They were great! Kathy asked me to send a picture of the lock and then stated she thought they could fix it! I called them on Thursday, they came out Friday morning, and resolved our problem in short order! Our back door lock was broken, and the key just spun when trying to open or lock from the outside. After taking the lock apart, Bert diagnosed the issue and then found the part needed in his truck! Now this lock came with the house, built in 1989 in Eldorado, and they do not make it anymore! But, lucky for us, we chose them, because otherwise wewould have to have used a double bolt/handle and the wood in between, which had not been varnished, would look terrible! Actually 5* is HALF the rating Cathy and Bert deserve for their PROMPT arrival, PROFESSIONAL service and KINDNESS to make sure my arthritic hands could operate the newly-re-keyed locks. So 10 stars it is! I had LOST an entire set of keys to newly-renovated and seriously secure building located in a fairly high-crime area. (D'oh!) I was worried sick until they swooped in to save me and re-key all locks. I had a spare set, so no major heroics were necessary, but I was floored by how efficiently they worked. In half an hour 6 locks were changed, 3 copies of each different key made, bada bing bada boom! Best of all, if I need additional copies of the main locks, I can call them with the numbers associated with the exact keying data they have and get more. A lockset suddenly wouldn't retract the bolt or latch in one of my exterior doors that I use several times each day. I disassembled the lockset and it was apparent that the component that retracts the bolt was broken. However, I couldn't figure out how to retract the bolt in order to remove the bolt assembly. I called Martinez Locksmith on a Saturday morning and Kathy within 30 minutes responded asking me to text her a picture so she could walk me thru how to remove the bolt. After seeing the picture she gave me simple and accurate directions that enabled me to remove the bolt and replace the lockset. Now, that's fabulous service! And she didn't charge me a cent. Cathy and Bert are such pros, and nice people, too. I wanted a smart lock installed, and I found them on Yelp. Cathy took my call, asked for pictures of my door, and sent recommendations immediately. Once I received the lock, they came to do the install. Through the entire process, there was great communication (calls, texts and emails.) They were on-time (early, actually.) Their rates were totally reasonable (and they even threw in an extra battery and a couple of extra copies of the keys for free.)
