Martinez Custom Painting just finished painting my house. They did a GREAT job! First off, the crew is very professional. They wear white uniforms and are nice looking! (The last painting crew we had looked like a bunch of parolees.) Then they proceeded to power wash the entire house! So nice to know that 5 years of grime weren't trapped under the fresh layer of paint. Then they carefully masked everything off. No spatter, no mess at all! The next step was to pour all of the cans of paint into big plastic trash cans so that the paint is uniform in color all over the house. They stirred and mixed so that there is no line where one can stops and the next one starts. Now get this -- never seen this before -- they sprayed and then rolled!! And to top everything off, they cleaned the windows when they left!!!! I would give Martinez Custom Painting the highest possible recommendation. read more

Pete did a thorough assessment of my needs, and then his crew did a GREAT job making the needed pre-paint repairs. The finished job was EXCELLENT! Pete wanted to wait a month to do a re-inspection to make sure the caulking work and any other possible "hiccups" didn't occur. Well, I DID have a couple of mostly minor issues. These guys are the best. Just finished having our roof coated and outside of the house painted. Pete and Steve checked in regularly, and Joe, Miguel and Mike were a terrific crew. I could go on and on -- but a couple of quick examples: We had some crummy looking old aluminum siding that other companies weren't even willing to look at or see what was underneath. Martinez Co. removed the old siding, discovered the wood underneath was perfectly fine except for a couple of gauges which they repaired and the house looks better than ever. Polite, friendly, professional, no bad surprises, concerned that the customer is happy, great clean up and top-notch work, very high quality materials used. I have used Pete and his team of painters on a couple personal residences and some rentals. Pete is very good at looking a project over before the crew starts so there have been very few surprises during a project. Pete and his team are very clean and courteous during the project. I have had interior and exterior work completed by them and the results have always been better than what I hoped for. On exterior projects every thing is pressure washed before starting the painting and during the actual painting it is sprayed and back rolled.
