I will never, ever return to Territorial based on the appalling lack of customer service and extraordinarily rude owners. I own a property mgmt business and had been going to Territorial for the past 18 years for all key copies, and had referred countless clients to Territorial. Those days are gone forever. Based on the appalling, sketchy, unethical and fraudulent actions of Territorial with denying their own culpability at screwing up and lying about the locks they installed at a property, I actually considered calling the Police. Had the owners been reasonable, polite, accountable and service oriented, the outcome would've/could've been very different. THEY singlehandedly made the matter much, much worse and the degree of unprofessionalism was breathtaking. I highly encourage everyone to go to AB1 Locks @ 1915 Cerrillos Road. Very surly owner, would not accept that the lock he sold me wouldn't do the job, even though he did accept that when the lock was engaged you couldn't extract the key - WHICH IS NO LOCK AT ALL, right? He refused to refund because package had been opened, (Duh!) even when I found and asked to buy the correct lock, (He protested it was a different make). I purchased a Smart Schlage lock maybe 1.5 years ago and installation was great- done by Maurizio- but lock was somewhat defective due to problem with changing batteries- wires were too short to allow and after completing this process multiple times I accidentally tore the connecting wire loose and had to consequently purchase a new lock- felt that customer service was not up to par- I have been a business owner and would never have charged me full price for another lock and installation- plus, manager at that time was not very helpful. I began having problems with new lock and went in person to speak to manager about solution and the new manager could NOT HAVE BEEN more helpful or nice- promised to do whatever it took to make it right. The next day Maurizio came again with Ezra to re-program and re- set and try to diagnose problem - seemed to be defective Duracell batteries that I had just purchased at Market St- will go to Bulbs and Batteries next time- hope this is the magic easy solution. I am highly impressed with the upper management of Territorial as their business ethics are sound and respectable as they reimbursed me several hundred dollars for their mistake in serving me professionally. Their mistake came from a lack of technical (electrical) understanding in how to work with my car when programming a new key FOB. It wasn't apparent at first. Once they understood this, after a corrective service was performed by a dealership, they knew they were fully accountable and quickly responded with an apology and reimbursement. Perfectly good service and the two gentleman that were at the shop at 9am were friendly. I went in to get normal keys copied - this place was recommended by a friend who is a local. I contemplated going to Home Depot but it was a bit far and I wanted to get this done before work. No issues with workmanship - all the keys work, and I was in and out in 5mins. I'm so disappointed! I took in a deadbolt lock to have rekeyed and $32 later I find that the keys are so difficult to turn that I cannot use them When I called and talked to the locksmith (who had told me that she found graphite in the lock which makes it difficult to turn a key, I just assumed that she had cleaned it out so that would not be an issue) she said "Sorry but it was working fine when I left with it yesterday. The good news: They do good work. Dennis, one of the techs, worked very hard to solve an issue with our safe. The bad news: I spoke with the dispatcher on three separate occasions, and not once did she mention the $91 trip charge. I find that fee to be excessive. An appliance repair shop we worked with charged us a $75 trip fee, but they drove up from Albuquerque. They will also bump you if another job that's more important comes along. Update, 4.20.18: I have reached out to Gwen at Territorial twice now, at her invitation, to resolve our complaints. She has not responded. read more

I have used Territorial for many projects over the years for my homes and business I will not be using them any longer as their workmanship is no longer the quality it once was ,but their pricing is higher then competitors. A simple schlage deadbolt broke on a seldom used door in December 2017 and was repaired by Territorial at a cost of just under 100.00 dollars, no new hardware just repaired.This past weekend the deadbolt broke again in the exact same way. I called and was told that they only warrant for 90 days and that it would be another 100.00 to come out again. I explained that this door was rarely used and the woman on phone said she would speak with manager and call back.Three days later and no call. read more

We bought a house that had been vacant for several years. There was a wall safe but no record of the combination. I called several locksmith services and was shocked at the quoted prices. It would have been cheaper to remove and replace the safe. Territorial was a happy exception. They charged less than I expected, far less than the cost to replace the safe, and showed up two days before they had thought they could. They were wonderful to work with, prompt and efficient, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs locksmith services. read more
