When I moved into my home with 13 ft ceilings in my living room, it was worth every penny to have them press the drapes before hanging. Last week I bought a pricey coat, but being short I needed the sleeves taken up and I wanted the buckle removed from the belt and finished off so it can be tied instead. They nailed it! The cost was right where I thought it was going to be, very reasonable. I should have written this review many years ago, so I thought I'd take the chance to do it now. I was a first time customer today. I walked in, the lady did say hello; hesitantly. I asked her if she could sew on a very uniquely made patch onto a very lovely jacket. She abruptly says, WHERE? I thinking ok, relax and remove the hesitation from your voice. As I proceeded to explain where the patch would go she days, no, too many turns. She picks the jacket up again looking at it with a sour face. I said of you don't want to do it, just tell me. She hands it back and says nooo with this, passive aggressive response/behavior. I politely said, thank you and left. Finding people to actually wanna do the job they've specialized in is almost impossible. Needless to say, I found a very nice woman who'll have the jacket complete no later than next Wednesday. It's costly. But very worth it. The new owners are very pleasant but the quality isn't there. The sweaters are now smelly like they've been in my grandmothers basement for 20 years, buttons are broken after being crushed and they don't seem to try to learn who their regular customers are. The lady informed me that there was a possibility of the iron on letters that were on there coming off, and I understood and told her that it was OK.
