then open one! They're a big Joke! Don't recommend them at all!!! Btw I'm still waiting for the lady, that answered the phone when I called to complain and talk to the owner, because she wasn't there, I was told they would call me back as soon as she got back from lunch, well damn it's been 2 days and she hasn't finished eating yet?! Pros: Great helpful staff, got me $$$$ on my taxes which of corse counts for all the stars! I was helped by Stephanie, who was not shy in asking as many questions necessary to get me as much back possible, I had checked how much i would of gotten without going to Martha's and realized it would of been horrible without them! Cons: None! there is a Mexican restaurant about 3 buldings down just incase its busy and a liqour store next door in case you get thirsty! They are now going to be working on my Honeymoon trip aswell as for future taxes! read more

If I could give a negative rating for this place I would. I have been very professional and patient with them and still can't manage to complete my 2016 taxes!!... it is now June 2017. The only 2 people that are competent enough to deal with stocks and retirement accounts are never in the office. I've tried to set up appointments, sent them all the documentation needed via e-mail in order for them to to complete my taxes and they can't even confirm that they have received it because they are unable to use their own email. Ridiculous on top of incompetency. They have hijacked my information and are also refusing to refund me the partial money I have already paid them. If you are looking to waste your time and money and be disrespected at every turn then this is the place for you. If you want professional competent people to take care of your important tax documents then please DO NOT COME HERE. They are the worst. I am from El Salvador (as are the owners) which is part of the reason I started doing business with them 3 years ago, to support them. I've been very patient but this is now the 4th year that I have to deal with this ridiculous level of incompetency - it has never been easy and this year is the absolute worst, it's like the owners are on permanent vacation and they've left a bunch of non-English speakers who don't know how to do business in charge. They treat you like a member of the family when you come in and take time to find all your deductions and tax savings. We have literally saved thousands of dollars by switching to them. We started at the Sunnyvale office but now use the Santa Clara office as it is closer to our house. read more

Horrible service will never go here again first off I had my taxes done by them and they charge about 140 I forgot to add a dependent so I had to do 1040x which you can do online by yourself by just printing it out n filling it out and mailing it but we pay for service as she kept telling me after charging me 80 I thought they would take care of it since I'm paying another 80 on top of the 140 n no at the end the hand you a envelope and tell you go to the post office n mail it after you get it weighed completely in shock because thats the whole reason I paid was so they can handle all that for you but No I litterly only thing they did was print it n input my daughter information which I could of my done myself but I EXPECTED FOR 80 for them to take care of IT but no they pretty much charge you and have you pay and go out of your way to do everything BAD SERVICE !!
